WWF on Tour December 1984
WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium David Sammartino defeated Barry Horowitz -The rise of David Sammartino will be written about in the annals of time but his time in the WWF may not be as highlighted. He has got some very basic kills and is able to show them off in the ring. He just isn’t getting the rub from his papa that he would hope. We see him finish things off with the bearhug for the submission and the victory. *COMMERCIAL* Jack & Jerry Briscoe defeated Victor Rivera & Johnny Rivera -Jack and Jerry aren’t looking at spry as they once did. It is an interesting dynamic to see them in action but they know how to do it and get it done. A slick double suplex on Johnny Rivera spells the end for the 1…2….3! *COMMERCIAL* Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Brady Boone & Johnny Rodz -Studd and Bundy look about as dominant as ever. Heenan is absent as he’s down there managing but then he comes back up in the booth and just puts his men over in the biggest way. Boone and Rodz don’t have a chance as the AVALANCHE spells the end for the 1…2….3! *COMMERCIAL* EVENT CENTER Mean Gene: Ladies and gentlemen welcome into the event center I am Gene Okerlund. We are just outside of two weeks away from the Brawl to End it All and the matches continue to heat up. Already signed for the event… MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPION vs REAL WORLD CHAMPION Hulk Hogan © vs Nick Bockwinkel © w/ Bobby Heenan INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Gino Hernadez © w/ Woman STREET FIGHT Jimmy Snuka vs Roddy Piper TEXAS TORNADO TAG Jack & Jerry Briscoe vs Terry & Dory Funk BATTLE OF THE GIANTS Andre the Giant vs One Man Gang Mean Gene: It is going to be an event of epic magnitude and there will be some careers that will be changed forever. We expect a tag team championship match up but I am told that Bobby Heenan has the contract for the Russians to take on King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd. I am one person who would love to see that contest. Another big contest will be the street fight between Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka. These two men have a complete hatred for one another and this will be the moment by which it will be ended. Let’s hear from Piper and Snuka… Roddy Piper: Roddy Piper here, main event material and here I am stuck with that savage Jimmy Snuka. Snuka, you are about as goofy and idiotic as they come. Man you just don’t get it. You keep trying to hurt me and I keep coming back. I am going to keep coming back and keep coming back. I am going to take you to the streets Snuka and make you feel some pain you never felt before… it’s time to get ROWDY! Jimmy Snuka: WHOOO WHOO! Roddy Piper… you want to call me dumb… you call me an idiot… these words mean nothing to me! Roddy Piper, we are going to clash brotha and I am going to unleash the Savage on the inside of me all over you. I am going to fly all over you brother and I am going to show you why I am the SUPERFLY! Mean Gene: A fight is going to be had when those two get in the ring. Another big time contest is going to be the Intercontinental Championship match between champion Gino Hernandez and the challenger, Randy Savage. These two men have been at war throughout most of the summer but there hasn’t be a clear-cut winner… we hope at the Brawl to End it All it is the end. The special piece of this contest is going to be the role of the women outside the ring… Woman and Miss Elizabeth… let’s hear from Hernandez and Savage… Gino Hernandez: Champion… that’s what they call me Savage. I am the champion… and I have been the champion for almost all of 1984 and brother I am going to jump into 1985 with this belt around my wait… with this Woman on my left and your woman… Miss Elizabeth on my right! There is not a damn thing you are going to be able to do about it brother. I am going to outclass you from the entrance to the ending bell. I have got an outfit that will make the men scream and make the women cream baby. You looking at the handsome half-breed and I have got the world in the palm of my hand… you are a simple ant in my world brother and I am laying the boot down! Randy Savage: OHHH YEAAAAAHHHH! Gino Hernandez you come out here and talk and talk and talk… maybe someone needs to shut you up… maybe that someone is me huh? Ohhh yeaaahhh… you uttered the words once again after I told you not too but you did it… yeah… you did it didn’t you… well Gino Hernandez, come the 30th of December inside Madison Square Garden…. There will be no words…. No words… there will only be ME and YOU… DIG IT! *COMMERCIAL* MAIN EVENT Tito Santana vs Omar Atlas -Tito continues to be pushed high up the card as Bobby and Gorilla really put him over in a big way. After the match is over, out of nowhere the Hart Foundation come out and attack him… Jimmy Hart is calling all the shots while the crowd erupts to see Brutus Beefcake come out to help him! They fight off the Harts as Gorilla says we may get to see this one in a tag match next week!

The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
That is all we need shoot me some rosters on pm and we will work from there and try and figure out other small details
-
The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
So would you just get both the rosters and then make a hybrid roster of both and keep within the 46 limit? We could set up Mexican excursions from us guys and vice versa and then you'd set up the Mexican free agents to pick from
-
The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
I'd personally love to have Mexico involved. We'd have to work out a few kinks but I'd be all for it.
-
The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
With 5 votes, this has been decided for all intensive purposes but I'd still like to see some feedback once thunderlips comes back from surgery.

The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
I think with there being 18 days until 1985 we have got plenty of time to work around schedules. In reality if we have enough of a warning or foresight... everything can be worked out. This is a positive game changer... both ways have their positives but I am willing to go out on a limb that with notice, everyone is willing to share and work things out.

The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
One thing I think we will keep is that the freelancer dates for Japan will definitely stay the same and will not change. This has to do with the us of American talent who are currently "under contract" with the US Promotions.

The Land of the Rising Sun Discussion
So the great news is that 1985 is going to see the true return of All Japan and New Japan to the 1983 project as we head into the new year. Now before this, we have simply followed specific tour dates, not know what our talent is doing over there... the game has changed. Thunderlips has taken control of All Japan Gordi ha taken control of New Japan As Gordi brought up... with the promotions being run by real people... we can now possibly look at how the gaijin and touring talent. I am going to put it up for a vote... we have got WWF USWA MACW AWA Lutte CCW Memphis All Japan New Japan With 9 people... that will be a way for us to break up any ties. I see the two options being... 1. We stick to the schedule of predetermined gaijin tours and follow it with the promoters with perhaps some leeway. 2. We scrap the would be plans and then put together new plans with the new promoters. Like Gordi put out... US promotions always have the opportunity to say no... so we will have to work around that... but I think everyone is in this game to work together so we can figure that out. I can change up the poll if we think things need to change... let's keep this discussion on here.

1985 Japanese Tour Dates
I honestly think it is going to be up to the promoters in the US. I think we put it to a vote and then we base it off that. I know me personally, I have booked myself around having the Bulldogs and Hogan gone for periods of time so I will try to stay strict with it... but I think that we have some discussion that needs to happen and I will open a thread on it in just a moment and we will figure it out from there.

Ron Bass and Sam Houston go to the WWF for some players to be named later upon completing their time in the WWF.

Roster Database
I am going to keep Mr. Saito on MACW and Hiro Saito to CCW. If they are in the states they are in the states. There is a ton of Japanese talent to utilize and I am sure that people can work out tour deals for them.

1985 Japanese Tour Dates
Now that all the dates have been put "up front" for everyone... double check them on your end and put them in your calendars. I will try and go through this and do it by tour date to clean up the presentation in the initial post, but we will work from this list.
-
1985 Japanese Tour Dates
The dates need to be up front so we can plan around them... no one will send people on a whim... if they are scheduled and we have it down we will work from there. It isn't a complex system, just takes a little work to get set up. You've got 19 days to get it put together so we can plan around it.

Dirt Sheets
WWF NEWS -The WWF cancelled tonight's house shows due to travel issues... some think it is because of the guys coming back from Japan... regardless they are back on the road tomorrow with the entire roster in tow. - Speaking of Japan, Giant Baba has broadened the All Japan schedule for 85 and that may pull some of the WWF stars away for longer than anticipated. Some names on that list include the British Bulldogs who will be doing three tours and missing almost 4-5 months over the course of the year. Dory Funk Jr and Nick Bockwinkel are also rumored to be taking part in more tours which may disrupt their WWF schedules.
-
1983 Project General Chatter Thread
I've added All Japan to the database. I am trying to work with him on the extra tours for All Japan that happened. If they are New Japan ones... we won't go too crazy but since he's running All Japan, we will try to keep up with the Gaijin there.
