  4. As an update... the WWF sends Hillbilly Jim and Uncle Elmer to Memphis for Jack and Jerry Brisco
  5. Thanks patrick. In regards to the Briscos, it is a very front end loaded deal. They both retire in early 85 but have a ton of star power right now to get me to that point. Glad you liked the special... I am sure it is a bloated house show card but it could set the stage for a special event around march...

Gorilla: We will see that open challenge plus Randy Macho Man Savage will be taking on Rowdy Roddy Piper! Fan it is time to get things going, let’s head to the ring! Sgt. Slaughter vs The Barbarian w/ Lord Alfred Hayes -A really fun opener with the Sarge coming out to a huge ovation. The Barbarian looks like a complete monster here tonight. We get a nice 8-minute contest with the Sarge having to fight back against this monster of a man. Barbarian looks to finish off Sarge but he comes back with some big shots and then he clotheslines Barb out of the ring ot the floor. These two fight for a couple of seconds as Lord Alfred looks to nail Sarge with the cane, but he grabs it and pushes him away before hammering it into Barb’s belly and jumping back inside the ring as the referee counts to 10! Sarge is the winner via count out and the crowd pops as Gorilla and Jesse put him over in a big way. They talk about how he will be facing Big John Studd in Philly in the world title tournament. Gorilla says if he earned the shot he will get it! Tonight Rick Rude gets the chance of a lifetime and he is looking to cash in with the Brain by his side! INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Rick Martel © vs Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan -A really hot contest here as Rude is working a “Memphis” style, with a lot of taunting. Bobby Heenan is helping him get his physic over in a big way. Martel can work the crowd with the best of them though and the women in MSG love him. These two go 11-minutes but it is nothing special. We see a lot of Rude hitting power moves and then stalling. We get a couple of close comebacks from Martel but Heenan gets involved multiple times. In the closing moments we see Martel fighting back in a big way. He is looking to finish as he hoists Rude up and slams him down with a nice belly-to-belly suplex. He then locks in the Boston Crab and he is rocking back and forth. Rude is taping out and not soon enough as GINO HERNANDEZ RUNS INTO THE RING AND NAILS MARTEL! We have got a melee! Gino is hammering down on Martel and then he starts opening up on him with some big right hands! Gorilla and Jesse put it over as officials and agents run down and back him off. Somewhere down the line we will see these two go at it! *COMMERCIAL* -We are back at MSG as Gorilla and Jesse are putting over the WWF in a big way and this incoming feud with Andre the Giant and Big John Studd. Jesse puts over how this is the first time they will be meeting in the WWF. Gorilla puts over both teams and says this is a main event anywhere in the country. He talks about the ramifications of a match like this and what it could mean for 5 of these 6 guys being involved in the World Title Tournament. We cut to the ring for this huge match up… SIX-MAN TAG Andre the Giant, Tony Atlas, & Hacksaw Duggan vs Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, & Ted Dibiase w/ Bobby Heenan -Colossal is the word to describe this one as we have got some of the biggest names in the sport coming to the ring. These guys get about 18-minutes to put forth a great six-man contest. The wrestling takes place with Dibiase as he makes Atlas and Duggan look like stars. The spectacle is seeing Andre in there with Bundy and then Studd. The MSG crowd gets a TASTE of it but not too much of a bite. Gorilla and Jesse put it through the roof as Andre and Studd is about to explode. The anticipation mounts but settles as the match sets in for a while and then we get into the finish. Studd and Bundy have doubled up on Duggan and he is in a bad way but he is able to make a huge tag to Atlas who comes in line a house of fire. We get chaos in the ring before seeing Dibiase knee Atlas out of the ring to the floor. Andre hits a double clothesline on Studd and Bundy and they go out of the ring to the floor. Duggan out of nowhere with a huge flying shoulder block on Dibiase and he goes down before Andre with a SPLASH ON DIBIASE for the 1….2…3! Heenan is going nuts as he rejoins his men and they back up the aisle. We see Andre and company celebrate as Gorilla and Jesse put this through the roof! *COMMERCIAL* -We cut to quick footage from the injury that Killer Khan gave to Ricky Steamboat last week in Houston, Texas. We see Khan ramming Steamboat’s throat on the guardrail and then applying the nerve hold, which put him down and out. We cut to the arena where Lord Alfred Hayes is in the middle of the ring with Khan… Lord Alfred: Now you people do me the honor of keeping quiet. I have come here tonight with my men to prove a point that these wonders from around the world are the most dangerous and destructible in the world of professional wrestling. We showed Ricky Steamboat what we meant with that comment and here tonight, my Killer Khan has put forth an open challenge to any man who thinks they challenge him! Who will it be? Who is here? Who can challenge my man? -THE CROWD THEN POPS when we hear ‘Eye of the Tiger’ and here comes HULK HOGAN! He has got his white tights and blue boots and white American-Made shirt. Hogan gets into the ring and he works the crowd before Khan attacks him from behind! Hulk Hogan vs Killer Khan w/ Lord Alfred -A HOT start right now with Khan all over Hogan as he rips his shirt off and chokes him. Hogan is selling like he is suffocating for his life but makes a great move to duck through the ropes and take Khan outside of the ring. Hogan begins to get his bearings as Khan comes at him but Hogan moves and throws him into the ring post! These two fight outside of the ring for a moment and the crowd is going wild. Hogan throws him back into the ring as we get 8-minutes of solid action. The majority is Khan turning the table and breaking Hogan down but Hogan is building back up and then he goes crazy! He is punching and kicking and nailing Khan with everything he’s got and then a big BODYSLAM! Hogan goes to the ropes but Alfred Hayes nails him with the cane! Hogan then turns to Hayes and grabs him. Khan then reaches in his tights and pulls something out. The referee tries to stop him but gets pushed to the ground. Khan turns Hogan around and nails him with his thumb and that object right in the throat! Hogan goes down, selling hard and here comes Khan with another shot but Hogan back drops him over the top rope to the floor! He is trying to get himself together as Hayes is leading Khan to the back. This one is far from over! *COMMERCIAL* -MSG is back with Gorilla and Jesse going wild over the arrival of HULK HOGAN! Jesse says he can’t believe it and thinks he should be the one who is in the tournament. Gorilla says he should wipe the dust off the wrestling boots and step in there sometime if he feels so inclined. Jesse tells Gorilla not to test him. Speaking of tests, they put over the World Tag Team Titles and talk about the Brisco Brothers. Jesse talks about a little bit of tom-follery with the Russians putting in Krusher Kruschev instead of Nikita Koloff and they will have him outside the ring. TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry) vs The Russians (Ivan & Krusher Kruschev) w/ Nikita -A fun contest with the Briscos making their MSG debut and they are a little over but the Russians are getting some major heat. This one is a quick 13-minute contest with the Russians controlling most of the contest with Nikita getting in some shots outside the ring and being the third wheel. Jack and Jerry look good as a team and we see them come back with a huge fire under their asses and we see Ivan and Krusher reeling. The big highlight is seeing Jerry dropkick Ivan into Nikita on the apron. Krusher Krushev runs for a Russian Sickle but Jack ducks and grabs him for a backslide and the 1…2…3! WE HAVE NEW CHAMPIONS! THE BRISCOS HAVE WON THE TAG TEAM TITLES! The crowd pops as Jack and Jerry are holding the titles. Ivan cannot believe it as Nikita is going nuts. Krusher has no clue what has happened. They put over this big main event as we cut to the ring. MAIN EVENT Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Rowdy Roddy Piper -A great 20-minute contest that starts slow to get the fans back involved as we build to the huge climax of the night. We see Savage and Piper really put on a great contest with some good psychology. We see Piper attempt to go for Elizabeth on two occasions, as Savage is enraged against him. Piper looks to finish but Savage comes back in a big way. He hammers away and throws Piper to the floor. We even see Savage come off the top rope out of the ring onto Piper with a double axe handle. The crowd is going nuts here as out of the back we see Ted Dibiase come out of nowhere and hammer Savage from behind! Piper is holding the referee as Dibiase picks up Savage and BRAINBUSTER OUTSIDE THE RING ON THE FLOOR! Dibiase throws Savage into the ring as Piper then covers him for the 1…..2…..3! PIPER has won it as the crowd is irate. They are tossing debris in the ring as Piper and Dibiase then put the boots to Savage. They are hammering down on him until HULK HOGAN appears and he nails both men with right hands and sends them packing. Hogan helps Savage up as Savage is in a bad way. 12. Very upset to see this news Jhawk. WWA was a true classic territory. I know that everyone has a lot going on... all I ask is continue to do your best. We will keep the ship going forward. Update on others, I have contract JPrice who hasn't signed in since June 12th about Portland, so we will see what happens with him. Sutton has said he wants to take over Southeastern, just hasn't pulled the trigger yet. I will stay on top of it and get some more recruiting going.
  13. I agree. This is a small time promotion with major league players and some good angles moving forward. The flavor of the promotion is beyond unique which sets you apart from everyone else. Looking forward to our continued work together and the stars to come out of Lutte.

They are waiting to hear back from the doctors on the condition of Ricky Steamboat. Vince warns the fans and says that children may not be able to see this content…viewer discretion is advised… {We cut to footage from Houston last night with the “Texas Death Match” and Killer Khan vs Ricky Steamboat. We see both men bloodied and then the big moment when Killer Khan rams some kind of a pole into Steamboat’s throat! Steamboat goes down and then Khan applies that nerve hold to his throat and Steamboat is shown spitting up blood as the crowd is going nuts! We see officials and agents run down and pull back Khan as blood is all over his arm. Steamboat is stretchered out with the dreaded RED X over the bloody part of his face.} McMahon is back in the event center putting this through the roof. He then turns his attention to the issue with Lord Alfred Hayes and Davey Boy Smith. He puts over the angle and then shows the footage… {We cut to the ring with Lord Alfred Hayes in the ring with a very young William Regal. He talks about how Regal is from England and one of the brightest young talents in the world. He put over how he has traveled to Japan, Germany, China, and Russian to learn how to be the absolute best in the world and he will get there. Davey Boy comes out and Regal offers him an opportunity to team with Regal and “ride his coattails” to success he would never have dreamed of. He talks about how Lord Alfred has scouted the best English talent in the world and that Regal was number one and Davey was number two and he wants to put them together. Davey gets kind of tired of hearing it and says he doesn’t need a “slimy manager to steal his money!” Regal can’t believe it as Regal goes to throw a punch but Davey blocks it and he NAILS him him with a big right hand! The Barbarian and Viking are here! They run into the ring and Davey is trying to fight them off to no avail. It is a 3 on 1 beatdown here as Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart run out to the ring! We get a nice little brawl before Lord Alfred pulls his men out. Gorilla and Heenan put this over in a big way. Heenan says that Smith made the biggest mistake of his life but Gorilla says he has turned the corner and found some real friends!} Vince is back and he puts over the big card in Los Angeles tonight. MAIN EVENT Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Roddy Piper INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Rick Martel © vs Big John Studd w/ Bobby Heenan TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Tony Atlas & Sgt. He is a competitor and will do anything to win! McMahon puts his actions down and wonders if anyone can control him inside the ring or outside. They put over the Lord Alfred issue and talk about the Missing Link. The Missing Link w/ Lord Alfred Hayes defeated SD Jones -The Link is one weird dude. Outside of his green face and crazy mannerisms, he is devastating in the ring. Jesse puts over how there are four spots remaining in the world title tournament and Link could be one of the long shots to win it all! We see the Link with a diving headbutt on Jones tonight for the 1…2…3! He works the crowd as Hayes puts over just how crazy he is and tells Davey Boy Smith to watch out! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Vince and Jesse putting over next week’s Wrestling Challenge. Jesse says it is going to be a fighting to see who gets that final spot. McMahon says the brackets will be released next week on Superstars. They put over two men who are already in the tournament, Dick Slater and Bob Orton as we cut to the ring! Bob Orton Jr & Dick Slater defeated Victor & Jose Rivera -Cowyboy Bob and Dirty Dick are really showing off some skills here tonight. They work over the Riveras and make it look easy. Jesse says he would love to see these two get a tag title shot but wouldn’t be surprised to see them win their way up against one another in the world title tournament. McMahon puts them over as strong contenders as well. *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with McMahon and Jesse putting over the big night in Houston. They talk about Ricky Steamboat being hurt, but also the possible injuries to Uncle Elmer and Hillbilly Jim at the hands of King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd! We cut to footage from the big six-man tag main event last night as McMahon and Jesse put over the injuries and we see the fall out! MAIN EVENT – From Houston Ted Dibiase, Big John Studd, & King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Randy Savage, Hillbilly Jim, & Uncle Elmer w/ Miss Elizabeth -A HOT main event in Houston with Dibiase getting some nice heat on Savage after he goes after Elizabeth! Randy Savage is a mad man out there but he falls prey to the bigger and stronger team of Studd and Bundy. The “injuries” we see are Bobby Heenan having Elmer chase him around the ring but then Studd coming and clipping his knee and Elmer going down hard and he is unable to get up for so many reasons… the next one sees a 3 on 2 in which they tie up Savage in the ropes and then Studd and Dibiase hold Hillbilly Jim down for Bundy to land 3 big splashes on his ribs. Vince and Jesse put over how they may have broke his ribs! The trio then turns its attention to Savage but we see Hacksaw Duggan, Tony Atlas, and Andre the Giant come out and chase off the heels. Savage then gets up on the rope and jumps off with a double axe-handle on them as the crowd goes absolutely nuts!
  19. I've got another crazy week... WWF is all up to date for the week, hope everyone enjoys the end of June and beginning of July!
  20. Was able to get everything up to date and got July started... everyone enjoy! Hopefully the format works well for the house show loop and then the television tapings/big shows on the weekends. I am probably going too fantasy on the idea of producing a show with footage from the previous night the next day in 1984... but it is fantasy wrestling for a reason...
  21. Because I am a stickler, I moved the Superstars to WWF on Tour July 1984 since it would have technically aired in July. Sorry for being OCD.

I am Gorilla Monsoon alongside Bobby the Brain Heenan and Brain you are just glowing! Heenan: That’s right Monsoon! I told you last week and you saw the news… I’ve got Bundy and Studd in the tournament… Gorilla: How about Rude and Hercules? Heenan: I am working on it! Gorilla: Oh yeah… what’s that little box for? Heenan: This right here… this is the box I am going to put the Intercontinental Championship into! Gorilla: What are you talking about… Heenan: I am talking about tomorrow night in Los Angeles… the Intercontinental Championship is going to be mine because Big John Studd is going to challenge and then defeated Rick Martel! Gorilla: PLEASE! Martel has seen tougher challengers than Studd… Heenan: But none bigger! Gorilla: We will see how that works out for you… right now we’ve got the Intercontinental Champion in action, let’s go to the ring! Rick Martel defeated Brady Boone -A great showcase as we even get an inset promo from Martel who puts himself over and other Canadian athletes. He talks about the IC title and how he will defend it against anyone. He says he will be in Los Angeles tomorrow night and he is going to show Big John Studd why he is one of the best in the world! Inside the ring here tonight, we see him work over Brady Boone and finish him off with the Boston Crab. Heenan says there is no way he will be able to get it on John Studd. Gorilla doesn’t disagree and says there are 1,000 ways to skin a cat… or a weasel! *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Bobby talking about the tag team titles. They put over the Russians and talk about the feud with them and Steve Williams & Mike Rotundo. They talk about them challenging the Russians and coming up close and think that tonight in Houston may be the night they get the titles. Heenan says he has got the team of Studd and Bundy and they would love a chance at the titles. We cut to the ring for tag team action. Steve Williams & Mike Rotundo defeated The Invaders -Williams and Rotundo are really coming into their own. Gorilla and Bobby put over their amateur backgrounds but wonder how that will translate into a hard fought fight with the Russians. Gorilla says they will hold their own and Heenan thinks they will buckle with the pressure. Inside we see Williams with a nasty German Suplex on Invader #2 when Rotundo nails him with a flying clothesline for the 1…2…3!! Williams and Rotundo work the crowd. *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Bobby talking about Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase. They put over the feud and Heenan puts down Elizabeth as a manager and you can’t trust a woman to do a man’s job. It is clearly sexist and Monsoon is giving him the business talking about how Elizabeth is going to lead Savage to the title! Heenan says he can’t wait to see it but he is going to have to wait in line until his men get the title first! Heenan puts over Rick Rude in a big way as we cut to the ring! Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Johnny Rodz -Rick Rude is really coming into his own. He is slowly becoming more methodical and disastrous in the ring. He beats the piss out of Rodz and we see some nice power moves including a piledriver that looks to just shake Rodz’ spine. He picks him up for the Rude Awakening for the 1…..2….3! Rude celebrates as Heenan puts him over in the biggest way! *COMMERCIAL* -WC returns with Gorilla and Bobby continuing to discuss managers. They put over Lord Alfred Hayes and his stable of talent. They put over the Barbarian, the Viking, Missing Link, and William Regal. Gorilla even says that he has been seen with Killer Khan but nothing has been finalized yet. They put over how Lord Alfred wanted an answer from Davey Boy Smith about joining him as we cut to the ring! {We cut to the ring with Lord Alfred Hayes in the ring with a very young William Regal. He talks about how Regal is from England and one of the brightest young talents in the world. He put over how he has traveled to Japan, Germany, China, and Russian to learn how to be the absolute best in the world and he will get there. They put over the potential six-man tag and wonder what Sgt. Slaughter who has been feuding with Lord Alfred thinks about it. Heenan says he should not bother with those young punks. Gorilla then turns his attention to the strength and power of Hercules vs Ivan Putski. Heenan puts over how Hercules is indeed the strongest man in the WWF and Putski is going to figure that out. We cut to the ring for this big main event. MAIN EVENT Ivan Putski vs Hercules w/ Bobby Heenan -A big time main event here as Putski, who is at the end of his road as a performer, still has some name value and makes Hercules look and feel a little more special than he is. This is a bearded, wild-man, looking Hercules too as he looks like an animal. Both of these guys do some fun power work but the match itself isn’t incredible by any sense of the word. We see Hercules rule the match but here comes Putski with some big power moves and he has Hercules waining. He looks to finish him with a bearhug but here comes Rick Rude! Rude comes out and NAILS Putski in the back and he hammers down on him! Hercules and Rude are working him over in a bad way. Rude picks him up for the Rude Awakening! Hercules then picks him up for the FULL NELSON! Hercules is out on his feet as agents run down to the ring to break it up! Rude and Hercules look great here as Bobby puts them through the roof and Gorilla says they will get what is coming to them soon enough!
