The British Bulldogs
Bulldogs were a part of the first American wrestling match I ever saw, vs Hart Foundations from Boston Gardens - was shown on World of Sport instead of British Wrestling sometime in the mid 80's....opened my eyes to a whole new world that I never knew existed.

Ultimate Warrior
He has no place on a list like this. Curious to know on what grounds he was nominated.

Hiroshi Hase
Going purely from memory, to me Hase was the #2 NJ heavyweight of the 90's behind Hashimoto. Always a guy I was really high on and a guy who would always bring something great to a match. As a fan, his ability and work never resulting in an 'appropriate' push was most frustrating. Look forward to watching a lot of his stuff again, but if my memory has not failed me, an absolute cert for my top 25.

Michael Hayes
Early to mid 80's Michael Hayes is one of my favourite things in wrestling. That said, whenever I think of him, its never what happens in the ring that comes to mind first. Still, as it stands, I would be surprised if I listed 100 wrestlers better than him.

Mitsuharu Misawa
Whenever I think about who my #1 is, I automatically go to Kobashi and have done for a long time. It's my default.....but Misawa...what a wrestler...the sheer volume of quality matches he has been in, the execution, the intensity, the crowds...just everything about Misawa suggests that he absolutely has what it takes to be the #1 guy. Tough choices to be made.

Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue
An awesome ,awesome team. Had pretty much everything. An absolutely lock for my top 5.

Tomohiro Ishii
His 2014 run is absolutely my favourite of the year thus far and loved what he was doing in '13 also, but not seen enough beyond that yet to suggest that a top 100 spot.

Shawn Michaels
My biggest issue with Michaels is that more often than not, his singles matches feel hollow. To me, very much a wrestler who is far more style than substance and as such, I have never felt any desire to re-watch. However, as with a number of other wrestlers listed in this project, they deserve to be reviewed to see if time has softened my view any.

Tsuyoshi Kikuchi
Kikuchi has always been one of those guys who despite not being a star, made things better by being there. Top 100? Probably not, but certainly part of the conversation.

Kenta Kobashi
Kobashi is my #1 guy...he gave me everything I could ever want from a wrestler, excluding promos.

Things Wrestlers Value that we don't
I was watching some Savage last night and I forgot how much charisma that man had. One of those guys who would be a superstar in any era.

Rekindling the spark
If you're ever in the United States, make your way up to Minnesota and I'll introduce you to the Jiffy Burger at the Blue Door Pub in St. Paul. Nothing you find in London will even come close to topping this masterpiece. http://thebdp.com/pdfs/BDP_MENU_2014.pdf What do they do with your corpse after you drop dead from eating this?

Rekindling the spark
I dropped out for 15 years.....then about a year back I was browsing the web and decided to see what was happening in wrestling. I had done this a number of times over the years but it had never lead to anything and I would go back to my other interests and pay it no mind. The difference last summer was the rave reviews G1 was getting. Japan had always been my preference with regards to wrestling and the level of praise coming from the tournament piqued my interest and one thing lead to another and here I am spending more time watching, listening and reading about wrestling than I do combined on any of my other interests. Cant bring myself to watch current WWE mind...that's the total shits.

Yumi Ikeshita, Mami Kumano, and assorted Joshi
I have a huge hole in my knowledge of any Joshi outside the period 1990 to 1996. I was wondering what the are the classic matches, feuds, shows etc worth catching up on to fill this void?

[1994-01-24-AJW] Aja Kong vs Yumiko Hotta
I love this match - one of the most brutal I can recall...in fact, I am hard pushed to think of any match quite a stiff as this.

I thought this show was absolutely brilliant. So much fun.

Your personal most Overrated and Underrated
Underrated - Akira Taue seems to be a guy over the years who never got the kudos I think he should have. Shawn Michaels would be my #1 overrated. I have never been able to see what the fuss was all about. Maybe I have a blind spot, but nothing about him has ever stood out..
