Are they broadcasting the Jacksonville show anywhere? At least on Fite? Need to see that Dustin match just in case he does actually retire.

I think it's a big part of why a lot of WWE matches in the modern era wind up being forgettable.

Cody/Dustin was incredible. Even better than I expected. Was a really good show for the most part. I didn’t love Jericho/Omega, especially compared to their first match that I thought was great. Liked the Best Friends match a lot and thought the show really took off after that match.

Yeah, I am most curious to see if Dustin can get a good match out of him. The only stuff I cared for at all in the hype show was Dustin’s work for this match. Card as a whole is quite underwhelming but I’ll probably snag this tomorrow and watch it on Monday. When Jim Ross comes out, that’s my cue to bail.

To me, the idea of them going for a “real sports presentation” with AEW is silly and I hope it’s just Jim Ross talking like a moron. I did watch the Before the Bell hype show and thought it was pretty cringey most of the time, aside from the Dustin Rhodes part. If someone had told me five years ago that the Bucks were going to have their own promotion, I would have been head over heels. I’m a lot more leery about what this will wind up being because of a lot of the other old carnies involved but at the end of the day I hope they all take a bunch of money from the rich kid, if nothing else.

This has basically drained my current wrestling viewing to nil. The last year or so of signings has pulled so many of the people I love to watch out of the indies. I feel so glad now that I went to Mania 34 weekend and got to see so many shows. I felt at the time that it might be the last Mania weekend of its kind and it sure looks like it was, at least until WWE hopefully has a bad quarter and fires everyone.

I have been to a few of the house shows and they are always a fun time. You usually get some really good matches. It’s a really good crew of wrestlers who are going to bust their asses to have a good show.

Turning Braun was my “fuck this” moment. The only bits of Raw I have watched since was when Roman came back and when I heard Heavy Machinery was up.

I don’t think there’d be any chance he’d go to AEW, so that’s a headscratcher if it is actually true. The exact fans that are AEW’s base are the ones who have run Elgin out of the states in the first place.

Really glad I didn’t go to this Mania weekend. It looked like a nightmare to begin with.

There is zero chance of Becky’s win matching that.

She looked like she had been crying until I realized it was the make-up.

Pretty good show. I listened to the French Revolution one recently and then started on Age of Napoleon, which is a really great show, IMO.

The duration was definitely the strong suit of the match. Actually thought Brock might have been able to get a good match out of him with the shape he was in.

Never thought I would be pulling for Brock Lesnar but here we are.

He had zero bookings last Mania weekend, as well. I think the last major booking he had in the states was with AAW in early 2018, and that was basically because he got Naito in to work that show. The crowd turned on him and that was that.

He’s pretty toxic in the states. Best bet is that he just runs a school and maybe works for one of the lesser Japanese companies.

Honestly remarkable anyone has made it this long.
