Why is Shane using submission wrestling to keep up with Taker? Hurl yourself off a scaffold or something

Damn fine match, easily the best of the night. Not crazy about the finish or the camera work on it.

Dean's offense looked like it couldn't even annoy Brock, let alone hurt him.

Wrestle Mania 32... Live As It Happens
This is correct for the Zayn thing, WWE.com mentioned it before too I thought it was because El Generico used Ole by The Bouncing Souls as his theme music. That's also true, the semi-kayfabe reason for Zayn is the montreal connection and he may have chosen that music as Generico because of the Habs, but that I don't know

Lucha Underground Season 2 debuts tonight.
Also, while I didn't love it as much as most of you, I did find it to be an enjoyable hour of TV and I am a big, big fan of their presentation. It feels so completely fresh and different than WWE, ROH, TNA, or any other wrestling out there.

Lucha Underground Season 2 debuts tonight.
That's exactly my point as in it's just a fact of life so why would someone take issue with it being pushed as fact in a wrestling context? No idea, that's silly. If you accept an Irish whip than you have to accept a triangle choke. MMA submissions are fine in pro wrestling, but too often I see them as an instant tap out or some sort of credibility builder, that's what bothers me. For the former, it implies that anyone with a baseline of MMA training should be able to beat pro wrestlers in pro wrestling. For the latter, basically the same issue, the implication that MMA is on another level above pro wrestling and if you train in MMA then pro wrestling will be easy.

I'm with you on basically all of this. And I get what Grimmas is saying, and it's true, but I hate the new trope of MMA moves = super effective in wrestling

Who had the best body and when?
Probably someone before the steroids era who looks like an actual athlete instead of a bodybuilder, someone with the body type of Arn Anderson/young Lou Thesz or Bockwinkel, etc.

Royal Rumble 2016
Scott Steiner debuted at a Rumble, didn't he? That was a huge pop too

So, AJ Styles is really, really small.
Him keeping the name AJ Styles was the biggest surprise to me

Current NWA
One of the things I love about these posters (and the rise of Southern indy talk in the past year) is realizing how many more wrestlers there are out there. It might not be territory days deep, but if you only watch the name/northeastern indy's + PWG, you get a sense of the same guys being everywhere .
