WWE TV 05/24 - 05/30 Ja Morant is the greatest person in Memphis ever
Which is why I didn't suggest Kenny as the "alternate answer" because that brings about its own set of controversies and disagreements. But is it too much to ask for a guy to put his own company over? Apparently so. J.R. could've said Christian, been 100% correct, and not sounded like he was burying AEW.

Todd Phillips has a rep for being a backstage politician. Kyle Edwards' (Arda Ocal) wife said something to that effect after he was released. Wonder if ol' Toad played games to get Virk ousted. If so, we'll probably see him back in the chair. To be honest, Toad is a completely inoffensive choice - bland and unmemorable but doesn't actively make the show worse either.

Insane conspiracy theory: With Jim Ross idiotically calling Randy Orton the best wrestler in the world instead of, ya know, someone from his own fucking company (okay, we'll pretend to appreciate his "honesty"), could Good Ol' J.R. be preparing to move back to WWE? Raw could certainly use someone right about now.

Assholes rarely think they're assholes. That's why they're assholes.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Road Dogg put his foot in his mouth - again. He has since deleted it, but here's a screengrab from Wrestling Inc.:

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Even grosser if it's a male Peeping Tom. The WWE artist guy unloads on Velveteen Dream:

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
What a lunatic. Why would Drake expect anything else?
-
Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
This suggests Drake was racist too, on top of everything else. Wow.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
More than likely, Drake lasted longer in his job than he would have otherwise because they knew they could roll him into this round of cuts. Doesn't explain why Velveteen Dream still has a job though.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I wonder if Marina Shafir is safe because of her connection to Roddy Strong, or if they're both really on their way out the door?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Add Jessamyn Duke and Vanessa Bourne to that list. Edit: Kavita Devi too. Kinda shocked about Jessamyn. Figured she was safe because of Ronda and the possibility of an eventual 4 Horsewomen vs. 4 Horsewomen match. Of course, they can always bring her back for that as a one-shot. If Bruce Hart can work a WWE PPV, why not Jessamyn?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I sincerely hope Drake gets the help he needs, but with enablers like Road Dogg (who should also be canned IMO, which I hate to say because I like him) and his wife, I fear he's just going to keep going down this road and consider himself a martyr because he was released "for his beliefs." Jake Clemons (another ref) was reportedly also released. Edit: Also Alexander Wolfe, Skyler Story (Ava Storie), and Ezra Judge.

Way Of The Blade: 100 of the Greatest Bloody Matches in Wrestling History
Thanks. Since there's no difference, I went ahead and got it on Kindle. I have no idea who the hell Michel Chaisne or Adolf Kaiser are, but that chapter from the sample hooked me anyway. I really like your writing style, and the art is awesome. Looking ahead, I was surprised to see Lightning Kid vs. Jerry Lynn on the list. I didn't remember that having blood. Such a cool idea for a book. I hope you do very well with it.

Rey Mysterio Jr.
Best WWE match Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode have ever been in? It has my vote.

Way Of The Blade: 100 of the Greatest Bloody Matches in Wrestling History
This looks amazing. One question: The art in the Kindle version is B&W. Is it also B&W for the paper version, or is it in color there? Just to be clear, I love B&W art - I'm just wondering if it's the same in both. Thanks!

WWE Wrestlemania Backlash Strikes Back!
I'm calling it now: Jimmy will become Bitch #2 to Roman and cost Cesaro the match.
-
WWE Wrestlemania Backlash Strikes Back!
My heart wants Cesaro to win but my head realizes it's way too soon to take the title off of Roman.

WWE Wrestlemania Backlash Strikes Back!
Thank God that's over. Typical heatless WWE "hardcore" garbage-style match. Seen one, seen them all.

WWE Wrestlemania Backlash Strikes Back!
I do not care at all about this match. Braun is a yawn, and I've gotten my fill of pointless rematches with zero drama or doubt.

Botched finish? Bayley looked like she kicked out.
