WWE TV 09/13 - 09/19 NXT 2.0 debut and Monday Night Football massacre
A demon version of Harley Quinn is going to be favored by a lot of incels fans.

If Big E had any brains, he'd cash in right now after that RKO on the All Mighty!

I'm watching tonight too. I fully expect WWE to fuck this up, but I hope they don't.

AEW Dynamite - Sept 8 2021
I have no objection to him jumping to AEW if that is what will make him happy, but El Generico needs to be firmly in the rearview mirror outside of the occasional special appearance and pop it would get. Maybe it can be used sporadically like a lighter version of Finn Balor's "Demon" persona?

Really hope the current Sami Zayn is smart enough not to go back to this cornball gimmick full-time. The occasional appearance for a pop, yes, but he has evolved way past this IMO.

PCO has given his notice. He'll be gone from ROH by December. https://www.mandatory.com/wrestlezone/news/1254459-report-pco-gives-notice-plans-to-leave-roh-when-contract-expires-on-12-1

Oh, Seth... Big E is a class act though.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
I'll give Gargano credit. A year ago, he was at his absolute stalest. He has since successfully reinvented himself with The Way and his goofy heel antics. Ciampa remains tired though.

So, basically a less interesting Tony Nese? (Who himself isn't interesting at all.)

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Long interview with Jonathan Coachman revealing that he was sabotaged by the insecure Corey Graves and demoted because he had to take certain weeks off for golf, which the company was informed about from the beginning and agreed to. I won't sit here and say Coach was any great shakes, but this really puts Graves and WWE in a bad light. Not that any of this should come as a surprise, because it doesn't. https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/jonathan-coachman-explains-why-he-left-wwe-says-corey-graves-didn-t-want-him-there

Not sure how she thinks this is supposed to help her husband's career. If I'm Tony Khan, Cage gets squashed hard to Marko Stunt now. Hey, I never said I wasn't petty. Seriously though, until AEW, Cage had never been anywhere or done anything outside the indies (and yes, I consider Impact and LU indies), so how much of a "superstar" can he really be? That word is so overused and misused these days. Out of everyone who is being featured in AEW right now, who exactly should be pushed aside for Brian What's-His-Name? Even someone like PAC (who we all know I love and cherish) has more of a compelling reason to be given those precious seven minutes of airtime.

AEW Dynamite - Sept 8 2021
Still don't understand why the hell they're moving to TBS in the first place... Really feels like some stuck-up snooty WarnerMedia exec somewhere is getting cold feet about "that fake rasslin' stuff." I hope not!

AEW All Out 2021 - September 5, 2021
What is there to nitpick though? Services like BR and Fite weren't around 22 years ago. The landscape was different. Today, ordering a show over the internet is the norm. Cable boxes are passé.

That felt...rushed.

AEW Dynamite - Sept 8 2021
Hopefully Brandon Cutler and Gallows & Anderson. None of the real Elite should be fed.

AEW Dynamite - Sept 8 2021
Is it just me or is Omega "ordering" Cole out of the ring not exactly the best look?

AEW Dynamite - Sept 8 2021
Gallows and Anderson reek nWo B-Team energy.

AEW Dynamite - Sept 8 2021
This trio match lost me. It's fine, I'm sure. Maybe I'm just tired. But I have very little reason to care.

I was expecting a squash, honestly. I'm surprised Dustin is getting so much offense in.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Face facts: That's exactly what Impact is now - a place for bland big men and lower WWE midcarders to reinvent themselves. It sounds like you haven't watched WWE in a while though (not that I blame you). Corbin has been - dare I say - one of the highlights of the show. Faint praise here too, but Hager has never, ever been as good as Corbin is right now. Edit: Does this mean I think AEW should hire Corbin? No. But he'd be a much better and more valuable "get" than a stiff like Jake Hager, that's for sure.

Corbin is a guy who would probably be better off going to Impact, but if AEW can hire and justify Jake Hager with a straight face, Corbin is a demonstrable upgrade.

AEW All Out 2021 - September 5, 2021
I don't think that would've been a bad idea at all. Remember, the pre-show was free for anyone to watch, and seeing such a big, hot debut like that might have enticed some last-minute buys. As fun as the ten-man tag was in a clustery sort of way, I doubt it had the same effect for anyone who might have been on the fence about ordering the show.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
AEW would and absolutely should go after Keith Lee and Chad Gable if they were ever made available. I love Tozawa, but I think a guy like that would need to rehab himself in Impact first. I wouldn't mind seeing him in NJPW either (like Juice Robinson).

Rumors from Ringside News, so take them with a giant pitcher of salt: https://www.cagesideseats.com/2021/9/7/22660023/rumor-roundup-sept-7-2021-vince-misses-raw-wwe-reacts-daniel-bryan-adam-cole-pitch-cody-bray-wyatt If even remotely true, WWE's incompetence is staggering.

This is a ridiculous take after one match.
