Joe is terrible and has been for years. We still see brief sparks from him (his last match with AJ was awesome), but he's a sluggish sloth 99% of the time.

This match is proof that Smackdown is and always will be a second-class citizen. It warrants the Cell far more than Roman-Strowman, so of course that match gets it instead. Plus, has a Smackdown World Title match ever closed the show when the worthless, useless, Raw Universal title was also being defended?

Weird finish, and why on earth would the ref hesitate to count the pin? Not a great match, but definitely a few memorable moments.

Pretty sure Michaels recently said he wouldn't want to wrestle an AJ type because expectations would be too high and he can no longer have the kind of match fans would be expecting. Whereas, with one of his old veteran buddies, they can work smart and hide their deficiencies by telling a good story.

Unpopular opinion: I would've approached Bischoff's table (especially if it was empty and therefore more convenient for me) and wouldn't have bothered with Dave/Bryan. This is not meant to be a knock against them - I respect their work - I guess I just don't see the big deal in getting a sheet writer's autograph. (Granted, I think autographs in general are pretty stupid and pointless, but for the sake of this hypothetical, we'll pretend I care about them.) I don't believe the HBK rumors, BTW. Maybe I'm wrong, but all of this (IMO) is simply to give an HHH-Taker match a reason to exist in 2018.

The Miz face turn was the shits, but that's because they did it several years too late and with the worst possible foil in a heatless ADR. I contend that if they had done it right after he lost the World Title, with that smug jock-ass Alex Riley turning on Miz, it would've worked out. Before you argue that Riley wasn't exactly a ball of fire, well, that's true - but remember, Miz had everyone thinking Damien Sandow was something special, and look how that turned out the minute Sandow went to TNA without any character, personality, or WWE bag o' tricks and was completely exposed as average in every way.

Bryan's return was botched from the jump. No one wanted him in a heatless tag match with Shane McMahon against KO and SZ. Then there was the Cass feud... But it's possible, I guess, that they're trying to make lightning strike twice by presenting him as an underused underdog again.

I actually have seen that, but only once and it's been many years.

Which Denzel movie was this? I don't remember him saying that in any of his movies. (Granted, I haven't seen every Denzel movie.)
