WWE TV 05/02 - 05/08 I miss Persia Pirotta
LOL. Oh Lord... What an unfortunate typo. I'll leave it uncorrected though, because you already quoted it.

I assume this is who sex69 is referring to in the OP: Edit: Didn't see the post right above this one.

Triplemania XXX 4/30/22 (Part 1of 3)
Because I didn't see the show and wanted to know if it happened?

Triplemania XXX 4/30/22 (Part 1of 3)
Did this actually happen? I see nothing in the thread about it. Nothing would get me to boycott Forbidden Door quicker than this toxic asshole getting a spot on it. Can't imagine why there'd be interest from either side. Maybe a few years ago, Braun/Scherr might have been a "get" for NJPW, but certainly not now.

MAMMA MIA! I think Good Brother @sek69 would a better fit for the TNT division, and while I manage him to that title, I can also manage Christian to the World Title - with the golden tones of Mauro Ranallo on commentary for both victories. Despite cancelling all fictional programming, Discovery would immediately offer AEW a new 10-year deal for more money if that happened!

Still a difference between that and "as over as The Rock." Come on now, Bubba. Plus, reminder: Blue Pants got insane reactions from the NXT crowd. Let's not overthink it. Vince clearly doesn't respect their reactions or think it translates to the wider WWE, and he may not be wrong in some respects.

WWE TV 4/25-5/1 Hey Asuka's back
What?! Hyperbole much? If he was over like The Rock, he would've been called up months ago and used as a wrestler. He has never, at any point in his entire career, been as over as The Rock. No, in his entire life. He's not as over as The Rock in his own family! That doesn't mean his current usage isn't baffling - it is - but at the same time, he's an aging wrestler who is average in the ring but above average on the mic, so I can kind of understand the mindset of using him as a mouthpiece.

I feel bad for Jade having to deal with racist idiots like this. Basically, before deleting the tweet, he railed against her "hip hop character" (even though there's zero hip hop in her presentation). Then he doubled down and used the word "uppity." Schmuck!

Dustin is so good that I thought his selling was a legit injury.
-
AEW TV - April 20/22, 2022
Has Dustin worn this gear before or is it new and a nod/tribute to the American Nightmare? Either way, it's liiiiitt - as the kids today probably said five years ago.

WWE TV 04/18 - 04/24 The Phoenix Suns are hella good
Sonya has barely wrestled in a year, so it's probably more ring rust than intentional sandbagging.

WWE TV 04/18 - 04/24 The Phoenix Suns are hella good
I hope WWE does something completely random with the main event like bring back Damien Sandow to be Cody's opponent, but we all know it will be a boring choice or a bait-and-switch angle to further the Seth feud.

Surprised there's not more backlash to this here. Scorpio got a throwaway token reign, and we're back to Sammy again after two underwhelming reigns when he could've easily turned heel without regaining the title. In fact, not regaining it would've been a fine impetus for a heel turn.- All Elite Wrestling
I assume this will be the big announcement:- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
Disagree. He has clearly lost weight since his AEW debut - where, yeah, he was bigger than he's been in years.- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
If Jade somehow loses to an NXT jobber...oof. Yep, don't care if Marina Shafir is the 2nd or 3rd most dangerous woman in the world IRL - that's not how she has been presented thus far - and while AEW can certainly change that, rushing her into a title match isn't suddenly going to undo her current perception or make her seem more important than she actually is. She's just a body to feed to Cargill anyway, which is 100% the right choice, so it doesn't matter in the short term.- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
FTR could have an excellent match with Great Khali and Omos. ReDragon is technically capable for sure - they're good carpenters - they just don't excite me on any level.- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
At least it wasn't Adam Scherr.- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
I hope it's a streaming deal with HBO Max.- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
Probably for the best. ReDragon vs. FTR for the titles would be seen as a match between "NXT castoffs." Not my opinion - just what you know anti-AEW idiots would say. Never mind that both teams weren't there at the same time.- AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
I mistimed things and missed the first ten minutes of the Punk-Penta opener - bummer - but I liked what I saw. I have a bad feeling the bland ReDragon will win the Tag Team Titles tonight from Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus. I sure hope not. - AEW TV - April 13/15, 2022
