1985 Fresh Faces
There are a couple more names on the list...we can continue to grow this list... but I also think that we have a huge piece of talent that isn't being used... Mexico. I think we could pull in some of the big names and throw them in here for this draft... or at least as free lancers or something...

Lutte Internationale July 1984
Always nice to see a scaffold match on the indy shows. The Masked Cowboys angle has hit a boiling point as well. Good to see Lutte continuing to build and grow.

Dirt Sheets
WWF News -Vince McMahon is said to be very happy with the way that the world title tournament has played out in the major cities. Expect next weeks, semi and finals to be big shows for the WWF. With the field set, Saturday's show in the Meadowlands will be headlined by Randy Savage taking on Ted Dibiase and Hulk Hogan taking on Big John Studd... with the winners of each match headlining the next night in Madison Square Garden. Local reports are such that if you bring your ticket stub from Saturday night to the Sunday show at the Garden, you will get a discount off from tickets not yet sold. -Expect more matches to be announced for Sunday's card on Superstars. The WWF does already locally advertise Andre the Giant being at the show along with a world tag team title rematch with the Briscoes taking on The Russians along with Gino Hernandez defending the IC title against Sgt. Slaughter. -There is talk of a feud ender with Sgt. Slaughter amassing a team to go up against Lord Alfred Hayes' bunch with Slaughter's career and Lord Alfred's managing license on the line. No word on the outcome as Sgt. Slaughter has recently voiced his opposition to his place on the card and would like to be showcased as a more premiere worker. Lord Alfred is not much for the road and could be used in an event center setting. - Those close to Vince McMahon said he was livid at the news of the CWA jumping from the NWA to join with the USWA. It is no secret that McMahon and current USWA figurehead Bill Watts have had their issues. Watts feels like McMahon stabbed him in the back while McMahon raided Watts' talent pool to re-figure the WWF. Randy Savage among others have dates in Memphis and this could cause a stir when it comes to bookings. Some even think that McMahon would send Savage to Knoxville to try and hurt CWA attendance. -Roddy Piper has been recently brought up as a name to go out on the road. Piper is being used heavily on WWF television but still has ties to the Portland area. No word on if the arrangement will come through. - A lot of new faces popping up in the WWF means that some could be out the door. Ivan Putski is one name floating around that may be looking for work in the not to distant future. Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty are two of the WWF's jobbers who may be fleeing the company to try and get a shot as regulars in the future. -With Jimmy Hart coming into the WWF, some have wondered how this will play a role in Bobby Heenan's future. Heenan and Hart are two prominent managers and some have said they have already spoken about talent and who will have what. Hart debuted this week with Orton and Slater and is expected to expand on that stable in the future.

Jesse: This is going to be one of the biggest matches on Superstars McMahon and I think there is a title change in the air. Vince: I think a lot of people feel the same way but the Briscoe Brothers are two of the toughest competitors in the world of wrestling and they may just pull it out. Jesse: Right McMahon, we will see… what I want to talk about is the World Title tournament. My pick won his match last night and he’s headed to East Rutherford New Jersey this Saturday night and I think he will be in MSG Sunday for the Title! Vince: I think you are referring to Ted Dibiase. He was successful last night and we will have those results coming up… right now it is time for tag team action with Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart! Bret Hart & Jim Nedhart defeated Kurt Von Hess & Brady Boone -A nice opening contest for Bret and Jim who have been teaming together more recently due to Davey Boy teaming up with Dynamite. We get to see these two work off of one another nicely and in the end they hit Von Hess with a nasty PowerSlam by Neidhart and then a middle rope elbow from Bret for the 1…..2…3! Vince really puts over the tag team divison and how everything could change right here tonight! *COMMERCIAL* EVENT CENTER LAST NIGHT’S EVENT FROM HOUSTON WORLD TITLE TOURNAMENT Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth defeated Roddy Piper via DQ when Piper tried to attack Elizabeth. They talk about 8 to 10 teams being contenders and tonight we will see it go down with the Briscoes and Orton and Slater. We cut to the ring for this big contest! WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Briscoe Brothers © vs Cowboy Bob Orton & Dirty Dick Slater -A huge main event as these four men get a little bit of time in the ring. It is about a 12-mintue affair and it is solid and smooth tag team wrestling. Vince McMahon puts over the experience and history of these four men wrestling throughout the country. We see Slater and Orton get the upperhand and advantage but the Briscoess come back with a great fire. Out of nowhere we see someone coming down to the ring… THAT’S JIMMY HART! He throws the Megaphone in to Orton who NAILS Jack Briscoes right between the eyes and he is busted open! The referee calls for the bell as Jimmy Hart is in there calling the shots. Jesse puts over how he is the one who got the contract for these guys and Vince doesn’t like the looks of this alliance with Orton and Slater! The titles may have not changed hands, but there is definitely more to come with these guys. Jesse and Vince put over the big night’s action in Los Angeles tonight… results will come to you from Wrestling Challenge next week!

UNITED STATES WRESTLING ASSOCIATION
Much like the current day brand split, there is some definite competitor inside the USWA between World Class and Mid South. I am interested to see what happens with some sleeper but great guys like Adams and Butch Reed. I could see them both being top tops in the USWA to go against someone like Lawler and the JYD. I am still amazed to see how well you are balancing the two rosters and all the talent. Keep doin work!

WWF on Tour July 1984
True dat I think he is probably the most versatile character in the history of wrestling. He was soooo good at so many things... managing, wrestling, color... he was simply the best and it is so awesome to be able to use him in every facet of the game.

WWF on Tour July 1984
I just think that when the WWF would run these loops, a nice way to get a small pop is to throw Heenan in... especially against Hogan.
