  1. I'm with DiBiase as the MVP of the year for the WWF. He was Mr. Consistency throughout. Maybe Vince realized that Kerry was extremely damaged goods by this point and started writing him out?
  2. Steamboat as Scorpion??? This has promise. Anyway, thank God this whole bullshit saga is over and Ole is out of town. Good luck picking up the pieces Dusty.
  3. Luger vs. Hansen was way better than I expected. Then again, before the 1990 stuff I didn't know Luger was so damn good. I agree that he gets to showcase a different side of himself in this setting and it's something I wish we'd seen more of.
  4. This is absolutely my kind of match and there need to be more like it. Nasty, stiff, no useless stuff to fill time....great stuff.
  5. I really do love this time in AJPW. Misawa, Kawada, Taue and Kobashi are all improving so rapidly that Jumbo has to up his game in order to stay the ace. Great tag match and those 20+ minutes absolutely flew by.
  6. These two have incredible chemistry. Waltman in particular has a ton of potential. Too bad his personal issues got in the way so often.
  7. Sounds like a fun match, but you have to hope Eddie and Tommy are in for short bursts. Even if they are probably better than half of the WWF roster still.
  8. Not the best Terry promo, but I'll always be happy to see the guy on my screen.
  9. About what you expect from this matchup on TV. Give the crowd enough, but not so much they don't feel the need to come out to MSC next time they lock up. Also, STEVE KEIRN!
  10. Again, I don't see this as a Flair thing. Did he really let his ego go so much that he couldn't see Teddy turning this around on him? Either way, it all ties into the nonsense shit that has been dominating WCW for a while. Such a wasted opportunity with the WWF struggling.
  11. Another surprising (in a good way) Warrior promo. Where were these earlier in the year?
  12. Warrior not sucking surprised me. Teddy is definitely underappreciated as a worker. Savage was incredible post-match and he was definitely the star of the whole segment.
  13. I'm guessing they didn't want Taylor "losing" 3 shots at the TV title, so they just made it a screwjob ending. Good choice. No sarcasm at all there. Really.
  14. Part of me thinks that if WCW had their shit together the second half of 1990 they would have made up a TON of ground on the WWF. Instead they were doing this shit and somehow losing ground. Amazing stuff.
  15. Still not on board with this as anything that makes sense for Flair. Was Ole seriously trying to bury the entire company?
  16. Loving how much Gilbert is playing up his position in relation to Lawler. Such a tremendous heel.
  17. Given that I've already seen the Satanico vs. Dandy December hair match, this is my second favorite so far. The earlier Dandy vs. Satanico sits at number 3.
  18. Mildly amusing anyway. Not sure what EMLL hoped to accomplish here.
  19. I'm pretty sure at this point in time Dandy vs. Satanico has surpassed Santo vs. Casas as a rivalry for me. These two are amazing pro wrestlers.
