King of the Ring 2015
Barrett vs. Neville. No surprise there. Heel Kings are usually better, but I'm pulling for Neville anyway.

Won't hurt him either though, especially if he wins the whole thing (longshot, but you never know).

Bad Gimmick Made Good/That You Enjoyed
Good call. Can't believe I didn't mention this myself. Mankind would be another one. Seemed so cartoonish and ridiculous compared to Cactus Jack, but Mick Foley made it work. Same with Dude Love, to a lesser degree, I guess. Agreed. Darsow was awesome in any role.

Bad Gimmick Made Good/That You Enjoyed
Repo Man: It was cheesy as hell and never rose past lower midcard, but Barry Darsow embraced the hell out of it and made it work. Papa Shango: Beware of voodoo, beware of Papa Shango, hahaha! Like Darsow, Charles Wright embraced this character. It also helps that he had a push with the goo/vomiting stuff (which I thought was terrible-awesome), feuds with Warrior and Hogan, etc. Does The Undertaker count? If you think about it, that gimmick in anyone else's hands would've been dead on arrival. Yes, bad pun very much intended.

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
I didn't mind the match or the ending. I just hope this non-controversial "controversy" the announcers were erroneously hyping up - Rollins using the RKO even though it was banned for Orton - doesn't mean we're getting a Rollins/Orton rematch.

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
Bo may possibly be the most awkward in ring guy they have. I hardly see how he deserves better. You just need to...BO-LIEVE!

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
Same old shit with Ryback. His mic/catchphrase routine during matches or segments is so rote, mechanical, and stale. Poor Bo. He deserves better. Then again, you can argue he at least got a segment on the PPV, which is more than someone like Zach Ryder can say.

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
Great match (surprisingly), but kind of a dumb finish. Still, it's a "moment" they can replay over and over and will look good in still pics on WWE.com, so I understand it.

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
Maybe they're for the ring crew that has to take down & load the truck after the show is over? Since it'd be later in the night after people already left, so they might not be able to get catering drinks anymore. Maybe, but those drinks would be room temperature...yuck. Surely someone can set up a mini-fridge for the poor ring crew?

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
Why are there drinks under the ring?

Naomi should've won, but that match was bad.

Well...derp, that fucking sucked.

Extreme Rules 2015 As It Happens...
New Day vs. Cesaro-Kidd was way more fun than it had any right to be. Match of the night? Anyone disappointed that we didn't actually see Ambrose and Harper fighting on the streets of Chi-Town? Attitude era bullshit, maybe, but it would be so different compared to what we usually see these days.

Extreme Rules Predictions
Yeah, there's no way Harper wins here. He's not that over or protected. Ambrose gets this easily.

"The Wrong Guy Went Over"
I disagree about Ryback/Punk. Should Ryback have lost so much? Maybe not. But the real and bigger problem is that he shouldn't have been put into that position in the first place. He could've been kept apart from Punk and continued to gain momentum against other challengers. Ryback/Henry is another weird one. Henry was the challenger after Ryback though.

"The Wrong Guy Went Over"
HHH beating CM Punk was a real head-scratcher to me. Obviously, Punk is gone now (and this is probably one of the reasons why), but he was white hot at the time and should have in no way lost to a then-lukewarm H.

Your confessions as a wrestling fan
Some of these have been mentioned already, but they deserve to be seconded (or more): - I love The Miz and think he'll be WWE World Heavyweight Champion again one day. He is the perfect representative for the company. - I loved the Hogan/Slaughter feud, angles and all. I was fascinated by Slaughter's rationale for turning heel. Heel Slaughter was my first favorite wrestler. - I've always loved Bradshaw - as a wrestler. I liked his commentary at first, but he became unbearable when he started (seemingly) going into business for himself and burying people he didn't like - Miz, MVP, ECW wrestlers, etc. - Original undead Undertaker is still my favorite - Dustin/Goldust is the best Rhodes. - LOD and The Steiners are two of the most overrated and underwhelming tag teams I've ever seen. - I dug the fuck out of The Quebecers, The New Foundation, and The New Blackjacks (but hated High Energy, The New Rockers, and The New Midnight Express) - I loved me some Papa Shango, IRS, Repo Man, etc. - Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce ruled - Paul Roma was a good Horseman and good in general (Power and Glory was cool as hell) - The Raven character was always terrible. Scotty Levy was never even remotely convincing in that role. - Stevie Richards is one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. I could go on and on, but that's enough for now.

I should probably clarify what I meant... I was mainly referring to people who "weren't there at the time" and are only watching these matches years after the fact. (Obviously, that doesn't really apply to Sting/HHH...yet.) Yeah, my post wasn't clear at all. I'm not big on rewatching matches, but I suspect I'd have the same reaction you did. If I liked something at the time, even if it was from when I was a kid, I tend to still like it now because the nostalgia factor fills me with good memories and makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Early Hall of Fame 2016 Predictions
Did this WrestleMania teach you nothing? Sting won't ever be the HOF headliner (IMO). I could easily see him going in the same year as Taker, who would headline. Like it or not, WWE obviously doesn't see Sting the way of the majority of his fans do.

Early Hall of Fame 2016 Predictions
Sting is another strong possibility.
