What makes a spot believable/unbelievable?
The way Brock twists as he does it, even on that F5 to Show, looks a lot more impactful than the AA. Not that I take it as a DDT type drop since most guys seem to land on their sides or chest first, but it does look like it'd hurt much more than Cena's often gentle drop.

Does Reigns have a common perception on his ability as a worker? Obviously a big group of people think Cena sucks even if that really isn't true. People might not turn on Reigns if they perceive him as a superior worker, probably by getting spots over, even if he lacks anything else.

Should John Cena Turn Heel?

One way to debut Sami Zayn
If he does that he needs a segway, otherwise it's spot on.

One way to debut Sami Zayn
Kinda think this is where he's going to be anyway, honestly. Or he'll get turned into a Seth Rogan comedy character. I guess I just don't have a lot of faith in Sami Zayn on the main roster. Do people see him in NXT right now & think "this guy has RAW main eventer all over him." I just don't see it. Of course, I didn't see it with Punk or Bryan either & they proved me wrong. I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again...but I still think the odds of being a Paul London are better than being a C.M. Punk. I see Zayn as a guy who will get over in time and eventually be championship material, like Bryan and Punk and like I think Rollins and Ambrose will be. They're guys who are simply too good to not get over, barring an intentional act or all time terrible gimmick. I don't think he'll get over right away, except for in a few smark heavy locations, or that he'll be ready to win a meaningful title for a while.

As far as the trading wins thing goes, that's a place where I think not having jobbers and pure squashes hurts them. Instead of trading wins, have one guy smoke a jobber or two, whatever local indy guys are around probably, then he at least has done something other than trade wins and losses with a current opponent.

Emotion Vs. Physicality
Only the dive would hurt, I think. The dropkick and headbutt get pops, sure, but not that big compared to the rest of his arsenal. I do think his dives get major reactions that something else will struggle to replicate, but I absolutely trust Bryan to find something else.

Minoru Suzuki still gets a pop (at least as of last year) with a sleeper. You can use old or mundane moves as a high spot and to get a pop if you properly build them up. Execution helps too, like with the amount of height Okada and Ziggler get on their drop kicks. The issue is if you don't hold pat at certain moves being over yes, you'll see bigger and bigger high spots as a prerequisite for a pop.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
I'd wager the "I don't want to work that schedule" line is a cop out.

Who would you say is more over? I'd say Bryan is but he's not exactly active and I wouldn't argue if Reigns comes across as more over some time. Cena is Cena.

Famous fans
Indy wrestling has a certain hipster appeal, from what I hear PWG definitely gets some of that crowd. Aside from disappointed girlfriends, I've seen more attractive women than I'd expect at AAW and Chikara here in Chicago, but they usually fall into the hipster trendy category.

Thank god none of us have memories longer than two years. Hell of a promo by Heyman, but it has a fatal flaw of not addressing the fact that Cena beat Brock before. It wouldn't be hard to explain away either. Just say it took Cena using a metal chain to beat Brock and that now he can't do that.

Everything went better than expected. Cesaro actually looked strong (and good) for the first time in a while.

Unfortunately, me too. But the hope is that it at least takes a while, rather than cutting things off right as it's hitting a stride.

Please let this match actually get some time to be what it could be. It's early enough in the hour, but so early that I'm afraid it'll end fast and the Brock stuff will go on forever.

I hate the Flo Rida/Slater segment so much. A musician shouldn't by physically showing up a wrestler.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
I was thinking a Warhammer figure, but that's also good. What can they get right?

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
WWE needs to retire the Battleground name. Two dreadful shows on its resume.

Damn it I want Barrett back, he was getting so good.

The flag unfurling saved an otherwise terrible match.

This crowd isn't so into Swagger. Buncha traitors.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
At least the finish was a shining wizard, which I'll always pop for if done right. Otherwise, not so great.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Ambrose rules as a nutjob hero. Interested in seeing where this one will go, I'm actually fine with them postponing a match this way.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Top stuff for that opener. First falls were fast, rushed I guess, but it didn't bother me. That Harper boot looks like a KO shot and should be a fall when it lands. Great planning at the end, they definitely got me to bite on a couple nearfalls.

Damn, that boot looked awesome.
