The Highest Level of Stupid
The Summer of Punk II somehow turning into a Nash/HHH feud...in 2011...with a ladder match blowoff.

WWE TV 7/20 - 7/26
Kofi's skip-clapping has been the best thing on the show so far.

WWE Battleground... Tonight
I was relieved when he had to resort to the nut shot since there's no conceivable way Taker can step to Brock at this point. The crowd even went with it for a second and started to boo, but it's The Undertaker so they popped for all of his spots.

WWE Battleground... Tonight
Well, they at least tried making Taker the heel. That's something.

WWE Battleground... Tonight
Brie's really lucky she didn't get hurt taking that bump off the apron.

WWE Battleground... Tonight
Everyone trades wins with Wyatt. They keep him strong so he can trade wins with other guys. I think of him as the reverse gatekeeper. When they need to derail someone from the top echelon/title picture, they stick them with Bray for months.

Undertaker and Sting to work Summerslam
I'm perfectly fine with one old timers match on every Summerslam/Mania as long as they are as batshit crazy as Sting/HHH.

Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Tyler Breeze at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn on 8/22
They tried to synchronize a bunch of departments under one umbrella but put someone disposable in charge in case it didn't work out.

Vince is not afraid of ROH. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't relish having a company significant enough to fuck with after years of being, "the only show in town."

Early Hall of Fame 2016 Predictions
It's especially shitty behavior in the case of Blackjack since he's in very poor health.

2007 is pretty good. Vince as ECW champion is the last big hurrah for the Mr. McMahon character, and I thought it was a lot of fun. There's also WWE's final word ever on Benoit, which is interesting in a historical context. Punk's feuds with Morrison and Chavito are also a good time.

Jackie Fargo
The Fargo strut is one of my favorite things in wrestling. I'll have to look around for footage.

NWA-TNA 2002 REVISITED
I forgot about Chris Rock showing up. I'm pretty sure he was shooting something that was part of like five seconds of a montage in Head of State.

WWE The Beast In the East Special... Live As It Happens
Based on what I've seen from Balor, once he hits the main roster he'll have good matches with the usual suspects (Cena, Cesaro, Sheamus), but he'll struggle to gel with most of the roster. He seems to be the opitome of a guy who works up to his opponent's level.

Is Daniel Bryan Nearing The End Of The Road?
Bryan's a weird case where no matter what may have occurred they're sort of insulated from at least some of the responsibility by his interviews. He's explicitly said that he's tried to hide concussions from them, that he's fought with them about stopping matches, and there's that crazy stuff about learning to work without being able to use his hands. I don't know if a coverup was necessary.

Brock Lesnar
The second that Brock had to backpedal for Hunter's bullshit punches on TV it killed a little bit of the mystique he'd built with the Cena match. I actually don't mind the Summerslam match too much. It's a HHH match for sure, but there's a logic to how it progresses with the limbwork and at least Brock went over. The feud should have ended there though.

John Cena - Turn Of The Century
His appeal is to a generation of children used to getting their way and conditioned that Cena doesn't lose. I can imagine a lot of tantrums after a Cena loss.

Money in the Bank 2015... Live as it Happens
It was originally Trump's entrance music.

The only reason they hired Striker was because he achieved some notoriety in the news for being fired from his teaching position when the school he worked for found out he was calling out sick to work Indy dates. The gimmick was just capitalizing on the press he got. I'm actually surprised he parlayed that into a fairly lengthy run.

Shawn Michaels v. Steve Austin
Didn't Austin get a concussion in the first few minutes of the Summerslam match? Not that he didn't have several other disappointing matches with Taker.

WWE TV 6/8 - 6/14/15
Hogan's tweet was a dig at Punk leaving, which he assuredly knows little about, while talking about hockey, which he also knows little about. Punk suffers plenty of fools in regard to the "quitter" stuff, but taking shit from Hogan, who he already disliked, wasn't going to fly. On the other hand, it wasn't the most mature response and it just gave Hogan the attention he was looking for.
