The Cruiserweight match...wasn't bad. Is Nese supposed to be a babyface though? Because he's about as over as a potato sack.

I'm shockers Cruisers are on the main show. I wonder if Bryan willingly stepped down to the pre-show to give them this.

Terrible match and finish.

What is the endgame with Dominic? Because he just looks like someone's kid, which he is, not an actual wrestler.

Money In The Bank 2019
Unless I missed something, the commentators only referred to The Usos defeating the Smackdown Tag Team Champions (not becoming the champions) and I don't think Usos walked out with the belts Championships at the end.

Money In The Bank 2019
Turned into a decent little sprint at the end, but that's about it. This match certainly won't be on any of their career highlight reels. The wrong team won, and non-title matches are pointless.

Money In The Bank 2019
Middling match so far though. Hope it picks up... These two teams are certainly capable of producing magic.

The Usos are change-the-channel bad as characters. Terrible outfits, horrendous catchphrases, obnoxious personalities.

WWE TV 5/13 - 5/19: Raw is Megaman
Dasha Fuentes explained why she was released from WWE. Even though she was positive and upbeat about the whole thing, working there sounds like a living hell. https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/05/dasha-fuentes-talks-how-roman-reigns-segment-led-to-her-654285/

I don't watch GoT, so I'll be here from the beginning. The pre-show match is seriously odd, not only because it's Raw vs. SD for no reason, but also because it definitely belongs on the main show. I am rooting for a Dana Brooke victory. I don't care if she's not the "best worker" or whatever the "movez" crowd thinks. She's someone new and fresh to push, which can't be said about Bayley, who is still IMO running on her goodwill from NXT for the most part (even though the move to SDL and "split" with Sasha has given her somewhat of a boost). Dana won't win though, so it doesn't matter. I'd also settle for a Nikki Cross victory, but that won't happen either.

The lack of PAC won't make one iota of difference to the PPV's bottom line. Whoever was ordering it still will. If the PPV flops, it'll be because it's $50 and feels like nothing more than a placeholder before the TNT show.

Dark Side of the Ring
Interesting article about a non-Moolah women's wrestler who seems to have had a very long and successful career. http://slam.canoe.com/Slam/Wrestling/GuestColumn/2019/05/08/22797484.html Beverly "The Hammer" Shade probably wasn't famous, but then again, Moolah wouldn't have been either if not for the '80s and '90s WWF comebacks.

I'll counter that: Why have PAC win? Adam Page has the potential to be a major future star and main eventer for them. PAC? Not a star, not a draw, and not someone they should ever cater to in any way if he's making bullshit diva demands before they've even run their first show.

Edit: For some reason, a bunch of new-ish posts about this didn't show up until after I posted. Not sure why. Here is my post anyway... "PAC vs. Adam Page is now off AEW Double or Nothing due to creative differences, according to F4WOnline.com." https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/05/adam-page-vs-pac-is-off-aew-double-or-nothing-card-654258/ Really hope that's not actually true but just something they're saying to build the match and get the smarks riled up and more invested in the feud. From the article: "PAC has been steadfast about staying undefeated for the time being" and cut a promo after a match with Page in England saying "he wouldn't be going to Double or Nothing." If any of that is true, fire PAC and be done with it IMO. While we all agree he could have been used better in WWE, he is not a star, not a draw, and not someone I would take any shit from if I were running a fed. He'll have cool flippy matches, sure, but that's a quota that can be filled by a dozen other guys on the indies with more upside potential. Plus, his name is fucking PAC. What the fuck is that? Everything about his act is awful (and I say that as someone who was actually warming up to him toward the end of his WWE stint - I never saw what the big deal was with him in NXT, but I came around when he turned heel and made Aries his bitch for three PPVs straight).

This is horrible... Long thread, so worth clicking through to the tweet to see the rest. Poor Ashley. Now that we're in the #metoo era, does Vince escape the repercussions so easily this time?

The Young Bucks buried NJPW and ROH in an interview with The Bleacher Report. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2836546-how-aew-was-born-inside-tony-khan-and-the-elites-attempt-to-disrupt-wrestling ROH and NJPW get a free pass by most fans because of their "good rasslin'," but this just goes to show you that both companies are bullshit carnies who don't care about their talent.

Ric Flair (sigh)
I don't think Satin is lying or making anything up - I just think he got fed info from a "source" that differs from what the family is saying. I'd still be more inclined to believe Conrad and Wendy, even if they are downplaying certain aspects of the situation to protect Ric, because they're the ones who would actually know. But yeah, TMZ is shit.
-
Ric Flair (sigh)
Yeah, applying a loaded term like that to wrestling news makes you look like you're so stuck in the bubble, you need someone to drain the bath for you. And for the record, no one has ever said that Flair's heart issues weren't "serious" - just that the word of Wendy and Conrad, actually family members who would be in the know, hold more weight than TMZ or wrestling reporters. Note: You seem to have a complicated history with other posters here, but I don't know you and have no preconceived notions of you - I am only responding to your posts (and others) with my own thoughts.

Dark Side of the Ring
The Wrestlers: Season 1 (VICELAND's next documentary) - 99 cents https://smile.amazon.com/THE-WRESTLERS-Season-1/dp/B07RYWX39R/ As always with Amazon, this price may last only a few hours or it may last a week - who knows. If you're even remotely interested, get it now IMO. Episodes will be added the day after they air. Dark Side of the Ring, as hit-or-miss as it was at times, was certainly worth 99 cents (and then some).

Aren't there rumors that Moolah was a lesbian? (Not that it matters either way. But I think I have heard that about her or at least Mae Young.)
-
Ric Flair (sigh)
So would I. Satin doubling down on both this and the absurd Sasha-Bayley "tantrum on the floor" story is really bizarre.
-
Ric Flair (sigh)
No idea what to make of this. Seems very strange to contradict a report from a family member (Conrad). Heart procedures can be scheduled and planned though. So, it could be what Conrad said, while also being serious - as heart issues are. I personally find this TMZ style of reporting to be rather distasteful.

This is a shocker. Re: Survivor - I only started watching last season with David vs. Goliath because I was curious about Johnny Survivor's chances, and now I'm hooked. Wish I was a fan when Ashley was on the show.
