I'm not really into ranking matches. I don't finish watching a show and wonder if the main event is one of the 10 best matches to ever happen in the promotion. But that main event was way better than any of the other matches on the show. I have no clue how they ever thought Owens/Rollins could have followed that.

Well, we had one HIAC match and two matches that took place in a cell.

Pretty smart match. They went with the injury angle going in, so Bayley's selling could carry most of the match. Didn't overstay its welcome like the opening HIAC match.

That matched started off like a WWE 2K17 Career Mode HIAC match, but it got pretty good later on, roughly after the kendo stick was introduced. That Accolade with the chain on the steps was fucking great.

Isn't she on Total Divas now? Maybe they just want her to look more like she does in real life.

Roman Reigns, the most despicable heel on Raw, who attacked a man's innocent family and interrupted his wedding, will finally be vanquished by the lovable Bulgarian babyface Rusev.

New podcast idea: TNA Lockdown Excite Series

I don't even understand how people with jobs put out consistent podcasts. I could never do it, so props for just hitting the weekly deadline at all.

Thanks for dropping this a bit earlier. On WWE PPV weeks it's nice to listen to this podcast before the show.

I'm irrationally psyched for this PPV. Maybe I just want to get my mind off of the election. I think Sasha/Charlotte will be the best HIAC match, followed by Reigns/Rusev. The undercard has a really wide range of potential outcomes in terms of match quality, so that will probably determine the overall quality of the show.

Nia Jax hasn't been on TV in a while...

I think the secret to enjoying WWE is not watching everything. Sometimes I watch the TV if it's building up to a big show or I have some time I want to kill, but generally I just watch the "special events" and anything particularly good that's pointed out online or in a podcast. I don't think you miss much this way, and most of the feuds are explained in video packages or on the preshow.

It's not like the Universal Title feud is really any different. It's a rehashed Authority era "face of the company" storyline, where the feud is about who has the approval of HHH and Stephanie, except HHH can't even be bothered to come on TV to explain himself until football season is over.
