The F4W Board and the Torch board were like night and day from my limited experiences, because Wade always had a strict policy of moderation in place unlike F4W. It's one of the things Wade clearly did much better than Dave, cultivating a community on his board and engaging with them in a cordial, friendly manner. I'll take the F4W board any day. Back when I had a Torch sub, their board was a ghost town and I assume it's worsened since.

I think Bryan has been... better of late. Though there was all the stupid hijack~! talk post-Rumble.

That's exactly what I was talking about. One of my co-workers was at the Main Event when the Mega Powers broke up, so we talk about stuff like that. And I'll wear things like the I Broke Wahoo's Leg shirt to work. There's no chance in hell I would wear a John Cena shirt or something, even if I like him.

I mostly hide that I watch the current WWE stuff. If I am talking wrestling on Facebook, or something, it's in a private group. I'm more open with my love of old school stuff, because there are a lot of people who have nostalgia for it and it can be a conversation piece. I also don't take it serious in situations that it does come up. I'm pretty self-deprecating when it comes to my love of wrestling, and I'm sure a lot of fans have become deft at using that tactic to diffuse situations. If someone's already dismissed wrestling, you know better than to try to convert them or explain why you love it.

Just don't judge the show after episode 1. It gets better...way better. I actually had no real interest in seeing the footage before I started listening to the show. I mainly just like Parv's schtick so I listened to the show. However, after listening to it (some eps multiple times), it made me want to see it. The show's that enjoyable.
