WWE Survivor Series - War Games - 11/24 - What Do You See?
I smell a giant work with Punk and Seth. There has never been any logical reason for them to have heat. ("Stop tweeting, Seth" on a Fox show no one watched is flimsy.) A WrestleMania match, on the other hand (or at least Rumble), makes a ton of sense. With McIntyre, it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being that he was just selling his anger at his team's loss. Update: I still think it's a work to set up a match.

Actually, Emily from Sportskeeda got the first question. (Yes, I realize this is completely trivial and useless.)

Is it a hot take to say I hate modern NXT/WWE War Games matches? The wrestlers kill themselves, but there's no real feeling of danger or stakes.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
AEW Rampage match was pulled due to talent refusing to lose Metalik vs. Komander was planned for the show. https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/aew-rampage-match-was-pulled-due-to-talent-refusing-to-lose If this is true, fire Metalik. He's a nobody who's never done anything or made an impact anywhere. He's in no position to refuse to do jobs. I understand not wanting to lose two in a row, but that's no excuse to be unprofessional and pull a "That doesn't work for me, brother!" over something so inconsequential.

Punk isn't sniffing the NWA, lol - come on, guys!

NWA reportedly signs TV deal with the CW network
If that Women of Wrestling thing lasted on the CW (or so I assume), I think the NWA will too. But this is about the least exciting announcement and destination I could imagine. Better than YouTube and FITE though, I guess.

AEW TV - 10/10 - 10/14 - For Me It Was Tuesday
Don't wish that on me! I'm on Twitter, but it gets worse every day - not that it was ever good. Not the vibe I got when I was the lone Christian defender on PWO. How quickly we all forget... But Pepperidge Farm remembers, and so does @C.S..

So, is everyone finally waking up to the fact that Christian was always the better half of Edge & Christian?

AEW TV - 10/10 - 10/14 - For Me It Was Tuesday
Could be as simple as Edge Copeland worrying that he'll get in legal hot water - or, worse, have the dreaded HEAT with his former employer - for skirting WWE intellectual property, even though Starks said it.

Christian >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Edge Always has You'd never see cool as a cucumber Christian get upset at anything Ricky Starks, or anyone else, has to say.

AEW TV - 10/10 - 10/14 - For Me It Was Tuesday
Pepperidge Farm remembers that he also completely shit the bed with one of the dullest and most underwhelming runs ever. Maybe there's blame to go all around for that - I don't know - but whatever the reasons are, he sucked in WWE.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Fair or not, TK's tweets this week are making the strongest case possible that the problem there wasn't with Punk. WWE has to be taking notice of that.

I'm legit worried for Tony's mental health now. He's sliding into people's DMs. Coach, if you lurk here, you need someone to manage your tweets, and I am that someone - PM me!

AEW TV - 10/10 - 10/14 - For Me It Was Tuesday
And you do? This! Not sure if it's something in the air or some vibe I'm putting out, but this week alone, I've run into two of the most idiotic conversations I've ever had here. Neither were with longtime, respected, good posters, with whom I occasionally disagree (and vice versa) but always cordially.

I always heard Bischoff was Jewish (he could be a German Jew), but even if that's inaccurate, your post painting him as an antisemite is ridiculous and completely without merit. Bischoff comments on it here: https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1998-10-11-1998284214-story.html In a nutshell, he wasn't going to exploit Goldberg's ethnicity - or anyone else's.

Great interview with Colby Corino here. Confirms that there was in fact a WWE hiring freeze.

Can't wait for Lexis King to win King of the Ring.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I hope this is another false rumor I've been swindled by. Brian Pillman Jr. is now - ugh - Lexis King. It's named after his late sister and mother, so it's meaningful to him, but still...

AEW TV - 10/4 - 10/7 - Spooky Seazon Begins
Regal is the only exception I can recall Tony ever making. Not counting the 1-2 people he fired or let go for outside issues (Jimmy Havoc, etc.) who never popped up in the E after.

AEW TV - 10/4 - 10/7 - Spooky Seazon Begins
Or the guy shouting SHAWN > BRET at Wheeler! Seriously though, I hope we do end up finding out more about the case. 99% of the wrestling media aren't actual journalists (and I'm probably being very generous by allowing a number as high as 1% in there), so it's entirely possible further details are never reported on.

WWF announcing debate mega-thread
I know Dave shit all over them, but Gorilla Monsoon, Lord Alfred Hayes, and Sean Mooney were all infinitely more listenable (is that a word?) than Michael Cole, because they at least sounded like real people with real emotions. WWE Prime Time Wrestling filler matches with Mooney and Lord Al on commentary just bantering about utter nonsense - like the pronunciation of Kato - remain happy memories from my childhood.

AEW TV - 10/4 - 10/7 - Spooky Seazon Begins
While I agree it sounds weird, I am hesitant to victim blame (I'm NOT suggesting this is what you're doing) and question his timing. Again, I come back to, what does anyone have to gain by making an outlandish allegation against a nobody like Wheeler? He's barely famous in wrestling circles and completely unknown outside of it. I mean, yeah, people do strange things every day, but I dunno. I see the guy doing the CM Punk troll gimmick just replied. Not even gonna bother with that nonsense. Is there a block button here?
