AWA results for March 1986
Gordi hit my main ones here, but I'll expand on the last. Bock finally turning heel and intimidating Larry Z was absolutely incredible. Perez destroying Somers and Pillman vs. Zenk were really good too.

Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling- March 86
Great use of all the PR guys in the 10 man. Perfect roles for everybody to play. The whole match was great and Funk's turn shouldn't surprise anyone who has been watching Texas. I like how you start the card off with a wild brawl and go to the intense British technical work, then the Southern tag. All big matches, but very different in structure to keep the crowd from getting burnt out.

[1992-01-21-AJPW-New Year's Giant Series] Jumbo Tsuruta vs Toshiaki Kawada
Easily my favorite of the Jumbo/Kawada matches. Kawada looks like a real threat to Jumbo in ways he hasn't before and the crowd buying into it is something else. Kawada delivers on a lot of the promise he has shown in the lastr year in spades here and Jumbo is more than willing to make him look great for it.

Sad to see Dr. D go. The tag match was great and I love how you intermix your feuds.

World Class Championship Wrestling: March 1986
Spaldoni hit on almost all of my reactions. Nikita being dominant here is great as well and he is on a HUGE roll. Can we see Studd and Nikita in a (obviously shitty no-finish, but still) battle of the bulls?

[1992-01-19-WWF-Royal Rumble] Royal Rumble
Davey early on gets time to shine and does. Michaels and Piper too. Bossman's elimination was easily the most memorable moment. Flair is why you watch and he tops all of that by keeping busy the whole time he's in , which is forever. Great Rumble with an all-time performance from both Flair and Heenan.

[1992-01-19-Hamada's UWF] Lightning Kid & Jerry Lynn & Dr Wagner Jr vs Dos Caras & Silver King & El Texano
I would agree that Kid looked like the worst of the bunch as far as consistently hitting his shit. But everyone comes off well in the end due to the sheer amount of cutting edge spots being thrown around. Not a ton of selling going on throughout, but that's not really what this match was about. Caras vs. Wagner carried this I thought. There were a noticeable amount of places where the match stalled because of a lack of communication, but it doesn't hurt this match a ton.

Proposal for 2018: Match Review Trades
Wow, this was awesome! To make a point as to how into this match I was, I paused my lunch to finish and review it rather than miss a key transition or forget a detail that I liked. Thanks a lot for the match!! Review is here. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/22188-dick-togo-vs-antonio-honda-ddt-sweet-dreams-013011/&do=findComment&comment=5583808

[2011-01-30-DDT-Sweet Dreams] Dick Togo vs Antonio Honda
I would add to the praise of Honda and say his performance here is also influensed heavily by Yuki Ishikawa. I saw him as Ishikawa somehow inexplicably combined with Jerry Lawler for a few moments, but in the best way possible. The early arm work was very good, but would have been more towards okay to good if not for Togo's incredible selling and Honda's going back to it later on in the match. Togo's working over of the cut is all kinds of awesome. The Lawler comeback from Honda is easily the best I have seen not coming from Lawler himself. I liked the nearfalls and avoiding of big moves section, very well done and I give Togo all the credit in the world for putting it in there. It sets up the next sequence with both getting frustrated and punching each other in the face repeatedly so well. I a no big fan of modern strike exchanges, but this one really captures the idea of two guys who have thrown everything at one another and just got pissed off that nothing worked. And the selling was there, which always makes the exchange better. Both being punch drunk and stumbling into one another was an incredibly nice touch. Excellent match and easily in my top 5 matches post 2000 that I have seen.

UNIVERSAL WRESTLING FEDERATION (UWF)
Gordy going after Williams is definitely a change-up from reality. Looking forward to their street fight. I like the Blondes a lot. Even if Rip Oliver isn't exactly a perfect fit. Main would have been a really good brawl.

NWA Lutte Internationale March 1986
Tully really works as the focus of the show here. Great stuff in the promo and the match. Adonis and Paul E. both hit the right notes and they are working their way to being one of your top heel acts. Loved Borne's involvement here. I like seeing los Infernales fight one another, they need to learn how awful it feels on the other side of one of their beatdowns.

[1992-01-19-UWA] Pegasus Kid & Negro Casas vs El Hijo del Santo & Villano III
Benoit was the weak link, but that's not exactly a death sentence in this match. Villano III is no slouch and I think we all know that Santo and Casas are not easy guys to top. The rudos using a ton of cheating and double teams was a good way to go to get the first fall and threaten in the third. Santo and Casas really tore into one another and it was a blast to watch. I thought Villano showed some good fire against Casas and had some good "I can out-rudo you" moments against him.

[1992-01-18-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Hulk Hogan
I didn't like Hogan calling out Savage and Sid. I get it's every man for himself. But at the same time how do you spin Sid's actions during the Rumble as heelish when Hogan was begging for something like that to happen the week before?
