Maybe 12 until round 10 and 6 after? That seems easy enough... you have to be invested in something like this to finish it...

PWO 1988 - 1992 Draft Discussion
Yeah Monday is a tough day to draft, hence me pushing for the weekend. We'll see what happens and go from there. If someone misses 2 or 3 picks we can evaluate their participation. We'll get it done.

NWA World Wrestling Council November
Spectacular return to the game. I don't mind the announcer focus. I wrote some shows like that a couple of years ago. It was an interesting change from the format I use. I need to get caught up with some of the guys on your roster, but definitely a great way to kick things off.

PWO 1988 - 1992 Draft Discussion
Last pick is tough draw but really sets the tone for the rest especially with two in a row. I'm interested if people go outside of North America and who the top dogs are. A Japanese hybrid would be great. A Mexican all star roster. A ton of possibilities

PWO 1988 - 1992 Draft Discussion
I will create a database thread as well to not only update the master draft list but also start putting more rosters together so it will be a quicker reference. As a reminder we will enforce a 24-hour time. For a draft pick for the first 20 rounds or so and then cut it down at 12. If you need a proxy just send me your list

I agree with that sentiment

PWO 1988 - 1992 Draft Discussion
I think it is up to you... for me, I plan on making my roster, creating a post to hype a show and then writing it out. In terms of the next stage... the idea of a Keeper would be interesting... and then to add to it, maybe only one keeper and reverse order from this initial draft to begin the draft. The idea of 93-97 is very complexing to me in terms of the sheer amount of talent who could be top tier guys. I know 88-92 is glamorized but in my opinion, there are more top tier guys in that 93-97 draft than this one. The 88-92 has a ton of complimentary workers which gives it the edge of 93-97. We can do this draft and then outline some plans and ideas. The idea of 1 keeper is something I am interested in for sure.

PWO 1988 - 1992 Draft Discussion
I understand the idea of having a spreadsheet but honestly if we were to try and compile a list it would have thousands of names on it especially since we're going from all over the world and it would just be too much to try and grasp. I can give you some links to look at some people that were active at that time maybe look at the pwi lists or something like that as a reference I know that's what I did to make my big board that's got over 200 names on it already and that's just people that I'd like to draft not necessarily the thousands that are available to draft

I really like this pairing with Lutte. You guys have a lot of complimentary pieces for one another. Just enough of the same and different to be meaningful.

PWO 1988 - 1992 Draft Discussion
I agree to an extent.. Savage and Hogan are so much more than a tag team plus their tag encounters can be counted on one hand... perhaps that the is the equation behind it. If the team had more than 20 matches... that makes them a team?

https://www.gillmeister-software.com/online-tools/text/reverse-sort-list.aspx Thank you to whomever created that tool. Draft orders have been done... double check if you think I have made a mistake. Everything looked good to me but I am tired. Draft started Monday morning @ 8am. Keep up the fun conversation here if you'd like... I am sure everyone is keeping their cards close... I will go on record and say 1992 is a WEIRD year for lot of guys... some great youngsters starting while older guard fading... lots of fun people to look into and pick from.

WWF Presents: All-American Wrestling Mean Gene Okerlund & Pat Patterson SD Jones defeated Mark Williams Paul Roma & Jim Powers defeated Frank Smith & Rick Parks Big Bossman w/ Ted Dibiase defeated Kenny Smitts From Madison Square Garden The Fantastics vs the Sheepherders -A good 15-minute contest that goes all over the ringside area. We see fighting and brawling and even some flying here but when all's said and done it ends up being a double DQ. WWF Presents: Superstars of Wrestling Hosted By: Vince McMahon & Jesse ‘ The Body’ Ventura Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena -Jesse and Vince open up the show putting over the big MSG show from this past week and we cut to the big tag team title match from that event! From Madison Square Garden TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana & Barry Windham vs the Fabulous Ones w/ Jimmy Hart -Gorilla and Lord Alfred are going on and on about how in the world The Fabulous Ones got a shot this quickly. Gorilla thinks that Jimmy Hart lined some pockets and maybe paid some people off. Lord Alfred wonders if it was Bobby Heenan who got the money because he should have gotten the rematch. Regardless, this is a very fun 18-minute contest with these guys going all over. Windham and Santana are flying with the Fabs who are selling well but also showing what their made of. Jimmy Hart is very motivated and animated outside of the ring. Around the 18-minute mark, we see a big tag to Windham who comes in with a house of fire and he is backing up the Fabs with some big time shots. Jimmy Hart gets up on the ring and he tries to swing with the Megaphone but he gets ROCKED by Barry Windham! Stan Lane from behind and he nails Windham who falls into the ropes. BAM! OUT OF NOWHERE! RICK RUDE! RUDE RAN DOWN AND NAILED WINDHAM WITH THE MEGAPHONE! Windham is laid out in the ring and he is busted wide open! Lane falls on him for the cover and the 1….2….3!! WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! OMG! The crowd is shocked! Rude has disappeared. Inside the ring Jimmy Hart is going just absolutely wild for the Fabs with the tag titles! Gorilla and Hayes are in shock. Windham is helped out of the ring… once again… busted wide open by Rick Rude here in MSG just as he was a month ago. -We are back and Vince and Jesse continue to put over the big MSG card. They talk about how Bobby Heenan has been lining his pockets with help from Ted Dibiase and then Jimmy Hart. They put over Gino Hernandez as a challenger for the IC title and how the Heenan Family is on the rise! Manny Fernandez vs The Missing Link w/ Mr. Fuji -A great showcase for both men. Many is getting great at selling and right now Link is really only good for looking menacing. He poses a little threat but nothing major. The fight goes outside of the ring and we end up with a fun little moment where Link runs and nails Fuji when Manny ducks and then grabs him for a Brainbuster outside the ring! Manny rolls back in for a 10-count and the crowd pops. This one is far from over as the war has just begun. Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Lars Vincent Barry Windham: Man it is like something was stolen from me. Rick Rude… you took those tag titles from me and once again you busted open this wound that just won’t heal. Brother you and I have got a date with destiny and don’t think for a moment it won’t be paved with your blood, sweat, and tears! Demolition defeated Bob Bradley & Barry Horowitz -Ax and Smash are just a little more vicious here tonight. They really work over Bradley and Horowitz before getting the pinfall. Vince and Jesse put over how they have made their contention to be the number one contenders for the tag titles… but when will they get their shot? -Vince and Jesse close out the show pumping up how next week we will have the first ever Body Shop with Jesse Ventura!

WWF on Tour November 1985
WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena -A special edition of Challenge today with Gorilla and Bobby running down some of the shows from the Garden this past week. Bobby is gloating after Gorilla announces the first contest that they go in depth on… we cut to the ring. Gorilla and Hayes are in shock. Windham is helped out of the ring… once again… busted wide open by Rick Rude here in MSG just as he was a month ago. -After the title change, we hear how Bobby Heenan sold the tag title rematch to Jimmy Hart after finding out that Chris Adams was going to injured for a longer period of time. He says that he is putting Adams out to pasture and that Gino Hernandez is going to be going solo from here on out and has a hope to get his hands back on the IC Title. Gorilla points out how Heenan has been getting money from Dibiase and now from Hart… he must be doing pretty well. The Fantastics vs the Sheepherders -A good 15-minute contest that goes all over the ringside area. We see fighting and brawling and even some flying here but when all's said and done it ends up being a double DQ. Jake Roberts vs Gino Hernandez w/ Bobby Heenan -The first of what Bobby Heenan calls Gino Hernandez’ revenge run for the title. He gets going here with a tough matchup against Jake Roberts and we see these guys battle each other pretty tough. Both men look really good though and the finish is controversial as Heenan does get involved. Roberts hits the running knee lift before prepping for the DDT but Heenan goes in and grabs his leg to serve long enough for Hernandez to come from behind with a big knee to the back and then a roll up with a handful of tights for the 3-count. Hernandez and Heenan work the crowd. This is beginning of something beautiful as Heenan says that Hernandez wants some gold!
