Ric Flair (sigh)
Yeah, the doc she does not look like it's something she is at all happy about. Which they try to gloss over with a glitzy montage of Ric/Charlotte clips back and forth.

WWF on Tour November 1985
Savage getting one over on Jake due to "accidentally" hitting Elizabeth is sure a nice heelish way to go. The Harts are on their way out it looks like. Rude vs. Windham is a great MSG match.

UNIVERSAL WRESTLING FEDERATION (UWF)
Dundee isn't gonna be too happy, even if it didn't seem like Lawler went out of this way to do anything bad to him there. Good to see the MX getting some momentum built back up.

[1991-06-08-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Eric Embry / Carl Styles and Jerry Lawler
I liked that particular line, thought it was pretty damn clever. My recollection is he even catches his "mistake" afterwards. I also loved the backpedaling. Lawler destroying 2 schmucks who happen to be allied with Embry is a great way to let everyone know the King is back.

[1991-06-08-WCW-Pro] WCW Merchandise Commercial
Look, here's the thing. With all the absolute trash on WCW TV at this point in time, I'm willing to accept something even passable (like this) as a huge step up. They didn't even go off on some useless tangent or show how flimsy/breakable the merchandise was inadvertently. It's a big win if you ask me.

[1991-06-08-WCW-Saturday Night] Bull Drop Inn: Arn Anderson & Paul E. Dangerously
I'm pretty sure Arn left to salvage his dignity more than anything else. Bull Drop Inn may be the most inadvertently accurate title for a bad segment I've ever seen. Jason Hervey really needs to go. Or meet Pete's airplane propeller. I'm leaning more towards the second with each iteration of the segment.

[1991-06-08-WCW-Power Hour] Ric Flair & Arn Anderson vs Bobby Eaton & Big Josh
Fun stuff with Flair and Eaton. I thought Arn bringing the axe handle in and "accidentally" losing it to Bobby was actually pretty clever. Big Josh is such a bad gimmick.

[1991-06-07-USWA Texas] Eric Embry vs Danny Davis
I liked the underdog vs. champ setup and most of the execution a lot. Two things about the crowd. That crowd shot they went to early was ill-advised. Those middle aged ladies were simply not that into it. And that elderly gentleman in the front row was pretty hot after Embry's cheap rollup.

[1991-06-03-WWF-MSG, NY] Hulk Hogan vs Sgt. Slaughter (Desert Storm)
So where was THIS Hogan all my life? I know they are more aimed at kids, but I really like this version of Hogan against a guy like Slaughter who is going to go all-out to make him look like a million bucks. Easily the best Hogan match I have ever seen Stateside. Right up there with the Hansen match in NJPW. Too bad the build to it had to be so....not finding a bad enough word here...

[1991-06-01-WWF-Superstars] Earthquake, Jimmy Hart and Andre the Giant
Great segment just as a last hurrah for Andre. The big man showed a lot of heart even doing as much as he did, given his clear lack of mobility. 8th Wonder of the World indeed.

[1991-06-01-AJPW-Super Power Series] Steve Williams vs Toshiaki Kawada
On rewatch (again) here's the thing. Crowd is ROLLING after that opening. Williams goes into that amateur hold he always does and the crowd immediately goes to sleep. Belly to belly kind of gets the crowd to notice after that, a second belly to belly puts them right back to sleep. Great job murdering the crowd Steve.

AWA results for November 1985
Yeah you have a stacked roster man. Blackwell and Bundy in 85 are both still big deals. Bock, Koko, Buddy & Doug, the Bulldogs in their prime. Sarge, hall, Sullivan and both the Hi Flyers in AWA. So much to work with there.
