Dear 2026 Wrestling Obsessives
I don't think I could've participated with a 9 month viewing period to be honest. It just wouldn't have been enough time for me to get a look at enough of the nominees and I wouldn't want to hand in a ballot where half the people nominated were people I'd never watched

Parejas Increibles Greatest Wrestler Ever Special - Part 4
Quebrada is a lionsault or an asai moonsault, quebradora is the backbreaker.

Reactions to the List: 100-51
If there's anything I learned from the 2012 Bound For Glory series it's that having 5-10 minute long Kurt Angle matches every couple of weeks is showing Kurt Angle at his worst. 5 minute attempts at epics complete with finisher kick outs against Magnus and Mr. Anderson are not 'enjoyable' That said overall I think Kurt Angle is an incredible performer and I had him at 11 on my list

The self-conscious epic in AJPW vs. The self-conscious epic in 00s WWE / indies
What does setup mean here? Does this include Ric Flair getting thrown off the top rope? Dive Trains? Setting up a table to put someone through it?

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 3
People have talked about this a lot and it still seems weird to me. I voted for the 100 wrestlers I thought were the best which might match perfectly onto my list of 100 favourites depending on what you mean by favourite. Like I honestly don't know what we're talking about when we say list of favourites. Are your favourites who you are most into right now? Who you would most want to watch a random match from? Who, hypothetically, you would be most excited to see if you ignore being tired of someone because you've seen so much of them? Who is actually the most likable? Who you would go to bat for that nobody really appreciates like you do? I could probably come up with 100 more different questions for what favourite means that would sound dumb to most people. But I honestly don't get what we're talking about when we say favourites. I have no idea if I handed in a list of favourites or if handing in a list of favourites meant I'd have to include Bob Sapp because I irrationally get excited to see Bob Sapp matches and think his entrance to Madonna's 'Holiday' against The Great Muta was amazing.

Your New Avatar: Show Off Your Shame
Are you saying you voted for this lad?

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 2
In fairness loving Daisuke Sekimoto is basically Alan Counihan's gimmick.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 2
I know that I only had her in the 80s but seeing Lioness Asuka this low just isn't right, she's just so badass

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 2
And this was my primary reason for dropping out of the project, that some of us 'weren't deemed worth enough' to contribute in this process. Who deemed some of us not worth enough? Certainly not Stephen who was organizing it and encouraging as many people as possible to vote, going as far to start the thread: 'Everyone should submit a ballot'. If there were one or two people who thought that some people hadn't seen enough to contribute I don't see why a couple of naysayers should stop you from contributing a ballot.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 2
Two guys I nearly voted for in Stan Lane and Prince Devitt coming in right behind Kenny Omega kinda bothers me, but the people have spoken and who am I to disagree. And honestly a big reason why I was considering Stan Lane is that he's my favourite member of the Midnight Express and ranking him and not Eaton or Condrey felt like a good way of making a statement of that. Which would've been a really lame reason to place someone in my top 100. jaedmc, I love Triple H but I think the award for best Great Khali match should go to Cesaro.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 2
I love that you went to all the effort to justify all those pics and it was a fun read but this exemplifies why for the most part I can't see where you're coming from.

The Worst Pay-Per-View Match Ever
I think Sting vs Jeff Hardy from Victory Road 2011 should be talked about

JvK's Six-Factor Model for GWE rankings [BIGLAV]
Say what, now? Nappy means diaper to British people, Parv definitely didn't mean anything racial and possibly doesn't even know nappy headed could mean anything racial.

The Voting Thread
Knowing my own ballot gives me a bit of an edge for predicting this. Negro Casas.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Someone using a PWG chant as a user name being the high voter on Timothy Thatcher seems wrong to me.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
I think Sami Callihan had really become something special in like 2013 before he went to WWE, but there's no way I could list him when he did nothing of note in WWE, hasn't been all that good since coming back to the indies and wasn't so great other than against Fit Finlay for much of his first indie run.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
I assume people were voting for the original Espanto Jr and not the one pictured in the results thread. But then again there's no way to really know; maybe some of those votes are for the current Espanto Jr.

Your New Avatar: Show Off Your Shame
The shame isn't in being the high vote on Kyle O'Reilly, it's just this stupid looking picture I've got as an avatar now

Your New Avatar: Show Off Your Shame
Fuck it, Mistico Edit: misunderstood this, no change in my Avatar yet

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Really surprised that Roman Reigns was on 6 ballots, i know it's not actually very many really; but it feels like a lot. 4% of the ballots, is that a lot? Most of the pictures are like ridiculous, but Jackie Sato is just her looking suave as hell. I'm not changing my avatar to Mistico, I just switched to Knives Chau like a week ago

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Mistico was the first of my picks to show up too, I had him at 97 though. That Combat Toyoda picture ruins her badass aura for me, she looks like a little old lady or something.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Honky Tonk Man? the 49th greatest wrestler ever? I'm gonna assume that the same person who put Bob Sapp at 66 did this. From now on I'm assuming all insane anon high votes are the same person.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
James Storm and Ikuto Hidaka were the first two guys I really seriously considered for my list to appear on here, and then they are tied. Ryuji Ito not finishing ahead of Tommy Dreamer is kinda tragic.

The Jerry Saggs fiasco
Welp that's pretty hilarious and it feels really appropriate with the McCarthy thing that it turned out there was no Jerry Saggs voter

Who Will You Be the High Vote On?
Don't blame BIGLAV for the fact that you said that Low Ki's peak continued until 2015
