NXT Takeover: New York
That match certainly had a lot of move reversals. (Snark aside, happy for Johnny of course.)

WWE/A&E "Biography"
https://www.f4wonline.com/wwe-news/wwe-ae-co-producing-five-biography-documentaries-280846 I didn't know A&E still did these. Seems like a reaction to the Viceland documentaries that are premiering soon. From the article, Billy Corben will be directing the Savage episode. He's pretty notable (he did the "Cocaine Cowboys" docs), so hopefully that one at least won't be the WWE-whitewashed version of history.

WWE TV 04/01 - 04/08: The Brazilian Military Dictatorship started in April Fools'...
I always thought that the rap against Miz that he looks like a guy playing pro wrestler was unfair, but when he tries to be an ass-kicking face I totally see it. Sometimes clothes don't fit.

I'm pretty skeptical of this whole Becky Lynch thing but when she mocked the Flair strut I have to admit I LOL'd.

Probably something like that. Of course the Saudi thing and Linda being part of the Trump administration isn't going to endear them to anyone on that show too.

I wonder if this is a sign of WWE's growing respectability that Oliver finds them important enough to devote an entire segment to them? He only has 30 minutes or so a week, and there are actual important things to talk about.

Dave Meltzer stuff
There are lots of parallels between wrestling Twitter and baseball Twitter.

WWE Fastlane 2019
I get a giggle out of Aleister Black's neo-Brood entrance but the crowd seems to dig it, so what the hell?

There's no cheaper, easier heat than being pro-Steelers anywhere in Ohio. All hail Elias.

RIP 'The Destroyer' Dick Beyer
Dave's hand is better so the Observer last week was back to normal, and he was close with Dick we can probably count on it.

RIP 'The Destroyer' Dick Beyer
I first heard of him when he was a guest on Dave's old eYada show. (I can't find any of his clips on YouTube, alas.) His All Japan work is a heck of a lot of fun. RIP

WWE TV 02/25 - 03/03 THE BIG DAWG IS BACK
Not much better evidence of the modern world's state of terminal decline than our professional wrestlers go from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Kevin Owens.

R-Truth is 47 and Rey is 44 and tonight they both look like they're 25.

It's the power of not giving a shit. He has one foot out the door, there's no pressure on him any longer. He's much more fun and the audience can tell.

Cole just said "there are no more automatic rematch clauses in WWE" in re: Revival and Gable/Roode. When did this happen? They haven't pushed it in years, why mention it now?

Hulk Hogan Biopic in the works; Chris Hemsworth is playing him
Chris Hemsworth playing Hogan is way too flattering to Hogan's attractiveness, IMO.

I did not expect St. Thomas Becket to be referenced on WWE programming, but luckily Bryan is here for us.

Steiner Brothers bulldog off the top rope! The Revival are great. As was this match, even if the crowd doesn't particularly care.

They did a damn near perfect blow off to Corbin's disaster of a run as "constable" and yet they still trot him out there. I'm not nearly as down on his as most of the rest of what I see here and other places (I actually sort of like his in-ring), but rotating him off TV for a bit would have been smart.
