AEW TV - 9/7-9/9 - Who Throws A Chair, Honestly
It was dumb to take the belt off of Mox in the first place.

Wish Hangman/DO were in the trios match.

We Don't Know Wrestling SUPERTHREAD!
Even though I liked All Out (for the most part) and enjoy AEW in general more than you, enjoyed the taeks a lot here.

Please no more fucking belts.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I uttered the phrase “WCW speed run” earlier.

Are we sure Starks is there to stay, though? He could easily head to the Fed.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
They look like a joke with it being (IMO) a shoot. They'd look like even more of a joke if it's not.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Colt's a massive douche. He and Punk are birds of a feather.

I never watch live but I will be watching this Very Special Episode.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
For real the possibility of FTR leaving with Punk is the only hesitation I have about just hoping he's gone.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Punk's condescension re: Hangman is comical. He's 10+ years into the business, not Billie Starkz.

AEW All Out - 9/4 - Live On PPV
Realistically that ladder match was more angle than match and that pretty much sucks.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I would say SRS and Dave are the go-to's on this.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
The "EVP" thing has been way overstated. It's not like they have some immense level of power. They're not even middle management. It's a designation without any power as a nod to them being there on the ground floor.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
No doubt there. Even though (IMO) it didn't begin as a work, some elements should become part of one.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
To me the fact that Colt Cabana is involved in it made me pretty certain of that from the start. It’s not like Punk is going to do a PPV program with him or that a business-altering level of fans give a shit about Colt. I assume his MJF comments were all work but aside from that I don’t see any business potential from the scrum tirade other than Page selling an empty-headed fuckwad (or whatever Punk called him) shirt.

WWE Brain: Defining and Changing the Melodramatic Narrative
Wow, I am glad to not be in spaces where people say the Bucks or Omega never drew a dime.

WWE TV 09/05 - 09/11 Cody Rhodes, the smartest man in wrestling
In hindsight, Cody leaving AEW should have set off a lot more alarm bells than it did.

With KOR having had neck fusion, they can just wait a year and sign Roddy and have a far better version of UE without the headache of Fish. Not like you can do anything with a solo Bobby Fish for a year.

AEW All Out - 9/4 - Live On PPV
From the live perspective, it was a fun show. Obviously not All Out 2021 but the crowd never *completely* died, that I noticed. The Jade match was pretty awful but that’s still kind of a given at this point. Jericho/Bryan was pretty heatless, sadly. I don’t think I have ever experienced a hotter crowd than during the Acclaimed match. Absolutely off the charts. That was my MOTN, followed by the trios final. Crowd was quite rabid at times during the Punk match but the way it played out really made the TV match pointless and more of a headscratcher. Fifteen matches was definitely too much, but it felt well-paced from my seat in the arena. It’s essentially their Wrestlemania so I get that they wanted to squeeze more people onto the card. It was the fifth AEW PPV I’ve attended in person (all of the Chicago ones) and I’d probably rank it 5th.

Was at the show last night and then we watched the scrum in the hotel once we got to the room. What a fucking surreal experience.

AEW TV - 8/24 - 8/26 - Shenanigans Afoot
I’m expecting a Punk heel turn. I’ll be there but can’t say I’m all that excited for it. Just means it will be easy for them to exceed my expectations.

“What if it’s Vince Russo but done by a guy we like?”

AEW Forbidden Door - When the door is actually forbidden and we are just tempting fate
God what a fun show to be in attendance for. It wasn’t as incredible of an atmosphere as All Out was last year but it wasn’t far off. Also had a total blast at the Warrior show earlier in the afternoon.
