Vince: We will see about that… plus we will hear from World Champion Hulk Hogan… Ventura: He may be your world champion but my world champion is the undisputed one… Nick Bockwinkel! Vince: They will be in action tonight in Philadelphia… plus we will see Randy Savage and Gino Hernandez in action for the Intercontinental Championship… right now Savage is in action, let’s head to the ring! Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth defeated Johnny Rivera -The Macho Man is live here tonight and he looks to be in the best shape of his career. Vince and Jesse talk about Elizabeth vs Woman and who people prefer. Vince puts over Elizabeth’s lady-like ability and Jesse says she may be a lady but Woman is a vixen! We see Savage work over Rivera with no problem and hit a flying elbow from across the ring for the 1…..2….3!! He works the crowd as Vince and Jesse put over his chances to take the title from Gino tonight in Philly! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Jesse and Vince putting over the big IC title match tonight along with the big world championship match. They talk about the Army of Darkness and Kevin Sullivan’s group. They put over how he talked about the head of the serpent and wonder just what that means. Whatever it does mean… the One Man Gang is here and ready for action. The One Man Gang w/ Kevin Sullivan defeated Big Fred Ottman -This one is a fun back and forth with Gang and Ottman going toe-to-toe. Big Fred just isn’t giving an inch but the Gang is just too much for him. We see the Gang move like one of the best big men in the world and he takes advantage of the young Ottman and then nails a big belly to belly side slam. He then hits the ropes for the 747 and the 1….2….3! Gang and Sullivan celebrate while Big Fred looks good this week but just couldn’t get it done! *COMMERCIAL* TONIGHT IN PHILLY Gino Hernandez: Randy Savage… let me introduce you to the FIRST and the ONLY WOMAN of professional wrestling! This WOMAN right here is not only the most ravishing and sexiest woman alive but she knows what it takes to take a man to the top and make him feel like a king! Tonight in Philadelphia, she is going to be ringside to watch it all go down and then we’re going to celebrate… the real MACHO WAY! HAHAH! Woman: And Elizabeth… if I were you… I would stay as far away from ringside as possible! Randy Savage: Well, well, well…. Looks like the threats are coming from the left and from the right. Gino Hernandez… you hid behind that championship belt like you hide behind that woman. I am not afraid of any man and I am certainly not afraid of any Woman and neither is Elizabeth! Now you want to throw out threats… we are in the city of brotherly love tonight but brother there will be no love… there will be BLOOD! The title may be on the line but I am coming for more… and I AM GOING TO TAKE IT ALL! OHHHH YEEEEAAAAHHHH! Nick Bockwinkel: Tonight the world will stand on its heels until they hear the result of the biggest match in the history of pro wrestling. They will wait patiently to hear who will walk out of Philadelphia’s Spectrum as the undisputed world heavyweight champion… will it be the true world champion Nick Bockwinkel or the imposter… the paper champion… the man who holds the WWF title belt hostage… Hulk Hogan? Well let me tell you something Mr. Hogan… tonight I won’t need the family but they will be near. I won’t need Bobby Heenan but he will be ringside. I won’t need to humiliate you… but I will and I WILL walk out of Philadelphia as the rightful and righteous and UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! Hulk Hogan: I have got the goose bumps up and down my spine right now in anticipation! Nick Bockwinkel, your challenge has been accepted brother and there is not a man in the world who is going to stop you from facing the strongest force in the world tonight in Philadelphia dude. I want you to know right now that I am not coming in just to defend the title brother, I am coming to show the world why I am the number one man in all of professional wrestling. From Tokyo to London to New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between… the world is talking about Hulkamania and the strongest force in the world! You can bring the family! You can bring the weasel! But when push comes to shove what are you going to do when HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU!! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Vince and Jesse really pumping up the big event tonight in Philadelphia. Jesse says he could go either way with Hernandez vs Savage but thinks that Bockwinkel has just what it takes to get the undisputed crown tonight. Vince says it is going to take a lot more than that to defeat the Hulkster and would bet all he has on Hulkamania running wild again tonight… right now we get to see Sgt. Slaughter in action. Sgt. Slaughter defeated Bob Bradley -A simple enough showcase for the Sarge as Jesse and Vince talk about his issues with the Russians. They put over how Sarge and Ivan Koloff have a long history and would like to see it come to head at some point. It is the classic American vs Russian feud that has been a focal point for years. We see him handle Bradley pretty well and finish things off with the cobra clutch for the submission! Sarge salutes the crowd as Jesse and Vince put this through the roof. *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with footage from the recent issues with Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka. We see the issues from Piper’s Pit and the set up of the big one here tonight as Piper is set to take on the Tonga Kid. Vince and Jesse talk about the issue and they say that Piper is looking to disturb the peace any way he can and Snuka is a man with a plan. It is our main event and it is next! The Tonga Kid vs Roddy Piper -Early on we get to see just how far Piper is willing to go as he is ripping and tearing at the Tonga Kid. He takes him outside the ring and runs him into the ring post for extra measure and this brings out Jimmy Snuka. Superfly is trying to help Tonga but Piper is just aging him on and the crowd wants to see it! We get a couple more minutes of actin but it is Piper who is trying to humiliate Tonga Kid and Snuka can’t take it anymore! Snuka jumps in the ring and HERE WE GO! Piper and Snuka are going at it and the crowd is going nuts! Vince and Jesse are going wild as we see officials and agents come down to break things up. Piper gets outside the ring and he grabs the ring bell! This one is pure chaos right now… Vince and Jesse put over the big how tonight in Philadelphia!

This brought out Tenryu and Revolution who challenges Taue and the Holy Demon Army. Tenryu also told Kawada to pick his place and make a decision. The group includes Sullivan but also The One Man Gang and The Barbarian. These big, powerful, monsters all follow the guise of Kevin Sullivan. He really puts his men over and Sullivan is shown talking about the serpent coming together but the face of the serpent is about to be complete and all will bow in his presence. *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Heenan putting over this Army of Darkness. Bobby does a great job discussing the difference between the Heenan Family, The Hart Foundation, and The Army of Darkness. All have strengths but only one has the Brain in his words. Gorilla laughs it off as we cut to the ring for tag team action. Kevin Sullivan & The Barbarian vs Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell -The Army is here and they look great. Blair and Brunzell continue to impress but just can’t match the size of Barbarian and the mental game of Sullivan.. We see them turn up the pace but the strength is just too much. We see a the Barbarian pick up Blair on his shoulders and then Sullivan flies off the top rope with a shoulder block and he goes end over end for the 1…2….3!! Sullivan acts crazy inside the ring, as these guys look stronger than ever! *COMMERCIAL* -WC returns with footage from Bret Hart’s recent happenings with Jimmy Hart. We see the promo from last week in which he called out Jim Neidhart. Gorilla and Bobby really put this over. Gorilla says it is the wrong move but Heenan says he is getting the money he deserves now. Gorilla says it is not always about the money but pride and Heenan says he takes PRIDE in all his MONEY! SIX MAN TAG The British Bulldogs & Jim Neidhart vs Bret Hart, Bob Orton, & Dick Slater w/ Jimmy Hart -A big time six-man tag team match with everyone having something to prove here. Gorilla and Bobby talk about the World Tag Team Championship and the British Bulldogs title victory a week ago. They talk about Jimmy Hart’s Hart Foundation growing but there have been rumblings of Orton and Slater not being happy Hart was looking for another tag team. Inside the ring tonight, the Bulldogs look to be going right off that momentum they had a week ago. We get to see Jim Neidhart against Bret and it is a nice little showcase but the Anvil looks to tweak his knee and has to tag out. This one goes about 14-minutes and in the end we see the Bulldogs looking to finish. We get a little bit of chaos but the Bulldogs look to put things away however the Anvil seems to be healthy and wants back in. Dynamite makes the tag and the Anvil hits the ropes and then a flying shoulder block on Dynamite! He goes flying out of the ring! Davey Boy can’t believe it as Bret Hart clips his knee! Davey Boy goes down before Neidhart picks him up and SPINEBUSTER! Orton and Slater hold on to Dynamite while we see Neidhart pick up Davey Boy for Bret Hart who hits the ropes and flying clothesline for the 1….2….3! Neidhart and Bret then watch as Slater and Orton pick up Davey Boy and SPIKE PILEDRIVER! We see Jimmy Hart going nuts shaking and hugging everyone. Gorilla is irate while Heenan says this is the greatest thing he’s ever seen! What in the world is Jim Neidhart doing?

  6. That's true and Punk was too overzealous. I do not think he has a future in MMA but I am happy to see him give it a shot. He went in balls to the wall and got outclassed. IF he fights again, I will tune in again... if he doesn't, won't bother me any.
  7. Didn't Brock tap in his first UFC fight too?
  8. Yeah I think the only way is to add in some emotional pieces to the feuds. With the HDR and Revolution back and Kawada walking the line... it is really the biggest thing to get the wrestling an extra boost... even if it isn't "kosher" with how Japan is run. Anytime there can be some emotion and history added to to the match, it will make it better.
  9. WWF News -Word has it that Ted Dibiase has asked to be released from his contract from the WWF. He is said to be unhappy with his recent bookings and wants out. He has already been in talks with Bill Watts to come back and there were even discussions with the AWA to return as their top star. There are also reports of Dibiase being looked at by Giant Baba in Japan. The Funks have a lot of clout in Japan and there may be discussions of Dibiase being a full timer there and then coming in for a couple of months at a time in the US. -We saw the turn of both Bret Hart this past week on television. He was slated to work with Jimmy Hart for the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup and then it was built this weekend on television. Hart is expected to have a major role in the WWF and his eventual feud with Jim Neidhart is going to be major in the fall. -There were a lot of people surprised to see John Nord back in the WWF but it appears as though it is going to end up being short lived. He has already had issues with management about his position in the group with Kevin Sullivan and wants to be booked as a singles star. He was actually taken off television this week and substituted with Sullivan and taken off house shows. We will see where he ends up in the future. - Hulk Hogan is in continuous talks to do tours as the WWF Champion in Japan. Nothing has been cleared yet by McMahon and the WWF but the exposure could help Hogan and the WWF if they decide to team up and do some shows in Japan. -No word on if Terry Funk will come in and work with the WWF for this Funk vs Briscoe feud... no one has heard from Terry since his retirement but many within the WWF are hoping that Dory can talk him into a comeback for the feud. -WWF has plans to utilize Dick Slater and Bob Orton in different roles as it was seen this week. They lost the tag titles to the British Bulldogs who are expected to have a nice run with the titles which have been called the hot potatoes as of late. There are already bookings with Bob Orton teaming with Roddy Piper and Slater having a short run with Hulk Hogan.
  10. (10.09.1995) AJPW Summer Action Series II 1995 - Tag 17 @ Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan Akira Nogami defeated Norio Honago ALL ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori © defeated Ryukaku Izumida & Harua Eigan Stan Hansen defeated Kenta Kobashi – Kobashi seemed to have hurt his ribs during the match. ALL JAPAN Jr. HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET Black Tiger defeated Ultimo Dragon @ 14:54! ALL JAPAN Jr. HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT FINALS Black Tiger defeated Ultimo Dragon @16:23 to become the NEW ALL JAPAN Jr. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!! EIGHT MAN SURVIVAL TAG TEAM REVOLUTION – Tenryu, Ogawa, Fuyuki, & Kitihara Defeated HOLY DEMON ARMY – Taue, Fuchi, Kikushi, & Masao Inoue TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP Mitsuhara Misawa © defeated Toshiaki Kawada -The moment happened when Tenryu came out with Revolution & Taue came out with the Holy Demon Army as they surrounded the ring to watch the match. Kobashi was also out with Akiyama but it was a story of what happened inside the ring. Kawada wouldn’t take the help of Tenryu or Taue and it was a final distraction that led to a Tiger Driver that led to Misawa getting the victory! It was after the fall that Misawa, Kobashi, and Akiyama but then the HDR and Revolution came in the ring and it was Tenryu and Taue arguing with Kawada before he walked out. We then saw a quick continuation of the eight-man tag we saw earlier as the show closed.
  11. I really enjoy the smaller shows for Lutte here. Nice to see the Sheepherders come in. I think you have got some nice talent with them and the Rougeuas and the Midnights to build off of. Very good stuff all around.
  12. I like the situation with Dr. Death and Gordy. Even though it is earlier than it happened in real life, these guys, during this time, would have been a helluva young hoss team. I will be honest though "USWA WOLRD TITLE: The Iron Sheik vs Brian Adias" - This just doesn't scream main event to me. I know Sheik is transitional but with so much talent around, this is devaluing your world title in a big way in my opinion. I only hope business doesn't drop too much for when the real change happens.
  13. We talked about it privately, but the "loan" work we did has paid off in a big way with the Ugandan Giant coming into the AWA. He is a legit threat right off the bat and someone who will turn the tide in the AWA if used correctly, which there will be no doubt that he will be under your tutelage.

  15. WWF Superstars Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium Vince McMahon: Welcome everyone to the Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis, Missouri! I am Vince McMahon alongside Jesse the Body Ventura. Jesse we have got some big time action tonight including footage of the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup and Bret Hart in action! Jesse: I hear that it isn’t what happened inside the ring that was as important as what happened outside the ring McMahon! Vince: We will see what happens with that as the night goes on. Plus tonight we will see Hulk Hogan in action! Jesse: I don’t know McMahon… I think Hogan is still shaking from what happened at the hands of Nick Bockwinkel! Vince: We saw the former champion return last week in Madison Square Garden… it was quite the scene. Fans we have got a big match coming up right now as the tag team titles are on the line… let’s head to the ring… WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs vs Bob Orton & Dick Slater © w/ Jimmy Hart -A big time main event here from the Kiel Auditorium as Vince and Jesse give us a different point of view on this match from yesterday’s Wrestling Challenge. They put over Jimmy Hart’s decision with Bret Hart here on Superstars and talk about the Hulkster being in action.Inside the ring here, we see a great 12-minute contest. We see Jimmy Hart trying to get involved but it is both Jack and Jerry Briscoe who come out and chase him off. This is the perfect distraction for the Bulldogs as Dick Slater is looking at Hart but when he turns around Dynamite Kid dropkicks him in the chest and then a roll up for the 1….2…3! WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The crowd pops in a big way, as Vince and Jesse put this over in a big way! Davey and Dynamite hold the titles high in the air as the fans are giving them a great ovation and Slater and Orton have no clue what has just happened! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Jesse and Vince putting over the big World Tag Title win of the Bulldogs and the on-going issue with Jack Briscoe and Dory Funk. Jesse says that somewhere down the line these two are going to go at it and only one man will walk out! Vince puts over Dory’s allegiance with Jimmy Hart as they turn their attention to Bret Hart. They talk about his run in the tournament with wins over Don Muraco and Buddy Landell. They talk about the upcoming match with Tito Santana as they send it to the footage. (Match shown in clips due to time constraints) Tito Santana (AWA) vs Bret Hart (w/Jimmy Hart) (WWF) An excellent battle was to be anticipated in this match and it lived up to the hype. Both men’s cardio were definitely put to the test but no worries as Santana & Bret are arguably 2 of the fittest men in pro wrestling. They treated the fans to a wrestling clinic throughout the duration of their match. Jimmy Hart tried to interfere towards the end of the match but Tito nailed him with the Flying Forearm Smash and put him out of commission for the remainder of the match. Tito nailed Bret with the Flying Forearm Smash for the nearfall. Then, Bret was able to hit Tito with the 2nd rope flying clothesline and only got a 2 count. Multiple rollups and small packages exchanged in the final moments. Tito finally nailed Bret with a second Flying Forearm Smash but couldn’t get the 3 count before the time limit expires! Unfortunately, the match is a draw but the audience gave both men a well-deserved standing ovation on their way out. Time limit draw – both Tito Santana & Bret Hart are eliminated *COMMERCIAL* EVENT CENTER TONIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan Andre the Giant & Ted Dibiase vs Big John Studd & Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby Heenan Jimmy Snuka vs Roddy Piper Randy Savage vs The Masked Superstar INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Tony Atlas vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman NEXT WEEK IN PHILADELPHIA WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs Nick Bockwinkel WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs © vs Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman THE DECISION- BRET HART & JIMMY HART -Jimmy Hart officially signs Bret Hart to a contract. Bret tells Jim Neidhart that he has a choice to make. Next week on Challenge, we will see a six-man tag with Bret, Orton, & Slater taking on the Bulldogs & Jim Neidhart. He better make the right decision before the match even starts! WHO IS KEVIN SULLIVAN? -Mean Gene puts over the debut of Kevin Sullivan. He talks about his love of dark magic. He is known as a man who will go for what he wants by any means necessary. He has brought with him the One Man Gang and that isn’t all. He has got a group of men who have nothing but pain and destruction on their mind. Who will be their first target? TED DIBIASE… CHANGE OF HEART? Ted Dibiase: This is Ted Dibiase fans and I have got something pressing on my mind. You know it was a mere month ago I found myself in the ring across from Hulk Hogan for the Heavyweight Championship of the World. I didn’t think my life could get better… when it fact it was one of my lowest points. I had sold out for everything to get where I was… and that just isn’t who I am. I am not out here to beg for forgiveness… I am not out here to preach to the choir… but I am here to let the world know that the real Ted Dibiase is going to be around form here on out… and if you get in my way… you are going to find out about it the hard way! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Jesse and Vince putting over the decision of Bret Hart to join Jimmy Hart… then challenge Jim Neidhart and the new tag team champions next week on Wrestling Challenge! Jesse says it was the best decision of his life and it is going to pay off with gold in the long run. They talk about the change of style for Ted Dibiase and what this could mean to his career as we cut to the ring for him in action… Ted Dibiase defeated Barry Horowitz -A great showcase for Dibiase who still gets some boos, as these promos haven’t aired for these fans yet. Jesse and Vince put him over as a babyface as we see him work well in the ring and then finish things off with the piledriver and the figure four leg lock for the submission. Dibiase is a man lost right now… will he get found? *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars returns with Vince and Jesse really putting the Hogan and Bockwinkel situation through the roof. They talk about the tag team title swap. The issue with Funk and Briscoe. The decision of Bret Hart. It has been a very busy weekend and what a way to cap it off but with the World Champion in action as we cut to the ring… Hulk Hogan vs Hercules w/ Bobby Heenan -A huge main event for Superstars tonight as we see the Hulkster do battle with Hercules Hernandez. This one goes about 10-minutes and we get to see the big selling power of the Hulkster who makes Hercules look good tonight but it is the Hulkster’s show. We see him Hulk up and make the big comeback before hitting the AXE BOMBER… but once he goes to hit the ropes it is Nick Bockwinkel there to grab his leg! Hogan goes out to make chse for Bock as Hercules comes back around and nails him in the back with the chain! It is a DQ victory for the Hulkster as the 2 on 1 beatdown ensues but Hogan fights his way back and hammers at both men sending them reeling. He can’t wait to get his hands on Bock who flees the scene. He holds up HIS world title belt and tells Hogan “I AM THE REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION!!!” Jesse and McMahon put this through the roof as they sign off.
  16. The big thing about the title change is that it was the "first" taping in St. Louis, so it made perfect sense to hype up the crowd in that way. Sullivan has fully stepped in the same role that Lord Alfred had and has already had more success.
  17. WWF on Tour 9/8/1984 Boston, MA – The Boston Garden MAIN EVENT Hulk Hogan & Andre the Giant defeated King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Tony Atlas INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman defeated Jimmy Snuka –Roddy Piper interfered The British Bulldogs defeated Bob Orton, Dick Slater, & Jimmy Hart
  18. WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium Gorilla: Welcome everyone to WRESTLING CHALLENGE! Gorilla Monsoon here alongside Bobby the Brain Heenan. Brain, you look awfully happy after what you did to the Hulkster last week. Heenan: Monsoon, it was the greatest moment of my life. Nick Bockwinkel, the REAL WORLD CHAMPION IS BACK! Gorilla: So let me get this straight… you think since Bockwinkel was once a champion… he is still the champion? Heenan: No he is still the champion because he never lost the title! Hogan is a paper champion and I am on a crusade to show the world that he is nothing but a liar… a cheat… a phony! Gorilla: PLEASE! Hulk Hogan is one of the most honest and genuine men in the history of this sport and his title win is not varnished in any way, shape, or form! Heenan: You like all the others out there drink this invisible orange juice… well Hogan… I had a taste of it and it made me throw up… it is time for me to show the world just what a crook you are! Gorilla: I can’t believe this. Our fans know that you can’t tell the truth and couldn’t if your life depended on it. Fans we have got a special episode of Wrestling Challenge here today. A couple of weeks ago we saw a couple of members of the WWF go up to Toronto for the Johnny Rougeau Memorial tournament… during that tournament one of our own… Bret Hart made a heck of a run. Heenan: I think we all know Bret has talent… but he had just a little bit more in my opinion. Gorilla: Fans what we are about to see is pretty interesting as we get to see the Hitman as he is called in action… let’s go to the ring. Bret Hart (w/Jimmy Hart) (WWF) vs Don Muraco (AWA) -A similar situation like the previous match with the speed of Bret Hart takes on the strength of Don Muraco. One would think that Jimmy Hart would’ve been a distraction at ringside but he proved to be a non-factor as Bret Hart gets the win on Don Muraco at 4:27 after a 2nd rope clothesline. Winner: Bret Hart (4:27) – advances to 2nd round *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Bobby putting over this idea of Bret Hart joining up with Jimmy Hart. Bobby says it is the smartest business move he could have made and we will see just how well it pays off with his run in the tournament. Gorilla then turns the tide and talks about a newcomer to the WWF. He is over 500 pounds and has got a man managing his career that is known to be the most diabolical in the sport. He puts over the One Man Gang and Kevin Sullivan as we cut to the ring. The One Man Gang w/ Kevin Sullivan defeated Jose Rivera & Victor Rivera -Another showcase of the One Man Gang who is absolutely a monster but the real surprise is Kevin Sullivan who comes out with him. Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan put that over in a big way and before we know it, it is the Gang who hits a couple of 747 Splashes for the 1….2….3!! The Gang celebrates with a toned down, but still maniacal Kevin Sullivan… *COMMERCIAL* -The Bret Hart hour continues here with Gorilla and Bobby continuing to put over the Hitman. They put over his situation with Jimmy Hart and wonder what his friends the British Bulldogs and Jim Neidhart think about this. They put over the tag team title match here on WC in our main event as we cut to Bret’s second match of the tournament! (Match Shown in Clips due to time constraints) Bret Hart (w/Jimmy Hart) (WWF) vs Buddy Landell (w/Johnny V) (Memphis) -This probably was the best match of the night as the two mat technicians wrestled a clinic in front of the Montreal Forum faithful. One moment, Bret’s speed & mat savvy gave him the upper hand and the other, it was Buddy Landell’s in-ring experience that gave him the momentum. Bret got the nearfall after a beautiful 2nd rope elbow drop but tried it one time too many, allowing Landell to dodge the 2nd time. Landell got the chance to put Bret away with the Figure Four Leglock but Hart grabbed the rope and broke the submission. At the end of the match, Bret went for the flying clothesline and the pin but Johnny V climbed on the apron to distract the referee. Johnny V and Jimmy Hart got into it at ringside, distracting both the referee Adrien Desbois and Buddy Landell. Bret took Jimmy’s megaphone and clocked Landell with him, tossing the smoking gun out of the ring and pinning Landell at 15:00 to advance. Winner: Bret Hart (15:00) – advances to quarter-finals *COMMERCIAL* EVENT CENTER TONIGHT’S SHOW IN BOSTON MAIN EVENT Hulk Hogan & Andre the Giant vs King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd Tony Atlas vs Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby Heenan INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Jimmy Snuka vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman The British Bulldogs vs Bob Orton, Dick Slater, & Jimmy Hart Jack Briscoe vs Dory Funk Jr. TOMORROW NIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan Andre the Giant & Ted Dibiase vs Big John Studd & Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby Heenan Jimmy Snuka vs Roddy Piper Randy Savage vs The Masked Superstar INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Tony Atlas vs Gino Hernandez © w/ Woman BRET HART & JIMMY HART? -Mean Gene puts over the questionable formation of Jimmy Hart and Bret Hart. He talks about the rumors of Jimmy Hart offering him a blockbuster deal and giving Bret a tryout up in Canada only for him to make a decision within the next 24 hours. We will have Bret Hart’s decision tomorrow on Superstars! *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Bobby talking about this decision by Bret Hart. They talk about Superstars tomorrow being a big edition with Bret’s next tournament matches plus we will see Hulk Hogan in action against Hercules. They really hammer home on the big tag team championship match coming up as we head to the ring… WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs vs Bob Orton & Dick Slater © w/ Jimmy Hart -A big time main event here from the Kiel Auditorium as Gorilla and Bobby really put this one through the roof. They talk about Jimmy Hart and his possible association with Bret Hart. They talk about seeing how he finished up in the tournament tomorrow on Superstars along with Hulk Hogan in action. Inside the ring here, we see a great 12-minute contest. The crowd pops in a big way as Gorilla and Heenan can’t believe what we have just seen! Davey and Dynamite hold the titles high in the air as the fans are giving them a great ovation and Slater and Orton have no clue what has just happened! We will see you tomorrow on Superstars!

  24. You have really got things running on all cylinders. I applaud your ability to keep everything straight and aligned and easy to follow and keep up with. Just tremendous work here.
  25. It may seem like a small thing, but I am going to be running the exact schedule of All Japan, so if you want to be realistic, keep that in mind when scheduling your shows so we don't end up in the same arena on the same night. I could honestly care less about that aspect, but just for realism sake something to keep in mind. I think it's very unlikely that we end up running the same building on the same day if I'm doing 2 shows a month. You need to be worried more about the talent stealing aspect because I'm coming after Kawada who IRL was getting in trouble with Baba for wanting to work with UWFi Baba is out of action. Misawa has the book. Tenryu is back. Kawada is in good hands right now lol.
