  1. Kerry and all 3 manager being there kind of killed this for me. Good stuff, but easily the least of the matches in this feud so far.
  2. I thought Lawler was the perfect guy for this. He carried it off well too.
  3. Jeannie really impresses as a complete bitch. Austin ragging on Johnson's rambling question is kind of a glimpse into the future.
  4. I like seeing Dundee, Jarrett and DWB back in the Memphis studio. Need more than Lawler and the occasional highlight of Ron Fuller in this side of the territory.
  5. I loved this match for the aggression and the fire Takada showed. Maeda teasing the suplex early in the finishing run, then going to it again to set up the kneebar was absolute genius.
  6. To be fair, the Midnights could wrestle circles around the 'Birds. Fun promo with Corny getting the last shot in after the 'Birds leave.
  7. This was a lot of fun. In fact, I think it's a good tag match. But that makes it disappointing given who is involved. Kudos to everyone involved for trying something new though. Bold step in an organization that seems to want to move backwards.
  8. What we got was good and I agree it sets the Flair match up well. Orndorff does seem like a way better fit than JYD.
  9. I agree Luger is still over, but this helps absolutely...nobody. Just like the whole fiasco that set off the whole thing. Just like WrestleWar. So basically, WCW wants to make sure no wrestler benefits from a PPV scale event then?
  10. This is actually not a bad promo. Kerry seems like he is on point for most of it, so I'll take it. If I have to watch a Kerry promo that is.
  11. Lee's reaction to the mind reader joke is great. Guess he hadn't ventured over to Memphis territory earlier.
  12. So the confusing part for me here is that there is more Lawler stuff from Memphis TV after this where Lawler has the belt and Spinks is hyped as the ref. Soooo strange.
  13. Now I want Atlas in WCW. The guy can cut a promo for sure. He's had one promo done about 7 or 8 different ways so far. Can't imagine he'd have done worse with actual different material.
  14. So any time of day, Kerry is at the phones for the Hotline?!? Man, that guy is everywhere. Seriously, how long did this last before it went broke? Also, I agree that it definitely seems aimed at the young girls screaming for Kerry in the audience. Kinda creepy.
  15. Pringle with the line of the year so far. That is going more than a little far, but it made TV so Jarrett must have been okay with it. I do like the crazy bastard with a yellow streak that Pringle is playing here. Put Tatum with him and Borne and you've got quite the trio.
  16. First, what did that jobber ever do to Austin to deserve that? Christ, next Austin is going to pull him into the parking lot and run him over with a car. One thing about Texas is that you get guys like Shane West here and Chris von Erich with Borne just killing themselves to make heels look good. And I can't imagine the money was anywhere near enough to cover the long-lasting effects. Toni really gets worked up at Jeannie and she still seems to be getting more time than Chris.
  17. Pretty clear the Horsemen don't care for Herd here, but they cover for him anyway. Yeah, Ole as commentator....you know, him and Funk would make a pretty fun team on commentary.
  18. Seems like this feud was not meant to turn Lawler face, so they had to make it clear that Snowman was the babyface and Lawler the heel on this show. Wonder who is getting fire thrown in their face in MSC?
  19. Snowman and Eddie Marlin getting along? This is strange, but makes sense with what has happened and Marlin's role as the promoter (wants to see bigger crowds).
  20. I caught that as well, with Toni being the aggressive one out of the two and chasing down Austin and Jeannie. Who really wears the pants here? Good outing for everyone and it's kind of strange to see a match involving the ladies where they get every bit as vicious and aggressive as the men.
  21. That was such a nasty injury. Huge credit to Hokuto for being ridiculous amounts of tough. You can hear her start to go into shock at one point before she catches herself. Ugly, ugly injury that I don't think would have been shown on TV in the U.S. if it wasn't live.
  22. I really enjoyed the third fall. The multiple turns based on reactions to the injury and resulting events were really well done. And Satanico was incredible in this match for sure. Sangre continually running away from Perro was pretty fun too.
  23. I am in agreement with the Dr on Dragon 100%. The guy simply has no clue on selling when it's his turn on offense. BUT he always makes his offense look good and I also agree that Casas provides an excellent base for all of the highspots. Best match of this show for sure.
  24. Seemed like they were a little off all match. Until they hit the finishing stretch and really brought things home well. I also questioned shrugging off the low blows, but it's a ten minute exhibition match.
