Watching this game unfold, you have taken on many different identities, but I think your UWF is definitely taking the right shape. Jake Roberts, as the snake, I mean face in peril is one of the all time best. He has the odds against him and you're putting him in a spot to only gain more steam. I love the Miracle Violence Connection and I especially love Demolition. Seeing them go toe to toe is something to behold. You've got a lot of great things going here with the UWF and I know that this mix of talent has unlimited possibilities.
  2. Week 5 Raw 12/27 The Killer Bees vs The Hart Foundation The Harts find a way back into the win column It is a nice hard fought mach with the Bees leaving everything they’ve got out there. The Hart attack is the final touch for the 3-count. The Harts get 15-points… but Bret still looks to be in rough shape. The Skyscrapers vs The Nasty Boys The Nasties are riding high from their big victory last week. The Skyscrapers don’t seem to give two shits about last week. This one spills out into the ringside area. Both teams get into the chairs and we’ve got a double DQ and 5 points for each team. Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs Cade & Murdoch Benoit and Jericho seem to have found their footing as a team Cade and Murdoch put up a great fight The Lionsault is the finishing touch for a huge pinfall and 15-points for Benoit and Jericho Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith vs The Hardy Boys Match of the night so far Owen and the Hardys put on a fun speed show Davey Boy’s power is what ends the run A huge powerslam from Davey Boy on Matt for the 3-count and 15 points. The Twin Towers vs The Road Warriors The Twin Towers come out with something to prove against the Road Warriors tonight. These four have got some big time issues and throw some serious potatoes at one another. The finish is kind of messy with all four men involved. Bossman grabs the night stick out of nowhere and he just CRACKS Animal right on the side of the head! Hawk then runs and clotheslines Bossman out of the ring to the floor as both men go flying. Akeem then hits the ropes and 747 splash on Animal and the 3-count! The Towers with 15-points and they are back in the hunt! Smackdown 12/31 Double J & The Road Dogg vs Rated RKO Pretty good showing for Rated RKO who have turned it all the way around and dominate this contest. The SPEAR from Edge The RKO from Orton The 3-count and 15 points for Rated RKO! The Rockers vs The Powers of Pain The Rockers continue to build on their momentum The POP are all power but they can’t catch up to Michaels and Jannetty! The finish is a big double dropkick and pinfall! 15-points for the Rockers and they are getting back into the fold! The Steiner Brothers vs Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko Rick and Scott continue to look amazing. They are perhaps the best team on Smackdown and they’re showing it. Scott with his own Frankensteiner on Rey Jr for the 3-count! 15 points for the Steiners and they continue to look awesome Scott Hall & Kevin Nash vs The Smoking Gunns Pretty dominating victory for Hall and Nash Nash hits the Jacknife on Bart for the 3-count! 15 points for Hall and Nash. The Varsity Club vs Sting & Lex Luger The Varsity Club is trying to get out of the slump and they bring the heat against Sting and Luger The Stinger has got some big time speed to even up the odds. Luger and Williams beat the living piss out of one another. On the other side of the ring, Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop on Rotundo for the 3-count! Sting and Luger with 15-points… they are on top of the mountain!
  3. Week 4 Raw 12/20 The Skyscrapers vs The Killer Bees We kick things off in a big way here with the Skyscrapers who look like monsters compared to the Bees Blair and Brunzell attempt to use some speed but Spivey and Sid are focused and pissed off from the looks of it. A counter from Spivey on Blair leads to a huge powerslam Brunzell runs in but Sid kicks his head off. Sid and Spivey pick up Blair for a double powerbomb for the 3-count and 15 points! The Twin Towers vs Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith A very interesting contest here Owen has got the speed to keep things Davey Boy shows off his power but the Towers can match him move for move Akeem and Bossman don’t seem to want to follow the rules here Slick is pushing his men past the limits Owen gets smashed in the corner for a big double avalanche! Davey is trying to get in but the Towers double up on him too The referee tries to stop this but Bossman hurls him to the ground! The ref calls for the bell and Owen and Davey get 10 points for the DQ finish! The Road Warriors vs Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho A good mix of styles here Much like the earlier contest, the size of the Road Warriors is what turns the tide Benoit and Jericho don’t have a quitting bone in their body. The Warriors are so cohesive as a team, they dominante from bell to bell. The finish sees Hawk throw Benoit off the top rope and he goes flying into the guardrail Jericho then hits a dropkick on Hawk but he turns around for a huge clothesline from Animal. Hawk shakes off the cobwebs and goes up top while Animal hoists him up and DOOMSDAY DEVICE! 3-count…15 points… the Road Warriors are taking over! The Hardy Boys vs Cade & Murdoch A pretty even contest here. Cade and Murdoch have yet to get on the board but they show promise tonight. Matt and Jeff seem to get the offense going but Cade and Murdoch continue to break ever rule in the book to get ahead. This one goes outside the ring with Matt being doubled up and then Jeff comes off the top with a Swanton taking everyone out! The referee continues the count and gets a double count out while all 4 men fight outside the ring. 5 points for each… The Hart Foundation vs The Nasty Boys Big time main event for these two teams Bret continues to nurse this shoulder injury Saggs and Knobbs continue to hammer down on it. Bret is really selling things here as the Anvil is trying to get things evened up but the Nasties are just too much. The fight spills outside the ring and the referee is trying to get the Anvil back but Saggs and Knobbs hoist up Bret and run him into the ringpost shoulder first… and again! The referee counts as the Nasties come in and Bret is still the legal man! The referee gets to 10! The Nasty Boys with the upset of the tournament and 10 more points! Smackdown 12/24 Double J & The Road Dogg vs The Powers of Pain Double J and the Road Dogg seem to have things on the same page tonight. The POP are working well as a team and their strength is unparalleled. This one doesn’t really have too much of a spark. The ending works with Barb and Double J as the legal men. Barb goes over the top to the floor. The referee counts and he is at 8…9… Road Dogg holds his leg down and 10! Double J and Road Dogg with a win and 10 points! Sting & Lex Luger vs Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko Sting and Luger appear the be the team staged to really light up this league. Rey and Dean are able to get in some offense but nothing materializes. The finish sees Rey hit a hurricanrana on Sting but the Stinger rolls through for the 3-count! Sting and Luger with 15 more points! Rated RKO vs The Smoking Gunns Rated RKO also show off their skills here tonight. Orton and Edge are absolutely on top of their game and Billy and Bart can’t seem to get going. Orton counters a bulldog into an RKO on Bart for the 3-count and 15 points! The Varsity Club vs Scott Hall & Kevin Nash Well… Steve Williams must not have liked the memo… and he let Hall and Nash know about it. Williams is pulling no punches and Nash and Hall don’t appear to be happy. Rotundo looks like he’ll do business Williams all but checks out and we see Nash with the Jacknife with the 3-count and 15 points. Williams looks him right in the eye… well… this one may be far from over! The Rockers vs The Steiner Brothers The match of the night. These four leave every single thing they have in the ring. The suplexes from the Steiners The speed and double teams from the Rockers The fans are going apeshit for this one. The finish is hot as Rick Steiner hoist up Marty on the turnbuckle Steiner with a superplex… but Shawn is able to counter it and nail a splash off the top onto Steiner when he lands! 1…2….3! The Rockers pull off the huge upset! The Rockers get 15 points and the Steiners can’t believe it!
  4. SPECIAL EVENT Tag Turmoil Random Draw Event! 12/19 The Skyscrapers vs Scott Hall & Kevin Nash Hall and Nash receive 15 points in what many will call a dirty pin! The Killer Bees vs Double J & The Road Dogg Double J & The Road Dogg get the victory and receive their first points of the tournament. The Twin Towers vs Sting & Lex Luger A fun mix of styles here leads to Sting & Luger getting 10 points and the DQ victory The Road Warriors vs The Powers of Pain The Road Warriors get the 15 points for a pinfall! Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko In the match of the night… these four go to a 20-minute time limit! Both teams get 5 points The Hart Foundation vs The Varsity Club A stellar match… the Harts get the pinfall but more could come from Bret’s injury! The Nasty Boys vs Rated RKO Rated RKO walk away with the pinfall and 15-points The Hardy Boys vs The Rockers The Rockers pull off a huge win and get 15-points! Cade & Murdoch vs The Smoking Gunns Cade and Murdoch are able to get the pinfall victory and 15 points! Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith vs The Steiner Brothers The Steiner Brothers get the dq victory and 10 points!
  5. Continued success for AEW and I ave to say your production values are knocking it out of the park. I feel like I am so far behind in that respect. The Trial of Punk has been fun to see and I am interested in who the 3rd will be. Page and Danielson tore it up IRL and I expect the same here. I think the biggest thing is the run of Brodie Lee. It is the ultimate what if and I think we would all want to see it play out.
  6. Week 3 Raw 12/13 The Nasty Boys vs Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho A fun opener and both of these teams are looking to build some momentum. Jericho and Benoit have a lot of skills but there is one thing their missing that the Nasty Boys have… experience. Experience is what causes the Nasty Boys to take advantage of a wrong man in situation. Benoit hits Saggs with the diving headbutt but it is Knobbs who comes from behind with a nasty elbow right on the back of his neck! The Nasties get the 3 count and 15 points! The Hardy Boyz vs The Killer Bees Another opportunity for both teams to get something going. Here we see both teams use their speed to control the match The Hardys just happen to have the sizzle to go with the steak and we see a Twist of Fate from Matt The Swanton from Jeff and the 3-count! 15 points for the Hardys! The Hart Foundation vs The Twin Towers Another big time match for the Harts who have really been tested early in this tournament. Early on we see Bret hit that turnbuckle with his sternum and then Akeem comes from behind for added measure. Bret is able to get a tag but plays as though he is seriously injured for the rest of the contest The Anvil does his best but the Towers are a little bit too much. Around the 13-minute mark, we see the Anvil make a hot tag to Bret who tries to use his speed to get control. Bret ends up ducking a big clothesline from Akeem who tumbles out of the ring to the floor. Then we see Bossman come but Bret pulls the ropes down and Bossman then tumbles onto Akeem! The referee counts as the Towers struggle to get up and then it is a 10-count! The Harts win via Count Out… but it isn’t done. Bossman grabs the night stick and he NAILS Bret right in the ribs… he looks to be in a very bad way The Harts get 10 points but who knows what happened to Bret’s ribs… Cade & Murdoch vs Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith A good tag team match here and they go by the book. It is 15-minutes as Cade and Murdoch really do look good but Owen and Davey are better Cade and Murdoch seem to get some momentum but a nasty heel kick from Owen on Murdoch spells the end. Davey Boy picks him up and hits a nasty powerslam for the 3-count! Owen and Davey continue to roll with 15 more points! The Skyscrapers vs The Road Warriors The one people have been waiting for The irresistible force vs the immovable object. 10-minutes of hold nothing back just piss pounding for both teams Neither of them seems to want to sell for the other, which is fun, but not all that entertaining. It looks like the Twin Towers still have some issues to resolve as they come back out here with Slick to watch the match. A couple of moments later, Bossman trips Animal with the nightstick… he acts innocent. Then… Akeem pulls the rope down when Spivey runs and he goes to the floor. That seems to be the spark plug because here comes Sid and the Road Warriors! It looks like a six-man melee outside the ring with everyone throwing bombs! The problem is the referee who calls for a double DQ due to the interference but the Towers! Both teams get 5 points… but this is far from over! Smackdown 12/17 Double J & The Road Dogg vs The Rockers Great opener… we see the real Double J come out here and he and Michaels and Jannetty look great Dogg seems to be the weak link but tries to hold his own The finish sees a double superkick on Double J who flies out of the ring to the floor Then we get another on Road Dogg followed by a double fist drop and a signature win for the Rockers… plus 15 points! The Smoking Gunns vs Sting & Lex Luger Billy and Bart really come out here to show their stuff… and so does Sunny. Sting and Luger are really gelling on many ways Billy and Bart actually go low here and pull out some dirty tricks Sunny continues to try and get Sting’s attention but he is having nothing to do with her Leg Luger counters a flying cross body into a powerslam on Billy! Bart runs at Sting who ducks a clothesline and then Sting clothesline him out of the ring to the floor! Billy gets up and Luger hammers hit with a right and he turns around to Sting who is coming off the top with a huge crossbody for the 3-count!! Sting and Luger with 15 points! Scott Hall & Kevin Nash vs Rated RKO An interesting mix of styles here Orton and Hall really tear it up inside the ring with the fans eating it up Edge has got some good stuff too though Kevin Nash is the almighty equalizer and he takes control At about the 16-minute mark, we see the Outsiders take control but Orton is able to wrap Nash’s skull around the ring post. Inside the ring… Hall hits the razor’s edge on Edge… but when he gets up… Orton out of nowhere with an RKO! Orton pins Hall for the 3-count and 15 points! Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko vs The Powers of Pain Another interesting mix of styles Malenko and Mysterio are outsized in this one The Powers of Pain look good and take over with their power Malenko and Rey do take advantage though… they keep the match going At the 14-minute mark, Barb and Warlord are gassed… here is where Malenko and Rey turn it on! We see both men use their speed and isolate Warlord Rey Mysterio then hits a modified 619 splash on Warlord for the 3-count at the 16-minute mark! Rey and Dean are now on the board with 15-points! The Steiner Brothers vs The Varsity Club Big time main event. Two powerhouse teams that pull no punches Lots of slams and power moves that separate these two teams from others The crowd is solidly behind the Steiners and they put up some big time moves only for the Varsity Club to cheat and get some big time heat Rick and Dr. Death really pound the piss out of one another as Scott and Rotundo have more of the finess. At the 18-minute mark, everything is starting to break down. We see all four men enter the ring and they are going toe to toe Rotundo then goes low and hits a nasty low blow on Rick! 1 minute remaining! Williams picks up Scott and then hits the Oklahoma Stampede in the corner! Meanwhile, Rick gets up and Clotheslines Rotundo out of the ring! Rick goes up top… Williams covers Scott but the referee says he isn’t the legal man Williams gets up and Steiner off the top rope with a bulldog! 1….2….3!!! THE STEINERS WIN! The Steiners get 15-points in what may be the match of the season so far!!! There will be a special Tag Team Turmoil Event on Sunday the 19th of December! Each team from a brand will be chosen at random to go against a team from the other brand! Scoring will be the same as this is a chance for some people to catch up or some to pull away!
  7. Week 2 RAW 12/6 The Skyscrapers vs The Hart Foundation What a way to kick off things this week… perhaps one of the matches everyone was waiting for. We see Bret try to break down Spivey and Sid but their power is too much. The Anvil can match the power with them though and we see him stand toe to toe with em. The two big boys do take complete control and work over the Hitman. They isolate him and do everything but finish him off before he makes a huge tag to the Anvil! Neidhart comes in like a house of fire and he is going at them with everything! At the 13-minute mark, things break loose when Bret and Anvil double clothesline Sid out of the ring. Bret sneaks up behind Spivey before the Anvil comes off the middle rope with a huge shoulder block and Spivey trips over Bret who locks him up for the 1...2...3! The Hart Foundation get 15 points! The Hardy Boys vs The Road Warriors Much like last week… the Road Warriors are perhaps the team to beat and they beat the hell out of the Hardy Boys. Matt and Jeff try to get their momentum going with their speed but nothing doing This one goes only about 4-minutes and ends when Matt comes off the top rope and Hawk clotheslines his head off. Hawk covers for the 3-count and the Road Warriors stand tall with 15-points! Cade & Murdoch vs The Twin Towers w/ Slick A pretty fun match with Cade & Murdoch getting a little bit of shine. The Towers do look strong and bounce back from that double count out last week. We see the isolate of Murdoch followed up by a huge double splash in the corner! Slick serves distraction for Cade while Akeem comes with the 747 and the 3-count! 15-points goes to the Twin Towers! The Nasty Boys vs The Killer Bees Perhaps a chance for either of these teams to get on the board but it is the Nastys who look tough. The Bees are able to show off some good skills out there as they hit some double moves and quick tags. The Nasties are notorious rule breakers and they do so when they double up on Blair and hit a nasty spike piledriver for the 3-count and 15-points! Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith Big time main event Some serious in ring work here and it looks like Jericho and Benoit are perhaps the underdogs in this tournament. These guys go right up to the 20-minute mark with all four men showing off their skills. The finish sees Jericho go for a lionsault on Davey but when Jericho gets up it is Owen with a spinning heel kick to the back of the head leading to a cover for the 3-count! Owen and Davey get the 15-points and what a matchup! Smackdown 12/10 Double J & The Road Dogg vs The Steiner Brothers Perhaps the Smackdown favorites, the Steiners kick things off tonight and they look to be at the top of their game. Rick and Scott use their power on the Road Dogg and throw him around the ring while Double J just yells at him from the apron! When Jarrett does get in, Scott gives him a Belly to Belly for his pleasure and then Jarrett tags Road Dogg back in and Scott throws him to the ropes… FRANKENSTEINER! 3-count and the Steiners get 15 more points! The Smoking Gunns vs The Varsity Club This one gets pretty interesting with Bart Gunn and Steve Williams Needless to say, no soft pouches are thrown and even Mike Rotundo shows some metal out there. Billy and Bart seem to be outmatched in power but somehow they find a way to work better as a team. The finish sees both teams brawl out to the floor and then Williams lariats Billy over the guardrail into the fans! Bart runs and jumps the rail tackling Williams! The referee counts to 10 and this one is a double count out, 5 points to both teams! Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko vs Rated RKO Much like the final survivor series showdown, Malenko and Mysterio are kind of outmatched here but really it is their animosity towards one another that is causing issue. Orton and Edge look to come off their tough loss a week ago and they are pulling no punches. Dean almost leaves his partner out to dry by moving out of the way of Edge who comes in with a nasty SPEAR for th 3-count! Rated RKO get 15 points and are back in the hunt! The Powers of Pain vs Sting & Lex Luger As we see Rated RKO leave, they stop and talk to Fuji who is leading out the Powers of Pain… hmmm…. Sting and Luger come out and they have got the fans solidly behind them. Luger and Sting are great compliments to one another and the Powers of Pain, although big and strong, appear to be outmatched in technique. Just as Sting hits the Stinger Splash on the Warlord, Barbarian grabs the cane and breaks it over Sting’s back! Luger runs over and the POP double team him! The referee has to call for the bell, Sting and Luger win… but only get 10 points. Could Rated RKO have sabotaged Sting and Luger? Scott Hall & Kevin Nash vs The Rockers Main event time and we have got some nice heat going into this one. Michaels gels so well with Nash and Hall. The crowd is white hot behind these guys as the Rockers are going 100mph here. Both of these teams came in with 15 points from wins last week but only one will walk away this week. These guys go about 15-minutes to cap off a good night of action. The finish sees Marty up for the Razor’s edge but Michaels pulls him off… double savat kick on Hall and here comes Nash. Nash with a clothesline on Michaels, sending him to the floor. Jannetty hits the ropes but Nash hits a BIG BOOT! Nash picks up Jannetty and JACKNIFE! 1...2….3! Hall and Nash with 15 more points!
  8. I think the combinations are working well here. I am a huge fan of Hangman and hope he can rise to the top here and stay there. Punk could be next in line but looks like he's got some old business to take care of. I like the format, I like the pictures, this is some really good stuff.
  9. WEEK 1 Raw 11/29 The Skyscrapers vs The Hardy Boys The Skycrapers are indeed awesome and powerful. It is on full display here with the Hardy Boys. A double jackknife on Matt followed by Sid catching Jeff in the air and hitting him with another powerbomb is all she wrote The Skyscrapers get 15 points! The Road Warriors vs The Nasty Boys The Nasty Boys are harboring some ill feelings from the Survivor Series The Road Warriors do look good The Nasty Boys throw the rulebook out the window though Sags and Knobbs get chairs and attack Animal They beat the hell out of him before Hawk can make an assemblance of a save The Road Warriors win via DQ for 10 points! The Hart Foundation vs Cade & Murdoch Perhaps the match of the night. Cade and Murdoch come to work but so do Bret and Neidhart. This one almost goes the 20 minute time limit. Around the 17-minute mark, we see the Hitman counter a lariat into a pinfall! The Hart Foundation gets 15 points! Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho The Twin Towers A very interesting match up. Benoit and Jericho don’t back down from the Towers by any means Bossman and Akeem look pretty good as a team out here with Slick doing some work outside the ring The finish is interesting when The Towers double team Jericho outside of the ring Benoit then attacks Bossman leading them back in the ring but Bossman and Jericho are the legal men. Akeem then hits Jericho with the 747! Jericho doesn’t get in by the 10-count! The Towers get 10 points for a count out win! Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith vs The Killer Bees Owen and Davey Boy make quick work of the Bees. The Bees are just outmatched by the power of Davey Boy. They do well to handle the speed of Owen but just can’t get over their team work. The spinning heel kick wins it for Owen and Davey Boy for 15 points! Smackdown 12/3 Scott Hall & Kevin Nash vs Double J & The Road Dogg Hall and Nash have it all put together here. Double J and Road Dogg seem to not be able to get their ducks in a row Double J continues to yell at the Roadie The finish sees Scott Hall hit the Roadie with a Razor’s Edge for the 3 count! Hall and Nash get 15 points The Steiner Brothers vs The Smoking Gunns A very good battle here with two teams that know how to do it The Gunns are bringing everything they’ve got against the Steiners but Rick and Scott continue to have an answer! Sunny tries to help her men but Rick Steiner just smiles at her The finals moments see a Frankensteiner on Bart for the 3-count! The Steiners get 15 points! The Rockers vs Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko Match of the night candidate here. These guys go 15-minutes All four men show off their skills Rey ends up being the star of the contest with some arial moves that awe the crowd. The finish sees Dean Malenko fall prey to a big double dropkick from the Rockers for the 3-count! The Rockers get 15 points! The Varsity Club vs The Powers of Pain Power vs Power here and these four men bring some serious meat to these punches. Fuji can’t seem to control his Powers of Pain Williams is losing his cool as well. Rotundo is the only one who attempts to work in the ring but it doesn’t go far Soon all four men are in the ring and the referee loses control for a double dq Both teams get 5 points! Rated RKO vs Sting & Lex Luger A main event if there ever was one. These guys go 18-minutes and everyone is shining. Sting and Luger continue to have issues here and there but seem to be going on the same page right now Edge and Orton are trying to pull any dirty trick that they can Sting and Orton appears to be a match that everyone wants to see again In the final moments, we see Sting duck out of the way of a spear! Luger clotheslines Orton out of the ring to the floor! Edge slowly gets up in the corner and Sting with a STINGER SPLASH! Edge crumbles out and DEATHDROP for the 3-count! A huge victory for Sting and Luger and 15 points to go with it!
  10. World Championship Wrestling! AJ vs Regal could be a fun contest, I would harken it to an RVD v Regal match to some extent. Batista and Rusec is something that I would have loved to see a build towards... then we get the huge upset of P&G beating the Midnights. Makes you wonder what their (MXE) role will be here. Brock... well he's Brock and he's a monster. Solid pick for WCW champion.
  11. I agree with the previous statements, especially with Punk v Kenny. I think that's the one that IRL we will see down the line when they made a huge jump against WWE. Brodie Lee in a premiere spot is also a fun move and a good what if. He had all the tlanet and now you're putting it to use. Eddie is someone that I don't know very much about... but I appreciate the way you're presenting him. I might get behind him if it keeps up.
  12. EXTREME... I have a good appreciation for Jay Lethal and also the Godwinns. Both ends of spectrum but both solid favorites for me. I was always an LAX fans and I was surprised to see them go down here. I will say... without question... that ECW is the most eclectic group of talent and it should be fun to watch how they find spots in this promotion and how you present it.
  13. The Survivor Series video explodes onto the screen showing all the top stars of the WWF and the pairings leading up to tonight's big event. We then cut to ringside with Vince McMahon, Randy Savage, and Bobby the Brain Heenan! They run through the card and talk about how this is going to be a key moment for the teams to get their first feel against one another but also see how well their teams can work in this setting. Enough talk… let’s take it to the ring! The Smoking Gunns w/ Sunny & Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell vs Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch & Double J & The Road Dogg Opening match up doesn’t disappoint, especially with the view of Sunny at ringside. Cade and Murdoch are surprisingly the best duo of the bunch with some solid quick tags. The Bees get eliminated pretty quickly and look to be outmatched. The Road Dogg and Double J argue which leads to the Road Dogg being eliminated. The final moments see the Smoking Gunns double and triple teamed before getting into a huge brawl with Cade and Murdoch… leading to a double count out. Double J is the Sole Survivor! Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko & Matt & Jeff Hardy Vs Edge & Randy Orton & Warlord & Barbarian w/ Fuji A change of pace from the previous contest with regards to the babyfaces of the Hardys, Rey, and Malenko. Edge and Orton don’t seem to be too pleased with their partners right now. Early on we see the speed of the faces help their cause when the Hardys hit a big double dropkick on Warlord and then Rey with a hurricanrana for the pinfall. Barbarian out of nowhere with a clothesline that takes Dean Malenko’s head off. Barb gets the victory there. Matt Hardy then tries to come off the top rope but Barb catches him for a POWERSLAM and the 3-count. The change of momentum doesn’t last too long before Jeff Hardy comes with a huge dropkick to Barbs back before tagging in Rey who nails him with a hurricanrana and the 3-count. Orton and Edge then talk and we see a nice series between all four men. They go about 6-minutes and then Edge and Orton turn it on. Edge hits a spear on Jeff Hardy out of nowhere leading to the 3-count. Rey tries to come off the top rope but Orton counters it into an RKO! Randy Orton & Edge are the Survivors! Rick & Scott Steiner & Sting & Lex Luger Vs Scott Hall & Kevin Nash & Mike Rotundo & Steve Williams This one has got some heat with Hall and Nash having issues with Sting, Luger, and the Steiners. Luger and Sting don’t seem to be on the same page and have some issues with one another while Luger has issues with the Steiners! Rick Steiner and Steve Williams show off some serious power and strength but it doesn’t help either man as they go for a double count out. Rotundo does a majority of the work while Hall and Nash work the outside but they are forced to get involved when Rotundo falls prey to the Scorpion Death Lock! This is where things take a turn… Hall and Nash cause an issue with Luger and Scott Steiner. It ends up with Luger attacking Steiner as Hall and Nash attack both men. Nash ends up in the ring and Jacknifes Sting who looks to be unconscious! Nash then runs outside the ring as officials try to break up the melee but all four men are throwing fists. This causes a double DQ as everyone is outside the ring. Sting is the sole survivor! Dan Spivey & Sid Vicious & Road Warriors Hawk & Animal vs Akeem & Big Bossman w/ Slick & Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs Slick makes his presence known early but ends up getting absolutely rocked by Animal. The Twin Towers vs Skyscraper showdown is epic in the fact that all four men face off and start hammering one another all over the ringside area! Officials can’t break this one up either as all four men are thrown out but the brawl goes into the fans! Inside the ring, we see the Road Warriors show why they’re one of the top teams in wrestling. The Nasty Boys put up an effort but it doesn’t do too much. We see both Nasties eliminated by the Road Warriors as they get the victory! The Road Warriors are the Survivors! Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart & Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty Vs Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith & Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho Main event time, lots of juice, lots of history, here we go. All four men are able to get into the ring during the match and showcase their individual skills. Benoit and Michaels set the bar high only for Jericho and Jannetty to build it up, and then Bret and Owen to put it through the roof. Bulldog and Neidhart do their part… the strength and power. Bulldog obviously has skills but Neidhart isn’t giving him a ton to work with. Our first elimination happens when Jericho goes for a lionsault but Jannetty has made a blind tag and gets his knees up. Jericho is in a rough spot and turns around for Neidhart to come flying off the ropes for a shoulder block and the 3-count! Next up we see Owen Hart nail Marty Jannetty with a spinning heel kick that almost takes his head off for a 3-count. Neidhart is next when Davey and Owen team up on him leading to Benoit hitting the flying headbutt. Davey Boy gets hit with a crucifix and a quick roll up for the 3-count! Owen and Shawn throw some serious bombs. Benoit and Bret go toe to toe. The final eliminations occur when Benoit goes for the flying headbutt but Michaels moves! Benoit gets up and here comes a superkick from Michaels and then the 3-count! Owen then sets up and he hits Michaels with a moonsault off the top rope for the 3-count! It comes down to Owen vs Bret, they go toe to toe for 12-minute to finish off the show. The final elimination occurs when Owen hits a spinning heel kick. Bret stumbles up and Owen locks in a sleeper! Bret looks to be out but he goes up to the ropes and kicks off over the top of Owen to lock him up for the 3-count! Bret Hart is the SOLE SURVIVOR!

  15. Full Gear time... sorry for taking JR but Tony and Excalibur do a good job. I really appreciate the continuation of AEW IRL to this move. Obviously not all the pieces are similar but you do a good job of intertwining. I think the Samoa Joe sighting is probably my biggest takeaway.I thought when he was released from WWE he was surefire going to AEW so I am pumped to see how he can make an impact here more than he already has. Also... CM Punk and Kingston... sign me up. I only wish I could have seen more build up for the feuds as I know I have watched some AEW but not enough to be completely up to speed. But that also means I am looking forward to the fall out and subsequent build to the next big event you put on.
  16. Smackdown 1/19 from Detroit, Michigan Smackdown opens with Jim Ross and Bobby Heenan ringside as the crowd is hot for a big night of action. Bobby Heenan: Who says I am not… listen McMahon… the winner of this tournament is going to be the most prestigious team in wrestling… and perhaps they will be open to the Brain and my managerial services… Vince: What makes you think they’d want you to manage them after they just won the tag league? Mike Rotundo: I heard the Steiners out here earlier… I am surprised they can even complete a sentence. Those idiots don’t know a noun from a pronoun let alone a wristwatch from a wrist watch. We hope that we’re in the same league as you because we want to show you what Syracuse and Oklahoma are all about! Steve Williams: I am so sick and tired of hearing about the Steiners and Michigan… this right here is the Varsity Club. This right here is the best team in wrestling. We’re going to break every single team down and show them why the Varsity Club is the best of the best! *COMMERCIAL* Sting & Lex Luger defeated Ken Rogers & Lyle Mann via the Scorpion Deathlock! Survivor Series 11/24 TEAMS OF FOUR SETTLE THE SCORE! 18. I agree with the sentiments about Brodie... I'd also challenge the idea of mixing one or two people who our outside of this era and how they could come in and fit with what is going on. Obviously a ton of possibilities but it would be interesting to see an outside force in this setting.
  19. We ran a 6 year game with these rules... obviously the talent pool is amazing but we capped it at 40 to keep some limits. So many possibilities.
  20. Smackdown 11/12 JR: Welcome everyone to Smackdown and Randy Savage, this is the beginning of something very special. Savage: That’s right Jimbo… you’re talking about the best tag teams in the world… all in one place… all fighting for one prize! You know this is going to be ELECTRIC! JR: That’s right Randy, you’ve been successful with numerous partners. In this season, we’ll see teams that have similar backgrounds maybe but definitely have the experience to go far. Savage: We know the big points… it is all about the victories not just if you win but how! JR: The points will be the biggest key but also, injuries, we can’t discount how this season will take a physical toll on every single competitor and teams… well they have to be together to win. Savage: Everyone knows that in the WWF, injuries happen, but can you survive? Ha… we’ll just see what happens! JR: Fans tonight we’ll see and hear from some of the teams… the same will happen on Raw and then Smackdown next week. Then we’ll have the draft lottery. Savage: We said the points matter… injuries matter… but what division will these teams be in? I don’t think there is a weak team in the bunch… some may have more experience than others… some have been champions… but when it is all said and done… we don’t know who will stand tall. JR: I think we have some favorites… the Hart Foundation… Luger and Sting… The Rockers! Savage: How about the Road Warriors… Rated RKO… the Steiners… JR: That is just the beginning… fans it is time to head to the ring for our first contest! Matt & Jeff Hardy defeated Mike Stone & Rob Shaw via the Swan Dive! Edge: You know Randy, you and I have had such success as singles wrestlers… we’ve come together to take over the world tag titles. Something no one thought could ever be done… the two top singles wrestlers of their eras coming together with one goal in mind. We’ve both been there before… but together… well… we will be unstoppable. Randy Orton: I like where you’re going with that Edge. You see… all the other teams out there are afraid of the potential that you and I possess. But potential is just wishful thinking. What you’re looking at is real… as real as it comes and trust me when I say that we will destroy everything in our path and we will reign supreme as the most elite… most dominant tag team in the history of this sport. *COMMERCIAL* Mike Rotundo & Steve Williams defeated Ryann Mathers & Erick Waldorf via the Oklahoma Slam! Hawk: Well… they said put the best in the world in one place and see who survives… don’t kid yourself boys… you’re looking at the best and we’re going to prove it night in and night out! Animal: Growing up on the streets of Chicago… We fought for every single thing we had. We had to go up against 2...3….4...5 people at a time but we survived. We love to crack some heads and we’re going to roll anyone in our path! *COMMERCIAL* Rick & Scott Steiner defeated Jim Jennings & Tommy White via the Top Rope Bulldog! Lance Cade: I think this whole thing is going to come down to a team that has got the power and the brains. Well right here… this is a team that has everything you need and we will show it this season. Trevor Murdoch: I don’t have much to say… I do my talking in the ring and I am going to make sure everyone knows exactly what we’re here to do! *COMMERCIAL* Warlord & Barbarian defeated Bob McMahon & Ken Wright via the Tag team shoulder block! Sting: WOOO! Lex… this is it brother… we’ve been to the top of the mountain before but this… ha… yeah… this is a whole new endeavor and my man we’re ready! Lex Luger: Being the best is all about the preparation… we have prepared our entire careers for this season… there is money… power… prestige… respect… everything on the line… you can either run or fight… and we don’t run. *COMMERCIAL* Rey Mysterio Jr & Dean Malenko defeated Hank Knight & Danny Burton via the Hurricanrana! We finish up the show with Ross and Savage putting over the whole night of action. They talk about how we’ll hear from WWF Commissioner Roddy Piper on Raw this Monday as Vince and Savage bring us the action. Plus we’ll see the Rockers, the Colossal Connection, Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho plus The Hart Foundation and Sting & Luger in action!
  21. Vince McMahon: Welcome everyone to the beginning of the new season of the WWF! Here in the World Wrestling Federation, we take pride in being the number one company to showcase the absolute best in tag team wrestling. So much so, that this year, we are going to feature our tag teams in a special league format starting on the 29th of November and ending on March 5th at WrestleMania! We will crown the UNDISPUTED World Tag Team Champions on that special night. Over the next week, on Smackdown and Raw, you will see the top 20 teams in professional wrestling in action. Then on Monday the 22nd of November there will be a special draft lottery in which those 20 teams will be split into a Raw Brand and a Smackdown brand. Each brand will have 10 teams. Those 10 teams will compete against one another over the course of 9 weeks. Teams will get points for victories. For instance, any team with a pinfall or submission victory will receive 15 points. A count out or disqualification will be 10. If a team wins via forfeit, they will receive 5 points. No points are given for a draw. No points are given for a loss. At the end of the 9 weeks, we will see who the top team in each brand is, they will receive a first round bye in their elimination bracket. Then the next 5 highest scoring teams will be put into the bracket. Finally, there will be a last chance shot for the 4 lowest teams in which the winner will receive the final spot in the elimination bracket. At the end of the elimination bracket, the finals will be held at WrestleMania with the crowning of the Undisputed WWF Tag Team Champions!
  22. Thanks for all your feedback. I am not sure what the next project will be. I don't know if Kevin will give me a chance to join you guys due to our history. You could always let me come in and run your MACW developmental If that's the case, I will find a way to keep the juices flowing. Stay tuned.
  23. MACW & GCW - Event @ Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA 9/19/1981 GCW vs MACW Final Conflict Best of the Rest Battle Royal MACW: Blackjack Mulligan, Ivan Koloff, Nikolai Volkoff, Mr. Fuji, Baron Von Raschke, Don Kernodle, Bret Hart, Jay Youngblood, Hacksaw Butch Reed, & Hacksaw Jim Duggan GCW: Assassin #1, Assassin #2, Buzz Sawyer, Bobby Eaton, Jim Brunzell, Kevin Sullivan, Matt Borne, Mike Rotundo, Steve O, & Terry Taylor Results: A big opener with teams drawn right down the middle but right from the outset, thing get out of hand with Ivan Koloff and Blackjack Mulligan go right to work on one another and we see Sullivan, Sawyer, & Borne take the chance to toss the two of them. The Hacksaws team up to get the Assassins out and then we see Fuji, Volkoff, & Baron taking out Bobby Eaton while Bret Hart eliminates Don Kerndole putting a caper on that feud. We’re dwindled down and some of the highlights see Brunzell, Rotundo, & Taylor teaming up against the Triangle of Terror and throughout the chaos, Nikolai Volkoff is the only one standing tall. On the other side of the ring, we see the Hacksaws taking out Sullivan and Borne but also going out themselves. We’re down to Bret, Youngblood & Nikolai vs Sawyer & Steve O. Nikolai then turns on Youngblood and starts working him over while Sawyer throws out Steve O and then goes up against Bret. These four throw some nice shots and Bret looks good but he gets backdropped over the top rope and sent to the floor with a nasty bump! Sawyer and Nikolai then team up on Youngblood and throw him out. That gives Bret a chance to get back in and he is fighting off both men. The finish sees Bret go for a running clothesline on Nikolai but he ducks and Bret tackles Sawyer and then go into the ropes while Nikolai comes from behind and tosses both men! Nikolai Volkoff is the winner and MACW goes up 1-0! Tag Titles vs Tag Titles Dick Slater & Jake Roberts vs Bob Orton & JJ Dillon -Another hot one with some juice due to Orton and Dillon turning on Slater plus Roberts is one of the ones who started this whole issue with GCW. These guys go about 12-minutes. Orton does a brunt of the work and he and Slater look good. Roberts is also on top of his game. We see him and Orton battle out to the ring and that gives Slater a chance to get his revenge on Dillon before hitting him with a BRAINBUSTER for the 3-count! Slater & Roberts get the victory and MACW is up 2-0! NWA Six-Man Championship Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, & Bobby Heenan vs The Freebirds © -Much like the previous match, there is some nice juice here. It is a little odd with both teams kind of getting some heat from the crowd. Studd & Bundy look very strong here. Gordy is the workhorse of the match. Hayes is the one who puts it all over the top. The finish is a nice one because we see Studd and Bundy go toe to toe with Gordy and he is holding his own but then we see Hayes get his hands on Bobby Heenan and hits the DDT for the finish. The Birds retain the six-man titles but there seems to be a little more meat on this bone. The Freebirds retain the six-man titles and get a win for GCW but they trail 1-2! TV title v TV title Unification Match for NWA Television Championship! Tito Santana vs Paul Orndorff -This is an interesting match with both of these titles being taken away with the winner becoming the new NWA World Television Champion. Orndorff and Santana go right up to the 20-minute time limit and leave everything out there in the ring. The finish sees Santana go for the flying forearm but Orndorff ducks and pulls the ropes down and Santana goes out of the ring to the floor! Santana took a nasty bump and now Orndorff goes out and picks up the body of Santana to throw him back in the ring and hits a piledriver for good measure and the 3-count! Paul Orndorff wins the NWA World Television Championship and puts GCW at 2-2! NWA United States Championship Sgt. Slaughter vs Ron Garvin -This one just doesn’t seem to have the juice of the others. Garvin is a viable contender and Slaughter looks good. The previous finish a couple of months ago wasn’t very satisfying and this one is a little more clear cut as Garvin goes for the big right hand but Sarge ducks and then grabs the cobra clutch and Garvin seems to be in a bad way before going down. Garvin tries to fight back and hits the turnbuckle and nails Slaughter who stumbles and Garvin comes back but Sarge hits a nasty ero uppercut and gets a backslide 3 count for the victory! Sgt. Slaughter retains the NWA United States Championship and MACW is up 3-2! MACW Title vs NWA National Ken Patera vs Tommy Rich -Another good one with some meat. These two guys bring everything they’ve got and Heenan oes his best outside the ring to build the heat. He takes some shots at Tommy Rich every chance he gets before Earl Hebner tosses him from ringside. This gives Rich a chance to fight back. He is a Wildfire and throwing some huge bombs. He sets up Patera and goes for the Thesz Press but Patera grabs him and locks in the bearhug! He has Rich locked up. The crowd seems to be behind Tommy Rich here. They are cheering for him and he starts to fight back and a nasty headbutt on Patera breaks the bearhug. Rich hits the ropes for another Thesz Press but Patera ducks and Rich counters into a sunset flip and he’s got Patera off guard for a 3-count! Tommy Rich wins and ties it up at 3-3 for both companies. NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Ric Flair © vs Roddy Piper -We get a little break here in the big event for a huge main event. These guys have go a lot of issue with one another and it boils over early in the match. They start fast and begin battling all over the ringside area. Piper and Flair both get busted open early and this one seems to be getting out of hand. They go back in the ring and slow things down. Flair tries to work the leg while Piper works the neck and the back. Flair makes a big comeback to hammer away at Piper but Roddy goes with a low blow to counter and then he takes control. Piper is looking to finish with a lot of work on the neck and goes for the sleeper hold. He’s got it locked in and then Flair counters with a jawbreaker! Piper is reeling and Flair goes for a small package but Piper kicks out. They get up and Piper swings wild but Flair ducks and Atomic Drop and then he grabs the leg for the figure-four but Piper pulls him into a roll up for a 2-count but Flair pushes over and he’s got Piper locked up for the 3-count! Ric Flair retains the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! FINAL SHOWDOWN MACW: Wahoo McDaniel, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, Greg Valentine, & Harley Race GCW: Ole Anderson, Ted Dibiase, Stan Hansen, Don Muraco , Masked Superstar -A big time main event with a lot on the line. Jim Crockett Jr even comes out and he is at ringside. We get the first two entries and it is Ricky Steamboat and Masked Superstar. They get things going and Steamboat seems to be the fire that MACW needs right now and he is hammering away but Superstar has got some nice power and strength to slow him down. The first five minutes do go fast and we’ve got Tom Miller counting down as we see Ole Anderson come out and it is 2-1. They’re hammering away at Steamboat and beating the hell out of him and working right in front of Crockett! Ole is really letting Crockett have it before Tom Miller runs down the time for our next competitor… -Barry Windham runs out and he is a house of fire throwing some huge bombs at both men. If you remember, this all started with Windham hurting Gene Anderson which led to everything falling apart. He and Ole are going toe to toe and really beating the piss out of one another. Time is running down and here comes Ted Dibiase! He seems like a man on an island but he goes after Steamboat while Ole and Masked Superstar work over Windham and he is busted open like a stuck pig! Windham is a mess right now. Time is running down and here comes Greg Valentine! Valentine comes in and he is throwing bombs at everyone and the crowd even pops when Valentine and Ole start throwing! Barry Windham is still in a very bad way as Ricky Steamboat tries to cover him up before Tom Miller runs down the time… -Stan Hansen comes out and he is a wildman. He hammers away at everyone before we see the first elimination as Barry Windham, a bloody mess, is tossed over the top rope by Ole Anderson! Steamboat and Valentine have their backs against the wall as time runs down for our next competitor… Wahoo McDaniel! Wahoo comes in and evens the odds. He and Stan Hansen are throwing some legit bombs at one another. These guys are showing the world there are no two tougher men in the business. In the end we see them both go over the top as the time runs down. Here comes Don Muraco! Muraco jumps in and he joins Dibiase in beating down Valentine. On the other side of the ring we see a huge dropkick from Steamboat that sends Masked Superstar over the top to the floor! Time is running down… here comes the final man… Harley Race! -We’ve got Steamboat, Race, & Valentine against Dibiase, Muraco, & Ole Anderson. Everyone singles up against one another and it is Harley Race who really looks good. Dibiase makes a huge wave when he tackles Race from behind and tosses him over the top rope to the floor! Race can’t believe it but here comes Steamboat tossing out Dibiase! Muraco and Ole then double up on Valentine and toss him to the floor! Ole and Muraco look excited to get their hands on Steamboat, Mid Atlantic’s final option! He comes with a fire that is unmatched. He’s throwing at both men and leaving everything out there. The crowd is solidly behind him! They are screaming for Steamboat. Ole and Muraco then get the upperhand and double him up and look for the final elimination but when Ole runs at clotheslines Steamboat ducks and Ole clotheslines Muraco out of the ring to the floor! It is Ole and Steamboat. Ole still jumps on and takes the upperhand before Steamboat fires back with some huge chops and then Ole with a huge low blow! Ole then tosses Steamboat out of the ring and Ole thinks he has won it but Steamboat skins the cat. Ole is screaming at Crockett who gets up on the apron. Steamboat climbs to the top rope. Crockett smiles at Ole and tells him to turn around. Ole does so and Steamboat with a high cross body off the top rope and the roll up as TommyYoung makes the 1….2…..3!!!!! MACW HAS WON IT! MACW HAS WON IT! STEAMBOAT PINS OLE ANDERSON! The crowd is going wild! Here comes Wahoo, Youngblood, Tito, Slater, Roberts, The Hacksaws, Bret Hart! The babyfaces come out and even Jim Crockett shakes Steamboat’s hand and raises his arm in the air! Ole holds his head and walks back up the aisle. He is irate and can’t believe it. Steamboat welcomes him back in the ring. Ole walks off as the crowd is going absolutely wild for Steamboat and the Mid Atlantic Crew!
  24. MACW TV Taping - TV-Show @ in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA MACW opens with footage from last week and the attack on Ric Flair along with the gloating by Roddy Piper. We then see the heated promo from Flair. We also see footage from the tag team match in which Ivan Koloff pinned Blackjack Mulligan to earn the final spot in the Final Showdown match tomorrow night. We welcome Jim Crockett Jr. Jim Crockett Jr.; Ladies and gentlemen, last week we saw a special tag team encounter in which the loser of the fall was taken out of the big Showdown match tomorrow night. Upon further review, we saw the use of the chain by Ivan Koloff which led to that victory. Furthermore, the officials here in the Mid Atlantic have decided to remove Mr. Koloff from that match. We are hoping to find a suitable replacement before the end of our broadcast. Additionally, after speaking with representatives of the National Wrestling Alliance and Georgia Championship Wrestling, we’ve come to an agreement that the MACW vs GCW television champion match will now be a unification bout. Mr. Santana and Mr. Orndorff will fight for the right to be the undisputed NWA World’s Television Champion. I’d also like to announce that tomorrow night’s World’s Heavyweight Championship Match will have extra security at ringside due to the nature of this issue between Ric Flair and Roddy Piper. I have spoken to the Greensboro Police Department and extra officials will be ringside. We hope to have a fun night tomorrow night but more importantly, a night that shows the dominance of Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling! Caudle and Crockett put it over as we head to the ring for our opening contest… The Hacksaws defeated Mike Jones & Skip Jackson via the Flying Shoulder Block! A quick promo from Duggan and Reed who say they are back in the Mid Atlantic because they can’t trust Ole Anderson. They may not have a big dog in the fight but they plan on bringing the lumber and proving themselves to all the Mid Atlantic fans! *COMMERCIAL* We’re back with Caudle and Crockett putting over the announcement of Koloff & Mulligan being out of the Final Conflict Showdown and setting up the big match here tonight. Blackjack Mulligan vs Ivan Koloff -Not much of a contest. We get some heavy brawling early before Ivan takes over but Mulligan fights back in a big way before the fight spills outside of the ring. Nothing really great happens other than a brawl that spills all over the ringside area before the referee hits the Double DQ and officials try to break it up! *COMMERCIAL* We’re back with a special taped promo from Ric Flair… Flair: You know for all of my career, I have had the goal of becoming world champion. I beat Harley Race is Kansas City and it was perhaps the greatest night of my career… but the night before… a man who I called my friend turned his back on me and stabbed me right in the back and twisted that knife. A week ago… he attacked me with some thugs and proved he is nothing more than a low down piece of trash. Roddy Piper… you and I have been in the ring before… numerous times… well brother tomorrow night it is different. It is for this title. The World’s Heavyweight Championship. But more than that… I am fighting you to show you why I am the man! I am gonna dog you Piper and I am gonna run you out of Greensboro… run you out of the Mid Atlantic… and run you out of Wrestling once and for all! Bret Hart defeated Tenryu via the Piledriver *COMMERCIAL* We’re back with Caudle and Crockett putting over the arrival of Harley Race a couple of weeks ago. They talk about Jay Youngblood calling him out leading to our big contest here tonight. Jay Youngblood vs Harley Race -A great showcase for Race as he makes Youngblood look pretty good here but let’s the fans know he is in complete control. Race takes some liberties with Youngblood and beats the piss out of him. Youngblood mounts a comeback but Race breaks it off with the big high knee and then sets him up for a brainbuster! Oh my! Race covers for the 3-count. Harley Race walks over to the booth and calls out Jim Crockett Jr… he says that after his ruling on Mulligan and Koloff… he will take that final spot… and when he wins… he will get the next shot at Flair. Crockett has no choice but to agree and shakes his hand. Has Jim Crockett sealed his own fate with this agreement? *COMMERCIAL* Caudle and Crockett put over the huge announcement of Harley Race joining Rick Steamboat, Wahoo McDaniel, Greg Valentine, & Barry Windham in the big Showdown match tomorrow night. They say the rules are as follows. One member of each team starts the match. Every two minutes another member of a team will come out as they alternate until all ten men have entered. Elimination can occur via throw over the top rope, pinfall, or submission. There are no count outs and no disqualifications. They say that if GCW wins… Crockett loses control of the Mid Atlantic to Ole Anderson… while if Mid Atlantic wins… Anderson will be banned from the Mid Atlantic and presumably so will all the members of GCW! Ken Patera, King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd, & Bobby Heenan defeated four jobbers when Heenan made the pinfall! Heenan and his crew come over and put over how they’ll be the next six-man champions and there’s nothing that the Freebirds can do about it. He says they are going to take those Freebird feathers and stuff those turkeys! We then get a promo from Ricky Steamboat, Wahoo McDaniel, & Barry Windham putting over the big Showdown match. Valentine and Race come out and you can tell there’s a lot of tension throughout this team but they said they have to work together or perhaps it could be the last time… Valentine says that… that may be for the best of everyone... *COMMERCIAL* Caudle and Crockett make one more big play for tomorrow night. Greensboro will be rocking and so much will be on the line. They put over the TV Title unification… the champion v champion matches and so much more. Slaughter & Don Kernodle -A good main event… tag titles are on the line and we don’t get a change but do see some good action. Sarge carries his team while Roberts and Slater have become a decent unit. The finish sees Sarge all but leave Kernodle to the wolves… or snakes if you will… and Roberts grabs Donny for a nasty DDT and gets the cover. The champs look good tonight and have big plans for tomorrow when they take on JJ Dillon and Bob Orton Jr! Take a look at the big card in Greensboro tomorrow night! This title right here is the cherry on top that says I am the MAN! Woo! Crockett: We know that there have been a lot of words from guys like Harley Race and Roddy Piper… you’ll meet Piper in two weeks in Greensboro… Ric Flair: Here’s the thing… Piper… you and I had a go at it this summer but we came back together. That was because of Harley Race. That was because of this. Then… you go back to two weeks ago in Greensboro… you stabbed me in the back and you stabbed all the fans in the Mid Atlantic in the back and brother… you crossed the line. Understand this… in two weeks… you are going to get a Ric Flair you’ve never seen before… Now Harley Race… if anyone deserves a shot at this title it is you and pal, you just tell me where and when and I will be there. Crockett: What about the Final Conflict… do you have a dog in the fight? Ric Flair: Well David… I have wrestled here in the Mid Atlantic for quite some time… I have also wrestled in Georgia… I can’t say that I want one company to win over the other… but I can say that I want to see Ole Anderson get his come uppings and I will watch it with a smile on my face! Crockett: Alright fans… we’ve got a huge card… the Mid Atlantic Television Championship is on the line tonight plus we’ve got a big tag team match in which the loser of the fall is out of the Final Conflict team match… right now let’s see the two men who have been named to the team already… Rick Steamboat and the Chief, Wahoo McDaniel! Wahoo McDaniel & Ricky Steamboat defeated Frank Wiliams & Mike Starr via the Flying Crossbody! Wahoo and Ricky walk over and put over the final conflict. They say that all four men in that big tag team match are rough and tough but they want to know who the others will be joining Ole Anderson. They say they will be proud to fight for the honor of Mid Atlantic but they would rather fight alongside Windham and Mulligan than Valentine and Koloff! We’ll find out who joins them later tonight! *COMMERCIAL* MACW is back and we’re joined by the Triangle of Terror with Sheik Adnan. He’s got the Baron, Fuji, and Nikolai all pumped up. We’re back and here comes Harley Race. He is going after Piper and saying that he didn’t finish the job but Harley will be happy to finish off Ric Flair once and for all! They put the stakes on the line… the man who is the loser of the fall of the next match is out while the other three will move on and join Rick Steamboat and Wahoo McDaniel in the Final Conflict next week in Greensboro… let’s head to the ring! FINAL CONFLICT SPOT MATCH LOSER OF THE FALL IS OUT OF THE MATCH! Blackjack Mulligan & Barry Windham vs Ivan Koloff & Greg Valentine A huge match with huge stakes on the line. Windham seems to be the one who has the most to gain here. Koloff and Valentine are an odd but fun pairing and work very well together. These guys go about 12-minutes and Koloff and Valentine isolate Windham only for him to make a big comeback and tag in Mulligan who comes in like a house of fire! The crowd is really rocking for this one and Mulligan is letting them all have it. Barry has found a way to get back up and he comes off the top rope with a huge clothesline on Valentine and they go tumbling out of the ring. The referee has lost control but then Ivan...he grabs the Russian chain… Mulligan turns around and CRACK! Koloff throws the chain out and covers him for the 3-count! Koloff, Valentine, and Barry Windham go on while Mulligan won’t be part of the Final Conflict Showdown! *COMMERCIAL* MACW is back and Mulligan and Windham are there. Barry agrees and Wahoo and Steamboat say they’ll be there to even the odds. Ken Patera, Big John Studd, & King Kong Bundy defeated Rick Carlisle, Sam Stone, & Phil Roberts via the Bear Hug Splash! Heenan comes over and puts over his men for a moment. He talks about challenging the Freebirds for the six-man titles and he says that he will be joining Bundy and Studd as their partner but there won’t be much of a need for him to get involved because the Freebirds will be fried chickens when all is said and done! Then we see Ric Flair come out and Bobby Heenan backs his men off… Flair grabs the microphone… his shirt is ripped… his head is bandaged… Ric Flair: PIPER! You coward! You no good son of a bitch! You want to try me pal… C’MON! I am right here! C’Mon Piper! You yellow coward. All your life you’ve been a punk and can’t be trusted. Well pal… Greensboro… one week from tomorrow… I am going to dog you like no one ever has. I am going to be on you and I am going to run you down like never before. If you can walk when it is all said and done then I won’t be the World’s Champion pal. So Piper… anyone from Georgia… listen to me when I tell you that I am coming for your ass… WOOO! *COMMERCIAL* Big night of action capped by a huge main event. TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana © vs Nikolai Volkoff w/ Sheik Adnan -A good main event match for the TV title as Santana and Nikolai do some decent work out here. Nikolai uses his power and strength to show off what he brings to the table while Santana can sell like no other. Soon we’ve got the Baron and Fuji out here… they are roughing up Santana on every turn but Tito finds a way to fight back and he fires up before hitting the ropes and then the Flying Forearm! He covers but the Baron and Fuji jump in the ring for the DQ finish… As the Triangle start to beat him down… the crowd is surprised to see Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Hacksaw Butch Reed, decked out in American Flag Shirts… and 2x4s… run out and they chase off the Triangle of Terror.
