Between the Sheets #172 (October 31-November 6, 1995) (Featuring Robert O'Connor)
Hmmmm......I'd say O'Connor is good for one segment per show. Or half a segment.

Wrestling before or after 1996?
Bumping this because it's been a year and I think it's an interesting way to take the temperature among posters....

Eggshells Podcast Companion
https://www.postwrestling.com/category/podcasts/postwrestling/eggshells/ While I'm at it, I've been enjoying these weekly since the start of the summer. Charlton's a great host.

Has anyone tried Breaking Kayfabe with Jeff Bowdren yet?
Anyone else still listening? I've no interest in hearing them talk food, movies or anything pop culture, but the wrestling talk can be quite good. Barry knows his Florida history.

The Ron Fuller Podcast (Studcast)
I listened to the Atlanta episodes. As much as Fuller's a great storyteller - and this is especially the case listening to several shows back to back - he can be a bit longwinded and repeat himself. I'm sure Last knows his audience has a strong grasp of fundamentals and could politely speed Ron along when he's over explaining things. That said, very good shows. I'll dip into the archive here and there.

Dave Meltzer stuff
That is absolute gibberish. I'd love to hear him try explaining that to Cornette.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Agreed on the Ospreay thing. It makes you wonder if every opinion he held since the 80s was rubbish too.

Between the Sheets #165 (September 12-18, 2001) (Featuring Matt Griffin & Phil Schneider)
Really interesting, heartfelt contributions from both Kris and Bix to begin this week, and Matt Griffin offers a very fair interpretation on how military men can view gung-ho attitudes from civilians. Really enjoyed this.

Is "nothing matters anymore" generally accepted as truth here?
Wow, never thought he'd pop up on pwo. And hello to jason Isaacs.

Great show - just a quick correction that the Jacques - Dynamite incident happened after SummerSlam. That's also the reason Survivors was booked with the Rougeaus eliminated a good half hour before the Bulldogs - allowed them to leave the building before Dynamite could exact revenge on his last night in the company.

All Star Wrestling on the Network
'Talking away' is a wonderful local turn of phrase. Fair play.

So what is everybody doing?
I'm watching the best PPV and tv matches on Raw and Smackdown from 2016 now. I did 2015 earlier in year. I'm really trimming the fat though - 2 or 3 matches per PPV, on average. I've lived through it once, just grabbing the best for rewatching.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
Are there any recommendations for tv matches on Impact in the last few months?

WELCOME TO RAW IS...Oh, sorry habit, TALK IS JERRRIIICHO!
That's a good point about Jericho admitting that he doesn't know everything about wrestling. He seems to enjoy being in wrestling, but his other interests have enabled him to keep a healthy distance and sense of perspective.

Hulk Hogan reinstated into the Hall of Fame, maybe making an appearance tonight
Nostalgia is pretty big in everything. Too big, I think.

WWE TV 7/9-7/15 Superstar SLEEZE In Da House
Prichard addressed this on STW ages ago (can’t remember the episode). He was unapologetic about it, arguing that as soon as you submit an idea it’s fair game to be used anywhere the company sees fit. Asshole.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
I think Conrad's seemed pissed off/bored for quite a while now. It seems like every time Bruce's answer doesn't satisfy him he huffs for a few seconds before moving on. Feels like a couple arguing at times.

PTBN GWWE: Podcast Thread
Great show and eagerly anticipated as noted above. However, I'm curious about the Flair discussion. I didn't follow along on facebook but the argument that he did a lot more in the NWA/WCW is only part of the problem in such high rankings, to me. I really cannot see anything in his 2001-08 run that helps put him in a top 40 spot. Justin, would you say Flair was a Top 20 roster member anytime in that second run? Genuinely curious - I think this could be a part of the disconnect you saw in the discussion.

Isn't there something odd about the finish of Hogan and Race? It looks like the legdrop was filmed in post. Perhaps something to do with Harleys injury.
