WWE Hidden Gems
I'm just really, really hoping that the full Christmas Night Liger/Pillman match is in the vault somewhere. The JIP version is so swank. I want the rest.

Has wrestling gone overboard with the various streaming services?
I know this has very much moved to a catch-all for all news about the smaller streaming services, but there are just to many out there that it's absolutely ridiculous. So many smaller groups out there want their very small whole pie as opposed to joining up and having a smaller piece of a way, way bigger pie. Powerbomb seems to have the right idea, and I have no idea if they're profitable.

Your Wrestling Guilty Pleasure
As a kid I liked the Hayes/Garvin Freedbirds with DDP, Humperdink, etc. To a 9 year old they were the first cool bad guys especially feuding with the corny ass Young Pistols. Doesn't hold up very well but there's still the soft spot.

Best workers of the 2010s (so far)
The thing with the Bar was they didn't have that key rival on Raw. I think the Jeff Hardy injury was bad luck as was the Shield revival being absolutely cursed. Excited to see good programs with the Usos and the New Day.

Smackdown moving to FOX
Fox's prime time window is only 2 hours. The local affiliates love they can do the 10 pm news and the ratings bump it can give. So no way to do 3 hours and satisfy the affiliates.

Smackdown moving to FOX
My guess would be that all it would do, schedule wise, is change the Friday live show into a live SD. They might take the Tuesday live shows off the table, but the rights increase will more than cover a Tuesday night house show. That would leave both shows as traveling Friday-Monday, save the international tours.

WWE Network... It's Here
I think a lot of it comes from them collaborating on the Hardy Boyz set (which I think means that the Final Deletion will be included), so now there's some kind of loose arrangement when it comes to using the footage.

WWE TV 05/07 - 05/13
With that weird Ascension promo, I feel like it's definitely possible they are doing a tag team one too. But yeah, the mens and womens both seem to be interbrand.

Hulk Hogan returning to WWE
No, I would wager that everyone has not said similar things in conversations with buddies.

The Pro-wrestling Curve of Attractiveness
- Greatest Royal Rumble?
An idea I heard and loved, which it's too late to put together now, would be while the same weekend they are holding this show to have an all-womens show stateside, just really celebrate that part of the roster and put it on the network too.- Biggest Pops and Best Crowd Connection you have seen in person
I feel like the best overall crowd connection I've ever been a part of was at Elimination Chamber 2014 for the Wyatts vs. The Shield. Not so much the acts in particular but the overall moment and just how fucking into the match the crowd was. Every little thing had the crowd just going apeshit.- Current New Japan
I find Ross more palatable even at his worst to Kevin Kelly screeching about fucking star ratings.- 26th March - 1st April WWE
That seems like a really weird and unlikely work, unless it's designed to be a rib at Lesnar, which would also make no sense.- WWE Network... It's Here
WCCW 167 - 03/09/1985 WCCW 179 - 06/01/1985 These are all that I see that's been added.- Has wrestling gone overboard with the various streaming services?
So can anyone ELI5 the fucking Michael Elgin thing with Powerbomb? I've heard companies are backing out, the owners are fighting... But it's all without context.- Booker T hates Corey Graves now? Is this a real thing?
It feels like Booker is totally playing the carny here. Trying to build interest in his podcast, meet and greet appearances, etc. Graves is playing along. Booker still does the PPV Pre-show. If there was concern about assaulting a coworker, he would have the Scott Steiner treatment- Royal Rumble 2018

- Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
When really pushed on it, you get the "they're working" defense, but the Bucks have to have the thinnest fucking skin out there.- Proposal for 2018: Match Review Trades
I'd definitely be interested. I have WWE, Highspots and did the free trial for WWN.- Clash of Champions 2017
The Bludgeon Brothers ring gear felt like someone decided to rip off War Machine, but poorly.- Dave Meltzer stuff
FWIW, Ferdinand is trying to follow the Sing pattern from last year. It opened opposite Star Wars and was very successful counter programming for families. I believe the highest grossing movie ever to not be #1.- NXT Takeover: WarGames
It was a fun live show, although my sight line for the main event absolutely sucked after the table spot, as they completely avoided the second ring due to the blood afterwards. I also think that's why it slowed down a little at that point, because they had to audible some of the bigger spots they were planning.- Current New Japan
The Jay White Switchblade stuff looks laughably bad as it was. Jay White, for being a bright young talent, is a total babyfaced kid. Having him look like he raided Baron Corbin's wardrobe and an edgy nickname does absolutely nothing for him short of making him look like a total dork. - Greatest Royal Rumble?
