Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
I can't wait for the day Ryback's music hits and it all ends for Rusev, though.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed that match.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
That was some house show fun.

Ehh..

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
I mean, it's a pretty big deal on Social Media. Or at least, it was. First time Orton has had relevance outside of strictly wrestling circles in...ever?

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
I've watched a shit ton of Cena matches, and I think this is the first time I've realized that nothing Cena does on offense looks painful.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
Amazing video package that almost makes me want to believe that this is an all time great feud.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
I feel like I've seen that match 140 times in the past 2 years.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
Not as choreographed as the "1-2-3-4" dance routine in the previous match I missed the bulk of that match because of Network issues.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
The Bellas have to be the worst actresses to ever get notable work in a WWE ring. Everything they did looked choreographed. Even them trying to get the crowd involved looked bad, imo.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
The current WWE roster is built to have good to great matches that offset their bland personalities and shitty TV segments/match building. I think there is a great chance we see some good stuff tonight, with Ambrose/Rollins having the match of the night.

Was the Invasion always destined to fail?
I believe that was in part because of the most successful "Go Home Show" in company history. Austin turning back face on Raw was not only the best moment of the InVasion (IMO, of course) but it gave the WWF a much needed shot of adrenaline. Unfortunately, they turned him back Heel at the PPV itself.

[GWE] Taking nights off
I was looking in the Brody thread and a discussion was brought up that when he sells offense, it's usually a good match. The problem is, 95% of the time he doesn't "try" to sell, so it usually sucks. So, shouldn't he be considered someone who took most nights off, but when he tried, he was actually pretty good?

[GWE] The Moral Component
It doesn't really bother me when watching any wrestler who did awful things out of wrestling. I don't know why, but it just doesn't. Even if I think it's awful. Don't get me wrong, I think about it pretty much the whole time I'm watching a Benoit match, but I can still watch the match. Also, why does nobody talk about Bill Dundee the way they talk about Jerry Lawler and young girls? On Jamie Dundee's shoot interview, he says about 30 times that his dad used to have sex with 13 year olds and shit.

The Steve Austin Show
I certainly agree with him

The Steve Austin Show
He said that the Rock threw some shitty elbows, and that would not have been the case had HE thrown them. I'd consider that a bit of a jab, no? I thought that was just a joke. Austin and Rock have always laughed about how much Steve hates the People's Elbow. Nah. It's right after he talks about him selling Rock's punches like Hitman Hearns. Austin is laying on the mat but he's under the ropes with his upper body hanging to the outside. Rock gives him some elbows to the throat and Austin says "He could have laid those elbows in a little better." and "...had it been me, they would have looked better." I don't think he meant it to be mean spirited, though. But he was serious. It's actually pretty cool how cocky he is through the whole episode. Which is weird, because he usually tries his hardest to not be. At one point he actually says "At this point in time, there wasn't anybody in the world better than me." Awesome.

Match Length
I think it's hard for me to say a short match is great, because one of my favorite parts about wrestling is the escalation of the beating the guy is taking and the story they are telling. It's hard for both guys to really take a beating in 10 minutes. Now, there are tons of matches I see where I say "Man, that was great for a 8 minute match."

Match Length
I'm not actually doing the GWE voting, but I'm watching a lot of the matches guys post for certain wrestlers and I will not be watching anything longer than 40 minutes unless someone considers it one of the greatest matches ever. Don't want to get caught watching a match that I think is bad and seeing there is 23 minutes left.

Was the Invasion always destined to fail?
I legitimately might be the only human being alive that likes the DDP/Taker feud and the cage match. Also, I agree with this. Even though it may be contradictory given my statement above.

Spotfests - Pros and Cons
I can like a spotfest when guys sell the fact that a big spot was just performed on them and it tells a story. Like the TLC matches. Those guys looked like they had just been through a war at the end of every match. Also, I think if the spots seem organic, then I can really dig a spotfest. The MITB matches tend to look very un-organic and it takes me out of it completely. Basically, if the Spotfest seems organic, is sold properly, and tells a story, I can dig it. Now, I do think spotfests are kind of like the wrestling version of cheating. How do I get the fans to react to me since I kind of suck? Do a double back flip into a powerbomb! That'll make the fans cheer me. That's video game wrestling. I hate that shit. Like the Young Bucks.

The Steve Austin Show
Huh, so there IS a thread for this. Yeah, this episode is great. It's absurd how excited he gets watching something that he not only participated in, but has said he's watched numerous times before the actual podcast. Also, I love the little shots he throws at Rock for throwing shitty elbows and doing a bad blade job.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Austin's last podcast, imo, is a must listen. He watches his match vs Rock at 17 and breaks everything down. Truly Awesome look inside what guys are thinking when they are Main Eventing Mania. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and listen.
