  1. Anytime Rick Steiner can show his superior Steiner power... I am game. I am also big on Tully here... his success in the NWA was immeasurable and perhaps he can top those same heights here. Jake Brigance... interesting choice... love Time to Kill... it would be great to see it highlighted by Williams and Koloff.
  2. You've got some of my faves here and you put them in good spots. Keep the Gang being the 100% baddest dude on the block. I love how the Harts are teaming with Pillman. We also get Hennig and Bock coming again... perhaps it is time for Hennig to shine on the brightest stage of them all.
  3. NWA Tv... when anything can happen! Each match is moving someone up or something forward. Dundee steps back into the fold with a shot at the TV title next week. Big world title contender battle royal coming up. I think the thing that always intrigues me about your promotion is that there is a next step and you continue to move us in that direction.
  4. As others have said... great card... Medusa is on top for just cause and I am hopeful to see her success continue. Misty with a good showing... Richter is still a force... Also... don't count out Velvet... I have a sneaking suspicion about her.
  5. AWA is the major league of professional wrestling... but I am in now way a fan of Al Perez... plus he is the cause of an unjust Tommy Rich loss... my stomach turns for the rematch and vengeance. I like Zenk and Taylor in a long contest... to me... they were made for this... and you caw glimpses of it in 1990/1991 wcw tv. Great use of them here... it gives their value something when they can put on great matches on television for so many to see.
  6. Windy City puts Kamala, Abdullah, Khan, and Kabuki on the block. These monsters need new homes.
  7. Windy City Wrestling #3 -Schaumburg, IL Taped: 7/30 NO DISQUALIFICATION Blackjack Mulligan vs Kamala A knock down drag out brawl to finish off the issue between these two men Kamala is able to draw some blood early which kind of scares the fans who are so close to ringside Mulligan looks to go through the motions for all intents and purposes with little to no offense The finish sees Kamala with a powerslam on the concrete floor A big splash for the 3-count Kamala puts an end to this issue but who will be next on his list? Jake Roberts defeated The Moondog Kabuki & Khan defeated Brad & Bart Batten Koko B Ware defeated Sato The Rock N Roll Express defeated The Rock N Roll RPMs The Nasty Boys defeated Tracey Smothers & Steve Armstrong Bam Bam Bigelow vs Bob Orton Jr w/ Paul Jones A really good main event and reminder that Bam Bam is more than just a street fighter Orton Jr gives him everything he’s got in his tank but Bam Bam just jacked and ready He is able to get some big time bumps out of Orton Orton gets some heat with the help of Paul Jones The finish sees Orton go for a suplex but Bam Bam jumps over the back and then picks him up for a huge back body drop and a quick 1…2…3! Bam Bam gets his first win over the Untouchables but you know he wats more! Other News: Randy Savage is with Elizabeth and he is running down Chris Adams something awful. He is so upset that Adams is getting the title shot and Savage says that there will be some revenge for this miscarrage of justice! Dan Spivey & Scott Hall cut a promo on the Samoan Savages saying that in Batavia Illinois in two weeks - it is going to be Texas Tornado Rules and only one team will survive! Jimmy Garvin comes out with Precious and puts over his recent win streak and says that he is sick and tired of guys like Jake Roberts coming out here and running his mouth. He has tried to DDT him one too many times and in Batavia… he is the one who is going to put Jake Roberts to sleep! We hear from the Untouchables… Butch Reed says that he is never going to let the Gateway title go and in Batavia - he is going to be standing tall over Koko B Ware with a vengeance! Orton and Slater put over the big tag title match they’ll have in Batavia against none other than the Rock N Roll Express! Then we hear from Harley Race who runs down Chris Adams and says that his mind has been elsewhere for too long and he is going to set him straight in the middle of the ring! Windy City Wrestling #4 - Schaumburg, IL Taped 7/30 Mike Rotundo vs Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth Rotundo is out here once again to make the other man look good and he does The nice part is that Savage does his part too and really pushes Rotundo Savage is oozing heat right now after yelling at Elizabeth to open the ropes for him at the beginning of the match and the fans aren’t letting up Rotundo falls prey to a very low gut shot from Savage which leads to a nasty piledriver The top rope elbow is all she wrote for the 3-count! Savage is soaking it all in as he lets the world know he should be the one in the title match in Batavia! Butch Reed defeated Bob Bradley Dutch & Jaggers defeated The Renegade Warriors Stunning Scott Casey defeated Masa Fuchi The Samoan Savages defeated Curtis Thompson & Todd Champion Chris Adams vs Dick Slater w/ Paul Jones Chris Adams is making his claim here tonight to be the real number one contender Slater is giving him the business and working him over something good Adams sells so well right now and it really adds to the aura of Slater and the help of Jones outside Adams has to keep fighting back with everything he’s got as Slater continues to pound away The finish sees Slater go for a piledriver but Adams is able to toss him over his back Slater gets up to his feet and here comes Adams with a SUPERKICK! 1….2…..3!!! Adams has won it… just like that… could that be the future for Harley Race?!?! Other News: Chris Adams is out and he’s putting over his issue with Randy Savage but also his huge title match opportunity against Harley Race in Batavia. Adams says he’s been waiting for a moment like this for a long time… he won’t waste the opportunity! Skandar Akbar is with Kamala and the Samoan Savages. He announces that they have rid Windy City of Blackjack Mulligan and then it will be time to rid Windy City of Dan Spivey… Scott Hall… and BAM BAM BIGELOW! That’s right… in Batavia… Kamala has got a chance at the Chicago Street Fight Championship and he is going to put an end to Bam Bam once and for all and get paid well by Harley Race and the Untouchables The Rockers come out and needless to say they don’t seem to be in a good mood. They talk about still being the number one team in wrestling and deserving the title shot. They wonder how the rock N Roll Express got their chance and want some answers! The Untouchables come out and put over their big matches in Batavia. Reed says that Koko is going to find the Gateway to darkness when Reed is done with him. Orton and Slater plan to put an end to Rock N Roll once and for all! Harley Race says he won’t be a gentlemen when he faces Adams!
  8. Man - I wish I had the drive that you do with the NWA here. It is top to bottom a complete promotion. Arn vs Flair is always an interesting concept. I am also a huge fan of the six-man titles. They could always be used in a good way just no one ever seemed to understand how to do it.
  9. I love the dynamic of PCW. I do feel that you beat to the tune of your own drum and that's what makes these shows special for all of us. I like seeing Jim Neidhart on the other side of the Harts as I always thought he had a little more in the tank than given. I am also big on Nicky B carrying the torch and giving these youngsters steps in the ring directions.
  10. I like the way you've rebranded this promotion and put some people in spots that they would had been in years ago but also make the promotion relevant in the current 1987. The JYD/Ladd dynamic is something to watch for. I also love the way you've been writing some of these promos... some really good lines. I am huge on Rick Steiner - I feel like he's poised for a huge second half of 87 and an enormous 88!
  11. My girl Lisa - she is next in line and I'll be there ringside to see it... or host it at Windy City! On the other end... Medusa... winning everything... the titles have all build to this moment for her. I picture an Ultimo Dragon esq image with the titles... I remember when he debuted... with the titles... it meant something to me then and this means something special now.
  12. I like the authority of Watts - a lot of people say Vince started something in he 90s but we all know that Watts was doing that Authority angle back in the 70s/80s. I hated to see Woman and Luger end... I always thought Lex could have used a woman but it looks like he has bigger things down the line. When I look at the big card coming up, I think this is going to be Luger's chance to explode but also show his value in comparison to Dibiase. There's a lot on the line here.
  13. I like your TV set up a lot. You can see that my effort has gone down in recent years but this is what thee types of games are all about. You've created a way to see your product and it comes across well. I am personally pushing for Steamboat to be the man in the AWA come 88 but he's got some climbing to do with others in his way. Oh yeah - more Tommy Rich - I love it - he has honestly become one of my favorites over the last couple of years and the way you present him is amazing.
  14. Blackjack Mulligan has walked out of Windy City and is looking for employment somewhere else - contact the Windy City offices for any questions!
  15. WCPW Presents: A Bad Night in Bloomington! July 29 - Bloomington, Illinois - Civic Center Scott Casey vs Bill Irwin Big night in Bloomington starts with Speedy Scott Casey going up against Wild Bill These guys get out of hand early and there are little to no rules being followed The referee follows the crowds advice of LET THE FIGHT! Bill takes control over the middle part of the match only for Casey to fight his way back with some big time right hands The finish sees Wild Bill go for a back drop but Casey rolls over his back and then runs back up for a BULLDOG! 1…2….3!!! Speedy Scott Casey has won it and the crowd pops! Scott Hall & Danny Spivey vs The Samoan Savages w/ Skandar Akbar Another fun brawl to get things going as these two teams beat the living tar out of one another Hall and Spivey don’t quite have the continuity of the Savages and of course Akbar is playing his role outside the ring The Savages lose the size game but make up for it with them breaking every rule in the book They double up on Spivey and wear him down only for him to fight back and make the huge tag to Hall Big Scott comes in with some big time clotheslines and back drops Chaos ensues as Spivey comes back in the ring and we’ve got all four men going at it Skandar gets his cane and just destroys it over Scott Hall’s back leading to Tonga coming up with an absolutely disgusting Crescent Kick right to the throat Tonga covers for the 3-count while Tama hits Spivey with a low blow! Hall and Spivey take a big loss here… the Savages with a huge win - what could come of this? GATEWAY CHAMPIONSHIP Mike Rotundo vs Butch Reed w/ Paul Jones First of our four title matches tonight and it doesn’t disappoint Rotundo is still trying to find his footing here in Windy City and he brings a lot of bang for the buck Rotundo has got every sense of athletic ability that it takes but it is Reed who has the edge that brings him to the top Paul Jones help him every chance but Reed can do this on his own The final moments see Rotundo go for a huge clothesline but Reed ducks… he then comes with a nasty flying shoulder block and Rotundo over sells like crazy and goes flying The 3-count is all she wrote and Butch Reed continues to be a dominant force in Windy City Wrestling as the Gateway Champion! The Rockers vs Dutch & Jaggers The Rockers come out tonight in some leather coats and darker colors The fans are still cheering them up as they take the fight to Jaggers and Dutch This one goes about 12-minutes There is some good heat on both Michaels and Jannetty but they come back no problem The finish sees the two of them hit a nasty double superkick on Jaggers Jannetty with a crossbody on Dutch and they go flying out of the ring Michaels covers Jaggers for the 3-count and the Rockers are back in the Win Column They don’t seem to be too pleased though… Jake Roberts vs Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth A BIG time contest with these two men who are at the top of their game right now This one is a 20-minute time limit match and they go every ounce of it Both men are just throwing bombs here but they do it in a way that makes even the smallest shots mean something Savage is able to stall to get heat while Jake plays cat to Savage’s mouse Jake is able to get the momentum going in his way and even gets close to the set up for the DDT but Savage ducks out We see Savage set up Jake and hit him with a huge PILEDRIVER Savage goes up top but he spends one moment too much celebrating and when he leaps for the elbow JAKE MOVES! Savage comes crashing down This gives Jake the chance to come back and he hammers away Jake then goes for the DDT but Savage ducks out again and they take the fight outside The referee continues the count but the highlight is when Savage somehow get the advantage and he comes off the top rope with a double axe-handle smash! Jake is hruting as the referee gets close… Elizabeth helps Savage in the ring and he serves as enough of a distraction for when Jake tries to get in… Jim Garvin runs down out of nowhere and rams him into the ringpost! 8….9….10! Savage is the winner at the 19:30 mark of the contest! Savage celebrates with Liz and you know it is just a matter of time before he has some gold around his waist! The Rock N Roll Express vs The Nasty Boys Another solid tag team encounter with the Rock n Roll Express looking AMAZING tonight The fans are solidly behind them and chanting Rock n Roll every moment of the match The Nasty Boys bring some big time blows and power to the contest but the speed of the RNR is more than they can handle The finish is a huge double dropkick on Knobbs and then another on Sags and we get quick roll ups for the quick 3 counts and the Rock N Roll look like they’re ready for whatever Windy City has to throw at them! WINDY CITY TAG CHAMPIONSHIP The Renegade Warriors vs Dick Slater & Bob Orton w/ Paul Jones A good showcase for Orton and Slater The Renegade Warriors are good… but nowhere near the level that Orton and Slater are The heels just control every moment of the contest and finish things off pretty easily The spike piledriver on Mark is all she wrote and another solid defense for the Untouchables. Chris Adams vs The Moondog Chris Adams is back in action and he comes with a fire tonight Moondog bites and claws but nothing too crazy The Gentlemen is in complete control and looks like he has got big things planned for his future The finish is a nice superkick and then the three count. Adams is yelling for Savage… these two are going to have to come to blows soon! CHICAGO STREET FIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Bam Bam Bigelow vs Abdullah the Butcher A nasty brawl between these two monsters Butcher is bleeding early on and Bam Bam is having to fight back with every shot We see a couple of weapons get involved including Abdullah’s fork One of the big highlights is seeing Bam Bam hit Abby over the head with a broomstick breaking it in half! The finish sees Bam Bam hit Abby with a huge powerslam on a chair for the 3-count! Bammer continues to be on the rise but when will he find his way to Harley Race?!? Koko Ware vs Jim Garvin w/ Precious Another good outing for Jimmy Garvin who is putting together a legit resume here in Windy City Koko isn’t a slouch though and he brings a lot of fire Koko is bumping all over the place and he gives Garvin every ounce that he can handle The finish sees Garvin duck a crossbody from Koko and pull the rope down that sends Koko flying The referee continues the count while Garvin pulls him back before Precious comes over with the hair spray and sets Koko back! The crowd is screaming at Precious who is soaking it all in The referee gets to 10 - and Jim Garvin is the winner Wait just a moment… he and Precious are celebrating but the revenge is here JAKE ROBERTS runs down and he starts hammering away at Garvin with short lefts and then a running knee He picks him up for the DDT but Garvin ducks down and rolls out of the ring! Garvin and Precious run back up the aisle… Jake Roberts wants him and wants him bad! WINDY CITY CHAMPIONSHIP Blackjack Mulligan vs Harley Race w/ Paul Jones A good main event with two big time names Mulligan has got just enough left in him to make this something good Harley is oozing star power and heat even in the twilight of his career - he’s got all the pieces of the machine working Mulligan and Harley play all the cards with some brawling outside the ring and some good inside the ring work Harley gets some major heat by working over the shoulder of Mulligan Blackjack has to somehow find a way to fight back We approach the 18-minute mark - both men tired - both men drenched The finish sees Mulligan toss Race into the corner but now Paul Jones is up there… what’s he doing? Mulligan goes over and grabs Jones and nails him with a huge right hand! Race then comes with a double leg and picks up Mulligan - dropping him on the turnbuckle… wait the turnbuckle was off… it was just the steel! Race covers… with his feet on the ropes for the 3-count! {The Untouchables run down to the ring and celebrate with Harley… they are working the crowd and getting some serious heat but then we hear it… the pop of pops… here comes Bam Bam and he’s followed by Spivey and Hall! They are coming down to the ring while the officials and agents come out to stop them… when is this one going to happen?!?!} Guys - kids have been sick and life has been crazy - I will get to feedback ASAP!

He says when you’re draped in gold… there is nothing finer in the world… and when you look at these men… you see the best of the best… champions…we are… UNTOUCHABLE! Race and company walk out of the ring to a chorus of boos but wait a minute… Bam Bam is back up and he attacks the guys from behind! They are throwing some serious bombs and then we hear another roar as Danny Spivey and Scott Hall come out and it is a brawl in the aisleway! Officials and agents come out… this is chaos… the fans going wild… Race unveils the Untouchables… we’ll see you tomorrow for our first TV SHOW!}
  19. We've been doing this a while. I enjoyed what you put together here. It's a very easy format and easy to follow. I love the positioning of Dibiase here. He is the top dog for a reason. I am not sure about 1987 Chris Benoit, but I know he's probably got a lot of fire and tenacity so let's see what happens!
  20. I saw it every week... NWA continues to roll... most consistent of us all and by golly you've got some really fun things happening. Hansen and the Road Warriors... the clash of clashes that everyone wants. I always liked to see teams split for singles matches if it builds to something else. The Warrior were so synonymous with one another... one breaking off into something big could be an intriguing way to go!
  21. I wanted to go back to earlier... the AWA ring... gosh... if I could bust out some toy figures to set up for my shows... wowza. Anyways... Tommy Rich is the man... still... without question.... and without the title... but WITH Austin Idol who's coming off the run of a lifetime in Windy City cough cough. I like Bad News as the big name in this promotion and in reality he was one of the bigger stars of this era. I think he is a solid choice even when you've got guys like a Larry Z available to step in. Some fun twists and turns and definitely some great things to follow up on.
  22. Wendi is on top baby and I love the main event as well. I liked that six-pack challenge the WWF did in 2000 and this is reminiscent of that. I am glad to see that the gold means something with the women and that it adorns them and builds up their personas. I am hopeful to have the ladies show back up in Windy city soon!
  23. PCW has a pretty big couple of weeks of stuff going on here. Midnights v Simmons and Dingo is such a clash of styles and I love it. I like the little bit of turmoil with the Knights as well. Obviously that team with the Harts looks amazing on paper. I also want to pop back to the 90 minute 2/3 Falls Bock v Backlund match. This would have gone down in lore forever with these two involved. Fun way to bring something like that to life.
  24. Major changes... a huge split... the Freebirds are back... I love it. I am hopeful that Nikita can get on top of the Mid South because I feel like this time period Nikita could be an ace... but fast forward a year... not so much. Tully Blanchard is a legitimate game changing talent... he has to be the one who looks to dominate the Mid South like he did with the NWA such a short time ago. Eddie Gilbert... a man who is known throughout the wrestling world... I need to buy into him and I think you can sell him. Looking forward to the progress of this promotion.
  25. @kevinmcfl Could I utilize Billy Robinson, who is retired, as a color guy? He would never work in the ring but rather be a character in the broadcast.
