[1997-03-03-WCW-Nitro] Interview: NWO
I really liked Sting's part in this. And I agree that Savage looks really horrible just kowtowing to Hogan after all he endured during the initial part of the nWo angle. I take Bischoff and Hogan's bravado about Schiller as more of a heel lie than any kind of truth.

[1997-03-03-WCW-Nitro] Eric Bischoff and Harvey Schiller
I really enjoyed this, but I thought Schiller was the wrong guy for it. You can literally see he doesn't want to be on TV. The idea behind the segment is solid and Bischoff really carried it.

LOVED the Lawler vs. Heyman stuff. The match is fine for a garbage match.

I also did not get the finish. Looked like a Roadies squash to me from the get-go.

[1997-02-24-WWF-Raw] The Eliminators and Paul Heyman / Stevie Richards vs Little Guido
Fun TV match, I liked the banter between King and Heyman a lot.

[1997-02-24-WWF-Raw] Jerry Lawler and Ken Shamrock
I'll agree. Lawler showing his ass made this for sure.

[1997-02-24-WCW-Nitro] Lex Luger & The Giant vs Harlem Heat
What a great segment. Bischoff is slimy, Luger is both smart and into it. Sting is mysterious. Wonderful stuff all around.

[1997-02-24-WCW-Nitro] Interview: NWO
I love the way the announcers put this over. They leave no doubt that the nWo is stronger than it has ever been. I'd say it also freshens up the nWo as well as Savage.

[1997-02-24-WCW-Nitro] Diamond Dallas Page vs David Taylor
What a great start to a feud. I barely remember this stuff, so I'm very much looking forward to it.

[1997-02-24-WCW-Nitro] Eddy Guerrero & Chris Jericho vs Meng & Barbarian
Faces of Fear are all-time favorites for me and this match showcases why. They are huge, powerful monsters who know how and when to show ass just enough to let their smaller opponents look good. I really wish WCW had put them in more matches like this.

[1997-02-23-WCW-Superbrawl VII] Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Piper
I can see all the explanations making sense. I can also see this actually putting more questions about the Sting character in the mind of viewers despite him not being around for this specific finish. Either way, they could have done way more for letting people know what happened. Not a great finish.

[1997-02-23-WCW-Superbrawl VII] Lex Luger & The Giant vs Scott Hall & Kevin Nash
I feel like tomorrow night Bischoff will take the titles back for Hall & Nash. And probably bitch a lot about Lex. I did like the way they did this a lot and it is easily the best of the 3 matches as far as a satisfying finish for the crowd.

[1997-02-23-WCW-Superbrawl VII] Dean Malenko vs Syxx
I thought this was one of Malenko's better PPV matches since early 96. Syxx really brought a lot of good stuff here (from what little I saw) that covered up some of the thigns Malenko has not gotten right in the past. Finish is iffy at very best and probably woefully bad.

[1997-02-17-WWF-Raw] Bret Hart vs Sid
Much better match than I expected with Bret working on top in a very believable way against Sid. The finish was obvious from the booking of the earlier parts of the show, but it doesn't distract from the match.
