Just bought tickets to the ROH/NJ shows for May. Hoping the lineup is good.

So, if a great wrestler gets buried in a mediocre spot, is he still great?

So, assuming Punk is legitimately done, and his career can be viewed in its entirety, I think he's a shoe in for me, and probably high on my list.

So, first few weeks in NXT are the most interested I've been in Steen possibly ever. Might - and I stress MIGHT - be interested in seeing how the next year plays out.

You've got to ask him about the the crowds in the Maritimes. Might be the last territory where grandma would legitimately attack heels on the way to the ring.

I like Nagata, and think he could be built up to making a run at/near the top. But, he wasn't even main card at the Tokyo Dome. He needs a solid six month run building him back up to make a win like that either mean anything or be plausible. He and Nakamura will have a good match though, and that's what's most important. Also, since I figure Nakamura holding a belt and Okada not is going to be the impetus of the build to their eventual match, I can't see him losing it now.

Bobby Bass is fun to talk to, I can only imagine how fun a book might be.

If I put stars on matches, my list would look much different. You must feel that was the best show ever, no?

Sometimes great booking is doing the obvious. Sometimes it's doing the opposite. At the start of the next chapter is usually the worst time to judge, particularly in a promotion that makes an effort to grow things organically for the most part.

Finally finished the show after falling asleep during Omega/Taguchi. Omega's offense was good, and while it wasn't a blow away match, it was as interested in a Taguchi match as I have been in a while. The tag match was shockingly good, and by far the best match Guns and Gallows had. Styles and Naito had a really solid match, but we're blown away by the last two matches. Nakamura and Ibushi were shockingly violent and went to a different level. Then the main event.....definitely did not feel too long to me. Shocked that Tanahashi won, but that match built to a really hot finish that I thought was great. I still do not get the air guitar though. Really curious what Okada does going forward. Might be that not having a belt around his waist while his CHAOS teammate does starts to bother him a bit.

Is anyone watching on PPV? How are Ross and Striker doing?

Hopefully Ishii can take some time and heal now. He may have picked up a few new injuries in that one.

And now the good stuff starts....

This "shoot" match is quite bad, and I really like Suzuki.

Except an additional 40,000 people. And a boatload of extra talent.

TMDK looked decent. I'd be ok with them being added to the tag scene.

Well, that was short enough to not be totally offensive. Karen Jarrett may contemplate different attire next time out.
