11/27 Prime Time Wrestling w/ Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan Prime Time opens with Gorilla and Bobby at the set. They both put over the huge night we had at Survivor Series. Bobby points out how dominant his team was but Gorilla also points out how no member of the Heenan Family survived. Bobby says it isn’t about survival. Gorilla yells at him that it is the name of the event! Regardless… lots of action tonight… we’ll see Brother Love… that disgusting piece of trash… he is going to have a special guest… the tag team champions… Demolition! Plus we’ll see the Rockers, Twin Towers, Bad News Brown, Terry Taylor and so much more… let's head to the ring for our opening contest. The Z-Man & Koko Ware defeated Lukas Williams & Ryane Sims via the top rope drop kick! Gorilla and Bobbby put over the tag division and Heenan says he is on the cusp of the greatest signing in the history of the Heenan Family. Gorilla questions who it will be but Heenan won’t budge. Heenan says this is a signing that will change the scope of 1989 for the Heenan Family and get them right where they belong. We’ll see… let’s go to the ring! Terry Taylor defeated Mike Roberts - Inset interview from Brutus Beefcake who says that the Survivor Series was simply another step in the long line of getting his hands on Terry Taylor. He says he will do exactly what he wants when he puts Taylor to sleep and not even the roosters will wake him up! The Twin Towers defeated the Killer Bees Brother Love Show w/ Demolition - Brother Love brings out the tag champions. They put over the Survivor Series match, they put over the tag team division… but then Brother Love starts to push a couple of subjects. One being the Twin Towers as possible contenders for the titles. Demolition say they would love to see the Towers in the ring so they could break them both down one by one! Love then puts over The Rougeau Brothers… Demolition says they will crunch them up and ship em back to where they belong in no time flat… Then Brother Love points out the Rockers. Demolition hmm and hawww… but then put over the Rockers as a great team but they aren’t the best team. The best team is the ones who hold these belts. They are solid gold. Rockers… what you’ve got was earned through blood, sweat, and tears but if you want these… it is going to take a lot more than that! The Rockers defeated Los Conquistadors Gorilla and Bobby are back putting over the Survivor Series and this impending showdown with the Rockers and Demolition. Gorilla thinks the speed of the Rockers is unwavering… Bobby says the strength of Demolition will be too much… time will tell… right now we have Bad News Brown in action! Bad News Brown defeated Bob Holly - Inset interview from the Ultimate Warrior who pumps up this issue with Bad News. Warrior says Bad News lives by no rules and has no boundaries therefore he can travel through space and time without consequence but I, the Ultimate Warrior, the officers of justice in the outer realm will do whatever needs to be done in order to achieve safety for all the little warriors! The British Bulldog defeated Ken Simmons - Interesting one here… Jesse and Vince are on commentary and they put over the British Bulldog as trying his hand in singles competition. They talk about him wanting to branch out and become a great singles wrestler! Gorilla and Bobby talk about Bulldog being on his own. Gorilla says he got word that Bobby has one less family member… Heenan takes a moment to tell Big John Studd that he has been fired from the Heenan Family and his services will no longer be needed. Gorilla is flabbergasted… let’s go to the ring King Kong Bundy w/ Heenan defeated Brady Roberts & George Wright - Bundy with the 2 on 1 victory but then we see John Studd come out and he grabs Heenan by the shirt. Wait a minute. Here comes Haku and Rude! They attack Studd! Bundy gets out of the ring and they toss Studd in. They are putting the boots to him and Bundy goes for an Avalanche! Wait a minute… Hercules runs down to the ring with the chain and he breaks up the action. The crowd is going wild here as Studd is hurt in the middle of the ring and Hercules has come to save him. Heenan is making it known who is with him and who is against him! Gorilla is back and Heenan is nowhere to be found... Gorilla says we'll hear from John Studd next week... we got a big main event though to cap off the night... let's go to the ring! Dino Bravo, Honky Tonk Man, & Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart vs Hillbilly Jim, Tugboat Thomas, & Maniac Matt - A fun six man with the crowd eating everything up. We see Hillbilly really work the fans as Maniac Matt and Tugboat do more of the in ring work if you want to call it that. Dino is the one who shines here and really looks good. Honky gets the heat. Valentine gets the work in. In the end, we see Jimmy Hart toss in the megaphone to Honky who nails Tugboat on the back of the head and then Bravo picks him up for the big SIDEWALK SLAM! The Hart Foundation celebrate with Jimmy as Tugboat looks to be in a bad way... we see Hillbilly talking to a very goofy looking fellow in the crowd... oh man... the hillbillies have arrived! Demolition and the Rockers are the Survivors… the crowd seems to be pleased… but what a tease to finish this one off… The Rockers hold the US tag Titles… Demo is holding the WWF Tag titles… and they are all looking at one another! Rick Martel, Tito Santana Brutus Beefcake, Koko Ware, & The Z-Man versus The Honky Tonk Man, Dino Bravo, Greg Valentine, The Great Muta, and Terry Taylor w/ Jimmy Hart Greg Valentine was eliminated via Tito Santana and the flying Forearm! Terry Taylor and Brutus Beefcake were both counted out following a brawl that went into the crowd Koko Ware was eliminated by the Great Muta via the Moonsault The Z-man was eliminated by the Great Muta via the Shining Wizard Honky Tonk Man was eliminated by Rick Martel via a school boy Rick Martel was eliminated by the Great Muta when he was hit with a nasty spinning heel kick Tito Santana was eliminated via the Great Muta and a spectacular moonsault across the ring! Dino Bravo and Muta are the winners… but damn… Muta has four eliminations including pinning the WWF Intercontinental Champion! A precedent has definitely been set here… Dino looked strong but Muta looked unstoppable! Hulk Hogan, Jake the Snake Roberts, Hillbilly Jim, Tugboat Thomas, & Hercules versus Randy Savage, Ravishing Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd, & Haku w/ Bobby Heenan Tugboat Thomas was eliminated via Randy Savage following a Haku crescent kick and a flying Elbow Smash! Hillbilly Jim was eliminated via the Rude Awakening from Rick Rude! Big John Studd was eliminated via the powerslam by Hercules! Hercules was eliminated via King Kong Bundy and the Avalanche! King Kong Bundy was eliminated following a bodyslam and leg drop from Hulk Hogan! Rick Rude was eliminated via the DDT from Jake Roberts Jake Roberts was eliminated via the hand full of tights roll up from the Macho Man Randy Savage was counted out after he and Hulk Hogan got into it. Hogan ended up with a nasty overhead press slam sending Savage out of the ring to the floor on Haku and Heenan. Savage was irate and took the WWF championship and went to the back for the count out! Haku was eliminated by Hulk Hogan via the hulk up, big boot, and leg drop of doom! Hogan must pose brother and he does so with the crowd going wild. We then see Randy Savage come back out and he is looking to attack Hogan with the title but officials run down and break it up. We’ve got a couple other guys out there now. Hogan is making the sign for the WWF title and begging Savage to come back in! Savage holds the title high as he is being escorted to the back. Hogan then has the ring cleared and he poses some more and the crowd is giving it up for the big fella. Thank you for joining us for the Survivor Series!

Pipers put coming to the show is going to be blockbuster. Reed and Simmons… smells like doom for someone Dusty and Funk give the fans a reason to keep coming back… who will stand tall?

This is a stack card. About it is that there’s still be stories and wind and it is the combination of many things but also keeping things going. I feel that’s where NWA had it right for Starcade and WWF kind of has it wrong for survivor series. I love the survivor series, but in reality is a placeholder pay-per-view that doesn’t really end anything but rather keep going and going up against a show like this wouldn’t farewell if they just looked at each other, head to head.

We’re going to pick a member of each team randomly for their contest… plus the tag team survivor match… we’ll pick two people… from each team… we could see some interesting pairings! Neither man seems to be giving an inch for the other. We see the Warrior with some huge shoulder blocks and one sends the Bossman out of the ring to the floor! Slick hands him the Night Stick… wait a moment… Slick has the referee distracted while Bossman goes in the ring… Warrior goes for a plunge but Bossman strikes him with the Night Stick and Warrior stumbles out of the ring to the floor! The crowd can’t believe it. The referee continues the count and gets to 10. Warrior’s face is shown and he may have been busted wide open. Bossman with a count out victory… but there’s more to this one down the line. Barb and Nikolai aren’t really the most fluid in the ring and it looks like Dynamite would rather be anywhere else. Rick Steiner on the other hands looks awesome and ready for war. He comes and brings the power. We even see a top rope bulldog on Nikolai that looks ugly and possibly injuring him. The finish sees Dynamite Kid go up to the top rope but Fuji hits the ropes and he nuts himself… Kevin Sullivan is out here… what the hell is he doing to Steiner? Barbarian picks up Dynamite from the top rope and hits a middle rope powerslam! 1….2….3! Bundy hits the buckle and falls backwards. Jake pulls out Damien and Heenan tries to get Bundy out of the ring. All hell breaks loose as Bundy and Heenan leave the ring and Jake holds up Damien for the crowd! 11/13 Superstars of Wrestling w/ Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Vince and Jesse open up the show and put over the Survivor Series next week, live on Thanksgiving Night from Chicago and the Rosemont Horizon. Jesse says he can’t wait to see the fallout from some of the biggest stars in wrestling but he knows that only the strong will survive… HAHA! Vince says we’ve got a whale of an evening full of matches including words from our Survivor Series teams… plus we’ll see the Powers of Pain and their team on the Brother Love show tonight… right now it is time to head to the ring! Terry Taylor defeated Johnny Lowe. During the match we hear from Brutus Beefcake who says he can’t wait to cut those blonde locks on Terry Taylor… however… Brutus says he sees some color in his future. The British Bulldogs defeated Mark Andrews & Todd Simpson. Jesse and Vince put over the Bulldogs as one of the top teams in the sport and one who should be seeing their shot at the tag titles down the line. Event Center w/ Mean Gene… it is all about the Survivor Series and we see the lineups for all the teams… complete with a Vince McMahon voiceover… Join us for the Survivor Series live on Pay Per View from Chicago, Illinois as teams of five strive to survive! Gene talks about the tag team survivor match… when one member of a team is eliminated, both members must go to the back. The title implications could be extraordinary depending on who survives. He then sets up the next big Survivor match… Team Captains Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Andre the Giant lead team members Ultimate Warrior, ST Jones, & Maniac Matt to go up against Team Captains the Twin Towers along with Bad News Brown, Kevin Sullivan & Mike Rotundo! Here comes ST Jones, Maniac Matt, and then Ultimate Warrior! Wait just a moment… here comes Andre the Giant! This has turned into a Lumberjack Match! MAIN EVENT Hacksaw Duggan vs the One Man Gang w/ Slick {A pretty fun contest here. Duggan is a big time babyface and he works the fans. OMG looks like a monster and he works over Hacksaw and gets in some big time power moves to wear him down. We get some fun outside the ring with Bossman and Sullivan getting involved. Wait a second… the Ultimate Warrior runs over and now we’ve got a brawl going on! ST and Borne come over and they are trading with the Varsity Club. Bad News Brown takes a couple of shots here and there. Andre gets up on the ropes… he gets in the ring and turns OMG around and NAILS him with a headbutt! Gang is reeling… Andre with the bodyslam! Duggan jumps back in and hits a flying knee drop and 1…..2….3!! Duggan and company get the victory and the crowd goes wild! Duggan and company are in the ring and they are wanting some more! Jesse and Vince put this over… … next week we’ll have a special Survivor Series Showdown Superstars!

The F'N Super F'N Clash bay bay! I love the value you've put into the Awa. This is a roster I could see lighting things up in 1988 and I think it would have kept AWA afloat. "And finally, AWA scouts were in Japan and informed Verne about an American heavyweight making waves over there. Verne took notice and has signed the man they call Big Van Vader to appear at SuperClash. " Given the AWA history and bringing guys in, this works so well. Vader will come in with a name and push and we'll see him against the AWA's best. I am big on the Fantastics here... if I had their fgures I would have kept them but I like their role here and potential with some other teams. Nikita vs Slaughter... the 2nd money match right now in the AWA... gonna be tits!

The Rare Ladies match get the allure of the fans and makes the card a little more special... plus the Lumberjack match... I like different styles and ways to get the fans in the building to see what Music City is all about.

The Rock of the Dawn of War... consistency is king and now you've got so much to look forward to. I personally love the six-man titles but damn I always screw it up after I bring the titles in. Starrcade is going to be a big event and a turning point for the promotion. who will bring NWA into the final year of the 80s.... will the Road Warriors still be the top team in the world... there's a lot to be had here and some intriguing storylines to end one year and kick off a new one.

Nothing like a great Clash to keep the stories going. I will echo a lot of what other people have said... there's a lot of really good stuff going on here. I know one of your biggest dawbacks was not watching a lot of wrestling around this time but what makes it great is that we all pine for the old school way of wrestling and you're doing it with some big stars and very intriguing storylines. Think, rewind the game 4 years, the Sting and Luger duo plus Funk vs Dusty would have sold out a territory.... then you add in Piper and his stuff... now we've got Spivey/Horsemen... plus the tag titles and then we've got Butch Reed... this is an all star lineup from top to bottom. I appreciate the work you're doing here!

11/6 Prime Time Wrestling w/ Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan Prime Time opens this week with Gorilla and Bobby in a festive mood… we’ve got Thanksgiving decorations out and Survivor Series posters. Bobby says he can’t wait to unleash the real Heenan Family at the Survivor Series. Gorilla points out how we’ll hear more about that later… plus… the despicable act of Bobby Heenan and what he did to Hercules! Heenan says it is all about the family… the money he is going to keep after dropping Hercules could possibly get a new member of the family to join. Gorilla doesn’t think anyone would trust Heenan at this point and why should they! We’ll hear from Mean Gene in the Event Center this evening… he will have the full lineup for Survivor Series and what a card it is going to be. Live from Chicago, Thanksgiving Night, it will be a happening. Right now let’s head to the ring for our first contest! Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Marc Jacobs Bobby and Gorilla put over Hacksaw and his arrival in the WWF and how he has made a lot of enemies but a big friendship with the big guy, Andre the Giant. Heenan says that Andre doesn’t know left from right and aligning himself with Duggan is the worst possible move. Speaking of bad moves… Gorilla shows his disdain for Paul E Dangerously who leads the Nasty Boys into action! The Nasty Boys w/ Paul E defeated Tim Ray & Mike Donovan Gorilla and Bobby put over the Survivor Series and how this is a night that everyone gets a chance to shine. 50 of the top WWF Superstars will be in action and needless to say… only the strong will survive. Heenan says it will be the smart who survive and what he plans to do with Hogan and Roberts is nothing short of a nightmare! Hillbilly Jim w/ Tugboat Thomas defeated Sean Stewart Event Center w/ Mean Gene… it is all about the Survivor Series and we see the lineups for all the teams… Join us for the Survivor Series live on Pay Per View from Chicago, Illinois as teams of five strive to survive! Mean Gene: A couple of weeks ago… Bobby Heenan kicked Hercules out of the Heenan Family… he said he got some money for it… but in reality he’s going to get some payback when Hercules shook hands with the Hulkster From Madison Square Garden… Randy Savage defending against Hulk Hogan… “A really fun match that had a lot of heat and did a lot in 15-minutes. Savage is super over as a heel champion and Hogan is really giving him a chance to shine with his selling. These two took the fight outside of the ring and the fans ate it up. In the end we saw Bobby Heenan come out with Studd and Bundy and Haku (we'll show this on tv) to try and intimidate Hogan. This led to the Hulkster getting counted out when he was fighting the three of them off. We then see Hercules and Hillbilly Jim run out to the ring and help the Hulkster as they clean house and then shake hands.” Team Captains Hulk Hogan & Jake the Snake Roberts lead Hillbilly Jim, Tugboat Thomas, & Hercules against Team Captains WWF Champion Randy Savage and Ravishing Rick Rude. They lead members of the Heenan Family King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd, & Haku… it’s the Hulkamaniacs vs the Royal Family! Another big survivor series match announced will pit… Team Captains Rick Martel & Tito Santana lead Brutus Beefcake, Koko Ware, & Jimmy Snuka taking on Team Captains The Honky Tonk Man and Dino Bravo who will lead Greg Valentine, The Great Muta, and Terry Taylor… It's the Strike Force vs the Hart Foundation! Mean Gene goes out to say that these two teams have gone back and forth over the last couple of months and with the bad blood brewing… this one could get out of control quickly. Many people are calling the addition of the Great Muta to the Hart Foundation a game changer… but he will have some very tough competition across the ring from him. The Hart Foundation joined Brother Love for these comments… Brother Love w/ The Hart Foundation team… We have a special Brother Love and out comes the Hart Foundation team led by Jimmy Hart… we’ve got Honky, Valentine, Bravo, Terry Taylor, and the Great Muta. Muta stays silent the whole interview and stands eerily still. Bravo is flexing in the background and giving the fans the business. Honky is talking about how he plans to put an end to Rick Martel at the Survivor Series and then take his IC title! Valentine says he plans to break the leg of Tito Santana and end his career. Terry Taylor puts over his feud with Brutus and says that he’s got the perfect team and the perfect combination to condition the barber right out of the WWF! Bravo flexes and says he is the strong man in the world and the Strike Force are going to feel his power! The interview then ends with Muta spraying the myst in the air! Tito Santana defeated Reese Waters Bobby and Gorilla put over the Survivor Series and talk about some of the title situations here in the WWF. They wonder just when we’ll see Rick Martel and Honkytonk man, one on one for the title. Heenan says that Martel is running scared. Gorilla buffs at him… he wonders when Honky will sign the contract!?! The Killer Bees defeated Bryan Hendrix & Willy Vaughn The tag team survivor match is put over again. The return of the Killer Bees to the WWF may sting a couple of the competitors in the big tag team Survivor match but that only means more action for the fans. Heenan says he wants to see the Killer Bees take on the Rockers. Interesting contest… Event Center w/ Mean Gene… it is all about the Survivor Series and we see the lineups for all the teams… Join us for the Survivor Series live on Pay Per View from Chicago, Illinois as teams of five strive to survive! Mean Gene: Hacksaw Jim Duggan has made a lot of waves since coming to the WWF and he has made quite a few people mad including the Twin Towers. He got some big time backup last week when Andre the Giant agreed to be his Survivor Series partner Co-Captain. Team Captains Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Andre the Giant lead team members Ultimate Warrior, ST Jones, & Maniac Matt to go up against Team Captains the Twin Towers along with Bad News Brown, Kevin Sullivan & Mike Rotundo! It’s Gigantic Powers against the Twin Towers! Our final Survivor Series match will be the biggest of them all… two teams of FIVE TAG TEAMS… yes you heard it… 10-man teams… a 20-man survivor match… it will be electric. Team Captains Demolition lead the British Bulldogs, the Rockers, The Steiner Brothers, & The Killer Bees against Team Captains The Powers of Pain who will be joined by the Rougeaus, The Nasty Boys, the Conquistadors, & The Russians! Demolition have welcomed all challengers but the challenge of the Powers of Pain has been almost too much to handle. Could the Survivor Series be a place where the Powers of Pain regain their power over Demolition. Recent talks say that Mr. Fuji has not been happy with the Powers of Pain since signing them and going away from Demolition… and we know Demolition wants nothing to do wit Fuji… he may be out of the job! US Tag Team Champions the Rockers are also looking to make a splash… so many hungry contenders who want their shot at the tag team gold. The Great Muta defeated Bob Holly Bobby says he has spoken to representatives of the Great Muta and he is in serious negotiations with a manager here in the WWF! Gorilla wonders just what Bobby has been buttering him up for and Heenan just smiles and says he doesn’t know a thing… of course not. Brutus The Barber Beefcake defeated Jimmy Shaw and then cut his hair! We get Heenan’s take on Terry Taylor as he points out that Taylor is someone with whom he’d like to talk with soon… he wonders if that open spot in the Heenan Family could be filled by him… we’ll see…. Gorilla wonders if he will be able to cover the bald spot that Brutus gives him whenever they finally get in the ring! We go to our final segment with Gorilla and Bobby pumping up the Ultimate Warrior and his big match with Nikolai Volkoff tonight. We find out that Warriors addition to Hacksaw and Duggan’s team is one that may shock people but he hasn’t shown much intelligence since joining the WWF. Gorilla asks if he could join the family and Bobby says he doesn’t employ clowns… does Muta resemble that remark? Bobby says Muta has war paint. Gorilla says that the Warrior has War Paint! IT IS HIS NAME! Bobby is flustered and says roll it! The Ultimate Warrior vs Nikolai Volkoff w/ Boris A good showcase for Warrior who continues to rise up the ranks. He handles Nikolai and then Boris tries to get involved and gets rocked for his presence. The Warrior gets the big win but one has to wonder how he’ll do in the Survivor Series setting… especially against some bonafide giants like One Man Gang and the Bossman! All American Wrestling w Gorilla & Paul E A couple of good matches featuring the The Z-Man, Tugboat Thomas, Bad News Brown, Haku, & The Rockers. We also got a special Brother Love in which Kevin Sullivan and Mike Rotundo attacked Scott Steiner again. This came after Scott challenged them as to why they would be joining the Twin Towers instead of joining their team… Kevin said it was for the money and then Rotundo said it was for respect and cold cocked Scott which led to Rick fighting off both men. This one got pretty hot as Brother Love walked off the Varsity Club and Scott looks to have a busted eye.
