  1. I think it is the perfect way to protect a very young Tonga Kid during this time.

  3. I am fearful that All Japan may end up being let go. No real excuse, but the 1983 WWF project has got a majority of my time, even with just results and the one major angle, I don't know how much can come in the long run to make it worthwhile for the readers and justifiable of the effort.
  4. Hot debuts for Slater and Dibiase. Love the Mid South call back obviously. Great use of everything and you have definitely got some major stars in the USWA sky right now. I have some ideas who the final two are going to be but in reality it could be anyone.
  5. Rick McGraw signs a jobber deal with the WWF while Big Fred Ottman is pulled to the main roster!
  6. WWF Signs Brady Boone, Johnny Rodz, & Tony Garea as a jobber pack.
  7. Is there footage of Bret vs Andre from France? He wrote about it in his book and would definitely be fun to see. Nevermind that. It is out there.
  8. I agree. leta do it that way to start
  9. Two things... I think you should post those limitations we talked about. Secondly, I think it would be best if we just did 30 day excursions rather than the whole time between off periods... I am good either way but just wanted to clarify that.
  10. Okay so here are the details on this Japanese talent system. I really don't have the time to be the curator of it, but here is the information if someone else wants to post here and take it over to make the thread. So with these guys, you can get them for one month and you can pull in one guy or a tag team of two talents, but the most would be two talents at one time for a 30 day period. There are specific rules on some of the guys, like Jumbo and Fujinami aren't going to come in and job week in and week out. That would sever the tie with the Japanese company. Also try not to take one guy from one and one guy from another and put them together. It probably wouldn't happen in real life... so let's try to keep with that. Here is a list of the talents and when they would be available... So like New Japan ended their tour on June 14th and begins again November 16th. So the excursion time would be June 15th to November 15th. A total of 5 months for these talents. Tatsumi Fujinami Seiji Sakaguchi Kengo Kimura Tiger Toguchi Keiichi Yamada Naoki Sano Tatsutoshi Goto Masahiro Chono Keiji Mutoh Strong Machines #1 [Junji Hirata] & #2 [Yokpalsan] For All Japan, They have a tour from August to September 12th. Then start again November 22nd. So they would have from Sept 13th to November 21st. 3 Months of an excursion. So these guys can be used from October 1st until November 21st. Jumbo Tsuruta Gen'ichiro Tenryu Rusher Kimura Goro Tsurumi Takashi Ishikawa Mighty Inoue Masanobu Fuchi Yoshihiro Momota Momota Mitsuo Tarzan Goto Toshiaki Kawada Tiger Mask Atsushi Onita Mitsuhara Misawa Anyone interested?
  11. I completely understand. It may come out as a coliseum video update but if you've followed the dirt sheets, the WWF has been in trouble with the networks for having too violent of matches on MSG.
  12. Just to be clear, tomorrow is October 1st and we all get a +1 for a manager, wrestler, or jobber pack. If you are picking a jobber pack, you can do all three at once, but only do one at a time and then 24 hours later do the other jobber pack. If you are doing wrestlers, do one at a time, and wait 24 hours for the next one so everyone gets a chance. I am going to update rosters as much as possible over the next 24 hours so bear with me.
  13. WWF on the MSG Network New York City, New York – Madison Square Garden 9/30/1984 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Venutra Gorilla: Welcome everyone to Madison Square Garden. Gorilla Monsoon here alongside Jesse the Body Venutra. Jesse we have got a great night of action lined up. Jesse: It is going to be a magnificent night Monsoon. I have got goosebumps up and down my spine right now. Gorilla: Jess you and I saw it earlier, that cage is in the back. Now we won’t have that match for you fans as WWF officials have deemed it too dangerous to view on television. We will have stills and results for you next week on our WWF programming. Jesse: Sometimes a fight is just too much for some and lemme tell ya… Dory Funk Jr and Jack Briscoe are going to leave every bit of it in that ring. Gorilla: Well we’ve got some great action coming up here tonight over the next two hours… right now let’s head to the ring for our opening contest! The Youngbloods vs the Hart Foundation w/ Jimmy Hart -The Harts don’t get the same ovation as they did a mere month ago in MSG and they don’t seem to mind. They eat it up with a spoon as Jimmy Hart leads his men to the ring and we get a nice 9-minute opening sequence. The Youngbloods are pretty good in the ring and we get to see a nice little interaction with Bret Hart and Jay Youngblood. In the end we see Jimmy Hart distract Jay for the Anvil to knee Mark in the back of the head before rolling him up with a hand full of tights for the 1…2….3! The Harts work the crowd as Jesse and Gorilla put over how they would be great opponents for the tag team champions. *COMMERCIAL* -MSG is back with Ted Dibiase in the ring. We then see the entrance of Nick Bockwinkel who comes out to some major heat. The crowd knows him well and he even wears out the old World title belt. Heenan is showing it to everyone an Dibiase doesn’t seem amused. Ted Dibiase vs Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby Heenan -A really great 22-minute contest with a commercial break during the contest. Bock and Dibiase really put together a fun contest and we get to see glimpses of Babyface Ted Dibiase but it is only a glimpse. Bockwinkel is really on a role right now and perhaps at his best. Heenan is outside the ring just gushing for the fans. We see a pretty even battle until the final moments as Dibiase is looking to finish and even goes for the Figure Four Leg Lock but Bockwinkel rolls through and Heenan is pushing on him for leverage for the 1…2….3! Bock gets the win and rolls out of the ring. He and Heenan embrace! They hold up the title. This is complete garbage as Dibiase is irate. *COMMERCIAL* -Jesse and Gorilla put over the events thus far. They talk about how Dibiase has stormed out of the building. They put over how Bockwinkel is going to have to answer to the Hulkster at some point about the World Title and they can’t wait for that match to happen. They put over the Tag Team Titles and talk about the Bulldogs and their issues with the Harts and the Russians. They say that Orton and Slater may be number one contenders but the Russians get the chance tonight as we cut to the ring. TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs © vs The Russians -Unlike usual, we see the team of Nikita and Krusher Kruschev instead of Uncle Ivan is going to be taking on the Sarge later on. We get a fun little 11-minute hard-hitting affair. Dynamite and Davey Boy don’t back down to the much bigger Russians. We get to see Nikita do some work but he just isn’t there yet. Krusher does a majority of the world but he doesn’t have enough to get it done. We see Jimmy Hart and the Harts come back out and they pull Dynamite off the ring and attack him! The referee is calling for the bell as it is 2 on 1 outside the ring and 2 on 1 inside the ring with the Russians taking out Davey Boy! Officials and agents come out to break things up as this one is about to break loose but here comes the Guerreros! The three of them come out to break things up and we have got even odds here and the crowd pops! Oh my! *COMMERCIAL* PIPER’S PIT -We are back and Roddy Piper is in the ring with Bob Orton. They are putting themselves through the roof and talking about the Samoans and there seems to be a contingent in the audience who is letting Piper know just how they feel. Piper welcomes out his guest… -Haku comes out and Piper continues to make fun of his name as Orton just giggles behind him. We get a couple of minutes of insults as Piper will ask him a question but not give him the chance to answer and pull the microphone away. Haku then stands up when Piper crosses the line and Orton comes out of nowhere with a right hand to the jaw! Haku turns and no sells it! He goes after Orton and looks to kill him as we see Piper come from behind with a wooden stool and break it over his back! It doesn’t take long before Jimmy Snuka and Tonga Kid come running out and Piper and Orton back off. Haku gets up and he has got blood coming from his mouth but he is ready for a fight and Orton and Piper back off! Jesse and Gorilla put this through the roof! *COMMERCIAL* -We are back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the Piper’s Pit and talk about how Piper is going to have to pay if he keeps running his mouth. They talk about him and Snuka having a showdown at some point down the line and just how important it is going to be. They put over next weekend’s show with Boston on Saturday and then the WWF debut in Chicago, Illinois at the UIC Pavilion on Sunday night. They talk about all three titles being on the line that night as we cut to our next title match. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Jerry Briscoe vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman -A simple enough contest with these guys getting 15-minutes. Jerry just isn’t the best when it comes to singles action against a guy like Gino. He needs some more flash to showcase his abilities. They put over the big showcase with him and Randy Savage that has to happen at some point and they have to put the title on the line. We see Jerry try and finish him off but Gino is able to get out and nail a nasty brainbuster that shakes the ring for the 1….2….3! The crowd isn’t having it as Hernandez and Woman just woo the crowd and work them up as Gorilla and Jesse put over how this could be the IC champion for a long time unless something drastically changes! *COMMERCIAL* -Jesse and Gorilla really put over the night’s action. They talk about the title matches and the issues that have yet to be settled but rather fueled from tonight. They talk about a feud that may never end when it comes to Bobby Heenan trying to destroy Hulk Hogan. They put over Bockwinkel and how he has got that title and says that he is champion. They know Hogan wants to get him in the ring but he has to recognize the title as a world title for it to happen and for it to be a unification bout. We then cut to the ring for our huge six-man main event! MAIN EVENT SIX-MAN TAG Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, & Tony Atlas vs Big John Studd, Hercules, & King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan -What a way to finish things off here tonight with six of the biggest stars in the WWF. It is a fun 17-minute contest with Hogan just oozing star quality and Andre showing why he is the biggest attraction in wrestling. The match really breaks down to Hogan and Atlas doing a majority of the work with Hercules but the showcase of the contest is when Andre gets in there with Bundy and then Studd. As the match goes on, things begin to break down and we see Andre get tied up in the ropes but the strength of Atlas and Hogan are able to get him out and that is all that is needed to turn the tide. Hogan and Atlas double tackle Studd and Bundy out of the ring and Andre picks up Hercules for a huge powerslam for the 1….2….3! Andre and company have won as the Heenan Family backs up. In the entryway we see Nick Bockwinkel come out and hold the title up in the air. Hogan is welcoming him in the ring as we see the Family around Bock… when is this one going to happen!?! Gorilla and Jesse put it over in the biggest way as we sign off for the night. **MATCHES THAT HAPPENED BUT DIDN’T AIR** The One Man Gang w/ Kevin Sullivan defeated Brutus Beefcake Ivan Koloff defeated Sgt. Slaughter when Nikita hit him with the Russian Chain Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth defeated The Masked Superstar CAGE MATCH Jack Briscoe defeated Dory Funk Jr. in a bloody 15-minute match in which, Funk couldn’t answer the count and Briscoe walked out of the cage.
  14. WWF Superstars Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from Allentown, PA – Agricultural Hall Vince: Welcome everyone to Allentown, Pennsylvania! We are here at the Agricultural Hall and Jesse what a night we’ve got in store for the fans. Jesse: That’s right McMahon and we are just hours away from the big showdown in Madison Square Garden tonight! Vince: We will definitely be talking about that show here in a little bit, tonight on tap we have got Nikita Koloff, along with the Barbarian and Kevin Sullivan in action! Jesse: Plus that big main event with Randy Savage taking on Dick Slater! Vince: Right now we’ve got the SUPERFLY in action! Let’s head to the ring! Jimmy Snuka defeated Dominic DeNucci -The Superfly is here and he looks good tonight against DeNucci. Jesse and Vince put over the feud with Piper and the recent happenings in Houston where a fan got involved. Roddy Piper supposedly has that fan booked for Piper’s pit tonight! They wonder just what Piper will do as we see Snuka work over Dominic and finish him off with the big Superfly Splash for the 1…2….3! Will we see fireworks in the Pit tonight?!?! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Vince and Jesse putting Nikita Koloff through the roof. They talk about his success with his Uncle Ivan as a tag team but point out what he could become as a singles star. They put over the issue with the Russians and Sgt. Slaughter along with the Guerreros. We get to see Nikita in action tonight as we head to the ring. Nikita Koloff w/ Ivan Koloff defeated Brian Blair -Nikita is just a complete monster. It is about 3-minutes as Blair goes for some dropkicks. He goes for some shots but Nikita is no selling everything and then hits a Russian Sickle that just takes Blair’s head off. It is a 3 count and a victory for Nikita who just looks absolutely unstoppable. Who can even control this guy? *COMMERCIAL* TONIGHT ON THE MSG NETWORK! CAGE MATCH Jack Briscoe vs Dory Funk Jr. SIX-MAN TAG*** Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, & Tony Atlas vs Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, & Hercules w/ Bobby Heenan INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP*** Jerry Briscoe vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP*** The British Bulldogs © vs The Russians Ted Dibiase vs Nick Bockwinkel*** Sgt. Slaughter vs Ivan Koloff Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Masked Superstar The Youngbloods vs The Hart Foundation w/ Jimmy Hart*** Brutus Beefcake vs The One Man Gang PIPER’S PIT! *** *** -These matches and segments will be televised on the MSG Network. *COMMERCIAL* -Vince and Jesse put over the show on the MSG Network tonight in a huge way. They talk about the Army of Darkness and the power that they posses. They put over who the head of the serpent is as we get to see Sullivan and the Barbarian in action tonight! The Barbarian & Kevin Sullivan defeated SD Jones & Omar Atlas -Nothing pretty as we see Sullivan coming out acting like a weirdo. He has got the paint on his face as he guides the Barbarian through this handicap match for all intensive purposes. We see Barb just completely tear these guys apart and finish off Atlas with a shoulder breaker for the 1…2….3! Sullivan works the crowd as Barb looks very intense tonight and could spell trouble for anyone in his path… *COMMERCIAL* -Jesse and Vince are back as they put over the night’s action. The really pump up the MSG card tonight and put over how anything could happen. Inside the ring tonight for our main event we have got a big one with Randy Savage and Dick Slater! Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Dick Slater -A really fun main event tonight as the story goes with Jesse putting over how Jimmy Hart has sold the contract of Dick Slater after his loss to Hulk Hogan last week in Houston. We also get an inset interview from Gino Hernandez who puts himself through the roof and talks about how Woman is open to a date with Gino and Elizabeth because she is only half the woman she is. Vince and Jesse put over how Savage will have a hard time focusing on Gino when it comes to the issues with Woman and Elizabeth. Inside the ring tonight, Savage has got a pretty hard fought battle with Slater. Dirty Dick is trying everything he can but it is Savage who counters every move and then sets him up for a FLYING ELBOW DROP for the 1….2….3! Savage works the crowd as he and Elizabeth look amazing tonight as Vince and Jesse put over the showdown in MSG coming at you on the MSG Network tonight!

Taue smiled and shook his hand before Kawada pulled him in really close… headbutts him and then hits a DDT! The HDA and Revolution look on as Kawada walks off to an ovation from the crowd! In the aisle we see Misawa and Kobashi there as Kawada shakes their hands... it is the SUPER GENERATION ARMY!

  17. WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from Allentown, PA – Agricultural Hall Gorilla: Welcome everyone to Wrestling Challenge! Gorilla Monsoon here alongside Bobby the Brain Heenan. Brain I was told you had a meeting with WWF officials this week regarding that belt that Nick Bockwinkel is carrying around! Heenan: You are wrong Monsoon… it is a TITLE… and even though the WWF won’t recognize it, we all know that Nick Bockwinkel is the true world heavyweight champion. He never lost the title. Hogan is a FRAUD! Gorilla: Oh please… I think before too long, the Hulkster will get his chance to shut Bockwinkel and you up for good! Heenan: No Monsoon… our lawyers have told us… they have guided us on this… we won’t be in the ring with Hulk Hogan unless it is a unification bout! He has to recognize the title or else we will continue to walk around and once he does recognize it, we will sign the contract and the biggest match in the history of wrestling will take place. Gorilla: Well… sounds like things are in order… I guess we just need Hulk Hogan to go against all of his morals and accept that this guy walks around as a champion even though he isn’t! Heenan: You are just full out sour bananas Monsoon! Gorilla: That is better than what you are full of… right now we’ve got six-man tag team action with the Guerreros! Let’s go to the ring. The Guerreros (Chavo, Hector, & Mando) defeated The Invaders -Good showcase for these three who are embroiled in a feud with the Russians right now as they also have issues with Sgt. Slaughter. Chavo is the man here and we see him lock in the Gory Special for the victory. The Guerreros do look good but how good can they be against some of the toughest competition here in the WWF? *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Heenan putting over the Masked Superstar in a big way. They talk about him having another shot at Hulk Hogan down the line. They put over Big Fred Ottman and how he has been putting up a good fight week in and week out but can’t seem to get over the victory hump. We see him against the Masked Superstar this week! Masked Superstar defeated Big Fred Ottman -Another fun contest with Big Fred showing off the goods here, as he is just humungous. Masked Superstar has got the power though and we see him put an end to Big Fred when he locks in the Cobra Clutch and slams him down! 1…2….3 and Masked Superstar continues to look good as he builds himself back up to a shot against the Hulkster! *COMMERCIAL* EVENT CENTER TONIGHT IN THE MEADOWLANDS MAIN EVENT Hulk Hogan vs Nick Bockwinkel & Bobby Heenan INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Jack Briscoe vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs © vs The Barbarian & The One Man Gang w/ Kevin Sullivan Randy Macho Man Savage w/ Woman vs Big John Studd w/ Bobby Heenan Sgt. They put over the power that Kevin Sullivan has over him and how Sullivan says he still has the head of the serpent to reveal. They talk about how Gang has been unbeatable since coming to the WWF and wonder just how far his grasp will go under the rule of Kevin Sullivan.. The One Man Gang w/ Kevin Sullivan vs Barry Horowitz & Bob Bradley -The Gang looks especially nasty here tonight as he just rocks Horowitz and Bradley with some blubbing rights and lefts. He just destroys both men in the corner before hitting a double 747 slam on both men that shapes the ring. The Gang is the winner and Sullivan’s army looks stronger than ever… but who is the head of the serpent? *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back as Gorilla and Heenan put over the IC champion and talk about how Hernandez defends the title week in and week out against the top competitors in the WWF. They put over Tony Atlas as a man who is looking to get his hands on the title in the future and not to discount Randy Savage who still has issue with Gino Hernandez over his disparaging remarks about Ms. Elizabeth. We get to see the champion in action tonight as we head to the ring. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Brutus Beefcake vs Gino Hernandez w/ Woman -A solid Main Event tonight with Gino looking so good in the ring and Woman looking SO GOOD outside the ring. Brutus Beefcake just hasn’t come into his own yet as he tries to get in some offense but it is Hernandez’ show and we see why he is one of the best in the world right now. He finishes things off with a stalling brainbuster and then an elbow drop off the ropes for the 1…2…3! Gino and Woman work the crowd and let everyone know why they are the cream of the crop. What does the future of the title hold though as there are a lot of challengers who want a shot at that championship! We will see you tomorrow for Superstars!
  18. Andre in the WWF on October the 6th for Boston and the 7th for the WWF debut in Chicago please.
  19. Not a problem man. I know you're busy.
  20. Kevin October rain November low blow December
  21. Giant Baba has been working to get back into ring shape and possibly take the book from Misawa but things appear to be going ahead as follows right now. There could be a major shake up with the recent success if Baba doesn't have faith in Misawa as the booker. The "angle" with regards to Kawada, the Super Generation Army, the Holy Demon Army, and Revolution is said to be the key point for the rest of the year. No one knows how it will end up and who will come out as the main victor as Kawada is being pushed as a major star and a building block against the current champion Misawa. Some wonder that if Misawa builds him up to only defeat him, will it be enough for Baba to resume control. If Misawa loses to Kawada, could Baba see that as evidence that Misawa can't take the pressure of champion/booker at the same time.
  22. We will wait for boon to pop in, if he doesn't by Oct 1st, I think I have enough to get it going. I will give him until the 30th and if not then I will make the thread and go from there.
  23. Some interesting pairings throughout the USWA. I think it is time to pull the trigger on Dusty, even if he isn't the best option for the title but Sheiky baby's transition has come and gone imo. I like the show still, just can't buy him at this point with what else you've got.
  24. Interesting situation with Armand having to leave. Then you've got Ray losing the submission match. The Rougeau's need to regroup in Lutte or things may get worse!
