I thought the doc was really light. Not bad, but I would have liked more depth to it.

The show should have just been a two hour Cena/Owens special with a bunch of hype and maybe an undercard tag title match or something.

I'm super excited for this because of Owens/Cena. Two of my absoloute favorites over the past few years, and I think they'll have a really good match. I definitely hope the crowd is with them because this could be so great for Owens. The rest of the card looks pretty decent, too.

Agreed completely. I think it's mostly nostalgia for The Genius that made him so beloved before. He just always struck me as very uncoordinated/unathletic. The Mizdow character was fun, though.

More audio, mainly. I usually just sub when he runs a coupon code and grab all the Bruce Mitchell shows that I missed. Wade is also (IMO) a very good interviewer, especially compared to a guy like Alvarez that knows less about wrestling history than most people here, so I also grab any of the interviews he did while I was gone that look interesting. I re-subbed when they ran a Todd Martin coupon code and have liked the stuff that he and Wade have done together, as well. I also enjoy not having to wade (no pun intended) through a bunch of MMA hot takes that I have no interest in. If I want MMA talk, I listen to people like Jordan Breen and Jack Encaracao at Sherdog, etc. because I think they do a far better job and it's free. Of course, there are many valid issues about the Torch that people (myself included) have voiced in this thread, as well. I don't read anything aside from the occasional Bruce Mitchell column, so I have no idea how good the newsletter is these days. I think Wade just transcribes his hotlines/recaps.

Very few left. Family Video is the only chain that I know of in my area. Otherwise, I think Redbox is what most people use to rent physical discs.

I grew up in a town of 175 people (legit) that had a gas station that rented tapes. They usually just had a few WWF shows. I was able to get a lot more in the next town over, though pickings were still pretty slim, and no WCW. Once wrestling got hot, tapes were easier to come by, but my dad and I were already ordering every PPV by that point. Obviously, I taped all of them. I grew up almost entirely dependent on weekly TV, pre-1996/7, or so.

Great idea. I watch more stuff on YouTube on my Apple TV than I watch on my DirecTV.
