Why not Sheamus. He can have good matches with everybody, make them look good in a win or loss. Plus you don't have to worry about him being favored by any section of the audience.

Trying to check out new things this year so I watched that Maddox/Alexander vs. Garrett/Sterling tag and loved it. Everything about Alexander screams superstar, I think he'd be a great fit in NXT. Maddox looked to have tons of potential and he and Cedric told a really fun story through the match with all kinds of neat little character work. Was also really impressed with Sterling's exhausted selling after making the hot tag. Definitely gonna keep my eye on this promotion this year.

At this point I am expecting the Rumble match itself to be a letdown. But I have high hopes for Del Rio/Kalisto after seeing their two TV matches. Hopefully they can put together something really good. I actually think this is a pretty solid undercard with Becky getting a good opportunity and the tag match having the potential to be fun. Owens/Ambrose might be the match I'm actually looking least forward to at this point because it just feels so totally meaningless.

1. Finish the Mid-South set that I got about a month ago. 2. Work my way through the mid-90's of All Japan up through about 2000. 3. Introduce myself to at least one promotion or style I haven't delved into at all. 4. Attend a live wrestling event. 5. Submit a GWE ballot. 6. Start posting and discussing more.

I'm glad they're uploading this stuff but I hope they roll it out in a substantial way. I'm sure they will add more but I hope they don't stop too short of being comprehensive with some of this stuff.

I may have liked this more than most. I dug the Akiyama-Fuchi portions a lot with Akiyama hanging a little better on the mat this time around. Also want to note that Kawada's lariat on Akiyama may have been one of the hardest I have ever seen.

I was hoping for more of a straightforward slugfest. Match was decent but took way too long between spots and I had no idea what Bray's plan was with those kendo sticks. Didn't make a lot of sense.

It's been a long time since I saw that Rave/Styles ROH match but I remember loving it at the time. I distinctly remember complaints that it wasn't violent enough and didn't have enough crazy spots which is completely ridiculous. The suplex off the apron through the table was a really brutal and organic spot and the whole thing was plenty hate-filled.

The show looks pretty dreary but I am kind of hopeful that Bray and Reigns can deliver something really solid. I fear ridiculous overbooking in that match though.
