  1. Are we sure they're not two old carnies working a feud?
  2. Can you ask him to not drink and tweet?

Glad you said something - I thought it was only me. I had to quote Phil's original post just to get the link.

In what appears to be absolutely abysmal quality. The Network version has to look better than that...right? Anyway, I stand by what I said before - it surely won't be a "five-star classic," but it sounds like an intriguing match and I think people will gravitate toward it.
  5. C.S. replied to NickH's topic in WWE
I personally don't see what everyone is bitching about. Will it be a great match? Well, no, but seeing Kane vs. a pre-Batista Leviathan in a monster mash-up sounds pretty intriguing to me.
  6. The beginning of the end? Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard 29 mins · Heads up STW fans! No #SomethingElseToWrestle on the WWE Network, today. Bruce and Conrad shot the show this past weekend but “creative differences” are going to keep us off the air today. We’re fighting for us, the fans. Tune in this Friday for WWE’s ECW. _____ Video from Conrad: https://twitter.com/HeyHeyItsConrad/status/1004418487706677248
  7. These are the tweets: Not an insult exactly, but definitely immature and misguided. His entire Twitter seems like a drunken Southern shitshow. As far as Twitter goes, it seems that "working feuds" and "feeding the trolls" is what attracts attention, unfortunately. We've seen it from Meltzer and others too. Not my cup of tea at all, but there must be some "business" reason for doing this, right? (As Sorrow also pointed out right above my post.) With that said, Jerry Jarrett's experience and knowledge, and his status as the "last man standing" in the territories, should make for an incredible podcast. As long as the podcast is nothing like his Twitter, or his "humor" is limited to small doses, the sky is the limit IMO.
  8. I like the polls, but I wish this one was more specific. A simple yes or no poll doesn't seem nuanced enough.
  9. I wouldn't want to see this, simply because it would allow WWE to too often second-guess its chosen winner, make that victory meaningless, and pinball the briefcase around. I don't trust WWE to be organized or disciplined enough to make this anything other than a huge train-wreck. I've always been of two minds about that situation. 1. It showed Triple H at his pettiest and most insecure. Not a good look for either him or WWE. 2. With that said, the trainee should have known better than to put up a wrestler from a rival company. If he had no clue that he was going to potentially work for WWE if he won Tough Enough, he shouldn't have been there in the first place. In any case, it was probably all staged reality show bullshit anyway and really not something that merits the deeper discussion we're giving it.
  10. Something Else to Wrestle With: John Cena (WWE Network version) According to Bruce Prichard, he: - Discovered - Signed - Saved the career of John Cena In all seriousness, he wasn't quite that braggadocios about it. He did say that "Cena made Cena." Overall, even though the arguments between Prichard and Conrad were faker than ever, I still laughed more during this episode than I have during any of the others. Their banter is entertaining. Conrad tried to compare the Cena stabbing angle to Bruiser Brody, but unless I missed it, they failed to link the reason why such a comparison would be made in the first place: Carlito being "responsible" for the stabbing. Fun show, with the biggest takeaway being how disorganized and haphazard the "Ruthless Aggression" era was because of Vince's constantly changing whims. They've pitched a "controversial show" for next week but aren't sure if they'll get permission to do it. What could that be? TNA? Chyna? Something else?

Not what I was asking though... Is there a way to see the new additions listed together on the WWE Network service itself?
  13. Seth Freakin' Rollins lived up to his name of Freakin' by freakin' out in an interview when he said the Under-Freakin'-Taker should freakin' retire. The Freakin' Interviewer: "Should The Undertaker retire?" 14. I think it's worth it. Ironically though, the board has been purring like a kitten since last night.
  15. C.S. replied to NickH's topic in WWE
Is there a way to see a list of only the new ones on WWE Network instead of having to scroll through all of them and look for the yellow "Recently Added" banner?
  16. For the past couple of hours, I've had trouble loading the site and usually only get the Cloudfare backup page after about a solid minute. Is it just me? Obviously, there are temporary periods of uptime. I was hoping this was because of a software update or something, but I guess not.
  17. Was there any downtime on this board, or was it just me?
  18. I've been a fan of theirs in every incarnation. I'm not sure the Tex Slazenger-Shanghai Pierce version of the team qualify as a "guilty pleasure" though.
  19. C.S. replied to NickH's topic in WWE
I remember when they had a match at a PPV - maybe KOTR? - and Jericho flipped after Wade Keller criticized it. I don't recall what I thought of the match, but I'm guessing it probably wasn't anything special in my mind since the Keller anecdote is my only lasting memory of it.
  20. On the WWE Network Russo episode, actually. Paraphrasing: "I haven't done pills in fifteen years and take only the occasional drink." I think it came up because Conrad suggested Russo would question Prichard's memory because of past substance issues.
  21. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/user/BeINsportUSA/playlists
  22. True, but I didn't get the impression that Prichard hates Russo.
  23. Yeah I forgot to mention that, good point CS. Conrad was clearly promoting Russo's podcast and Network, he mentioned it a few times in detail. It sure sounded like he was plugging him, which also made me suspicious about the whole thing being some sort of "work." Yeah, like Bix said, it's probably just a case of Conrad wanting to do a podcast with Russo - or it could as simple as something for Starrcast. Truthfully, Conrad has no reason not to want to do a podcast with Russo. It's more money for him. They're all workers anyway, so I doubt it much matters if Russo is "enemies" with other people Conrad does podcasts with. Business is business.
  24. Hopefully I saved you two hours of your life. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but it's easily the worst of the Network podcasts so far. I'd recommend Piper and DiBiase, but not this one. I've never listened to any of the podcasts, and this one was still an easy miss. But don't diss Vince Russo's unibrow...bro!
