I feel like WWE AJ would have a better one-off special attraction match with Shawn Michaels than WWE Bryan. Still seems unlikely to happen, although it is a bit odd that AJ would mention it in an SI interview if it was definitely not happening.

The Stardom office was trying to say that the piledriver from the apron wasn't what caused her last concussion, but it's hard to shake that feeling when you watch it.

What's the story behind this one?

The Twisted Sisterz, holders of the esteemed NWA Western States Tag Team Championship, are going to Stardom with the belts. Should be interesting given that they were in Oedo Tai before, and Oedo Tai now hold the Stardom tag team belts.

And they went with 3 cell matches even though it's a single brand PPV, which they haven't done since the original HIAC one-off PPV in 2009.

I took a look back at past HIAC main events and it isn't pretty. Lesnar vs. Undertaker? Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose was a pretty hot feud in the summer of 2014, but it was starting to cool off around HIAC and the finish to the match was a total joke. I think what makes this worse to some people is they aren't even trying to shoehorn the match into the feud or sell the stip. They're just happy to be in a cell and cause pain to themselves because of the Women's Revolution.

Ah, thanks. I didn't mean anything by it; I just thought it was strange, so I posted it. On a positive note, hopefully getting surgery for her neck pain will help Paige get over whatever substance abuse issues she has been having.

Maybe they'll curb their self-indulgence and not hug in the middle of the ring after the match. Sasha just took time off for a back injury, and she's managed to cut back the excess bumping since then. I wonder if being in a main event gimmick match will resurrect her bad habits.

Dana also botched the finish of the match. She was supposed to win with her feet on the ropes, but she was too far away to make it happen. Pretty interesting that 3 former NXT champions jobbed back-to-back tonight on what is supposedly HHH's show.

I saw the rumors on 2ch (which is a weird place btw) about Io Shirai going to WWE and the match with Yoko Bito is one to look out for. Also look out for Kaho Kobayashi as she's leaving Wave "overseas excursion". She's really good already and unless she's working in AAA, I would bet she would be in that tournament too. Not to parrot Joe Lanza but WWE needs to get as many wrestlers as they can from the Joshi scene in order for the tournament to look good. Kairi Hojo has openly said in an interview (on Stardom World, no less) that she wants to go to WWE. It makes sense, given that she wrestles the closest to a WWE style out of everyone in that promotion. She wouldn't even have to change her spots.

She's definitely one of the more experienced women there. Having a faction with a woman doesn't really make sense unless there's going to be another faction with a woman for her to feud with. Rachel Ellering in the Authors of Pain doesn't seem too likely.

I wonder if they will turn this into an angle and have a match for the right to marry Paige.

Nikki Cross from Sanity in NXT was previously Nikki Storm on the indies, not Crazy Mary Dobson.

Asuka is on such a different level that it's hard to even see anyone on the current roster beating her for the title. Maybe Ember Moon will get better from training in the Performance Center, but she isn't ready if you judge her based on her indie work. What's the end game? Will they call her up? Does she just reign on top of the division and then go back to Japan when she's overthrown?

I really hope she rebounds from whatever problems she has now. She showed good performances in the pre-Revolution era, but has never had a standout match in the new world of raised standards. The women's division has had really inconsistent attendance this year, from Nicki being out, Sasha's on-again-off-again schedule, the injury and drugs with Paige, and now Becky Lynch's mysterious medical issue.

In the spirit of the Women's Revolution, Paige really deserves her own thread about her downward spiral that isn't named after Del Rio.

These big Sasha matches are like Sabu matches where the near-death botches are part of the mystique. Edit: she's even taped up.
