The Kylie Rae situation was always going to come back to haunt AEW. Something always seemed off about that. Now we know what. But I am surprised that Jericho is allegedly involved. Is this the first we've ever heard of him possibly doing anything like this?

Bubba, half the fun of the Rumble has been the random surprise entrants. They've gone away from that in recent years, which makes me sad. Tye Dillinger would absolutely in line with the spirit of past Rumbles, and it'd be a good pop and fun moment. Also, proof that AEW got a fun midcard attraction handed to them on a silver platter and had no idea what to do with him. But this is the same company that never truly took advantage of Bryan Danielson, so it would be a miracle for Shawn Spears to make any headway. Why? Because "reporters" said so? Just like they said Punk wasn't returning to WWE. How'd that turn out? Sasha could end up elsewhere, sure, but I wouldn't base my assumptions on what wrestling sites have to say.

This stupid shit with Ridge only works if Big E is secretly coming back to squash the fuck out of him.

Disco Inferno is, bar none, the most annoying wrestling personality on Twitter. I actually loved the character back in the day but can't stand his obnoxious social media posts. Still, TK should be way above this. Smooch, smooch! No wonder this guy gets clocked backstage. Disco's first intelligent, logical tweet?

The more things change, the more they stay the same... Yeah, That Indian Guy was definitely saying his prayers and taking his vitamins, but I remember his push fondly. At least it was something different. Facing Randy Orton in three dull matches really didn't do him any favors. It did give us this, though.

If they can get more money from WWE, they should go. In every other respect, it would be a lateral move for them. They're career midcarders, period. No, they can't be more than that - other than maybe a cup of coffee at the top. They've both been exposed badly, and the shine is off. What Andrade did in Mexico doesn't mean he can do the same in U.S. Totally different market and style. Not everyone can cross over like Rey and Eddy. Fun wrestlers, sure, but that's a long line.

My thoughts exactly. The promo didn't knock my socks off, but it was clear he was going the Cody babyface route, just with less sincerity (don't @ me about Cody's "fake crying" - I don't care). The important part of this promo was the seemingly "throwaway" line at the end about being there to make money and not friends. That is the real CM Punk. I think he knows exactly what he's doing and he's playing the long game with his character.

Three hours is still brutal for this show.

Nia Jax matches are a snooze.

QT Marshall is gone. Say what you want about his matches, persona, charisma, whatever, but he was one of the absolute backbones of AEW and one of the few grown-ups there. Big, big loss. Another adult has officially left the room.

Not sure if this makes much if a difference in your mind, but Nick Wayne is 18.

Superman hasn't been hip or relevant as a movie franchise in decades though. At least Black Adam could have been the beginning of something new and cool (I haven't seen the movie yet - I plan to soon). As for Roman, I really doubt Rock would insist on going over - he's the most unselfish major star in the history of wrestling and even put over The Hurricane.
