Dave Meltzer stuff
Has he? I see Cena as having great years in 2006, 2007 and from 2013 onwards. Scattered highlights here and there in between.

Dave Meltzer stuff
I'm not defending the match (I haven't watched the wretched thing btw).

Dave Meltzer stuff
I'd like to think I put more thought into what I say. And I certainly would if I was on a podcast.

Dave Meltzer stuff
It's more that there's no way he gave the subject enough thought to make such a declarative statement.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Lightning quick, definite statement made with 19 seconds thought number 237 - cena v Corbin was in the bottom 10% of Cena PPV matches ever.

Shoots Review and Preview thread
I agree. And the idea of a full, albeit swift, overview of a whole career in one sitting is appealing to me.

I wonder how different Schiavone found RF's 'ask questions flatly from a sheet with no follow up whatsoever' from Conrad's prepared, thorough grilling. I have my issues with Big Conrad at times but he puts an honest effort in, and to be fair he works better with Schiavone anyway.

Royal Ramble Podcast
Really enjoyed the discussion on both episodes.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Couldn't TNA's previous awfulness be commented upon here? Why close it?

605 Podcast new feature
To be honest, it's a relief that the show isn't weekly anymore, and unless he has a new cohost I tend to skip the top 10, and I'm selective about which interviews I listen to BUT I still think there's enough worthwhile stuff most of the time to pick through.

605 Podcast new feature
Wanted to draw attention to the slaughtering a sacred cow feature. Quite enjoyable, and familiar ground to longtime PWO-ers.

What Happened When with Tony Schiavone
The Hog Wild episode is off to a really compelling start, with Conrad going hard at Heenan for working drunk and Schiavone questioning his own avoiding confrontation as a producer back then.

Enjoyed the Hansen/Dillon interviews. Lots of plugs on these podcasts though...

Thanks. That sounds like a fair comparison between the two.

Could you explain that a bit for international readers, Loss.

What Happened When with Tony Schiavone
It wasn't discussed directly on the episode here, but I always got the impression that Schiavone would get annoyed on air that Heenan was clearly checked out and didn't care about much apart from slipping in one liners.

Between the Sheets #106 (July 26-August 1, 1989)
That's some high praise for steamboat-Luger at the Bash. I'll have to rewatch it.

What Happened When with Tony Schiavone
Listened to the Heenan episode. I'll say the same thing as I did after listening to a schiavone podcast on the same topic 3 years ago. Tony, pick up the f***ing phone and ring him.

Shoots Review and Preview thread
In terms of preparation, detail and actually having something to say, Foleys RF shoot in 2004 or early 2005 was very good.

The Mae Young Classic
Geez, Grimmas. I thought you'd have no problem with that state of affairs whatsoever.
