Under-the-radar wrestling book recommendations
If you have the Hoopla app, there's an ebook about the final days of the AWA (1987-1991). They detail all of the house shows from this period, worth checking out if you're interested in AWA stuff.

Outdoor shows, yay or nay?
What do you think of shows held in outdoor venues? I personally love them as they give the shows a unique look. While I've never really been to an outdoor show (aside from an indy show held as part of a state fair way back in the day), it's neat to see shows in the sun, as well as when sunset hits. That said, I can understand how ones that are held in hot weather could negatively affect the wrestlers (especially if they wrestle in bodysuits or shirts, meaning they could get really hot and tired during the match).

So what's the endgame for Roman Reigns?
Whoever beats Roman, it'll be the final step in creating a new WWE, since Roman was the last champ of the VKM era.

So what's the endgame for Roman Reigns?
Reigns/Rock is going to be an overbooked disaster since Rock likely cant take any serious bumps (not due to his physical condition, but because of his acting career).

So what's the endgame for Roman Reigns?
Roman has to eventually lose the title, but to who? Cody seems like the favorite option I suppose, but is there anyone else? It's probably a safe bet that this is Roman's final run anyway, no way you can top it.

WWF House Show broadcasts
They did this quite a bit for Prime Time and All American as well. My theory is that the original commentary may have had references to the prior match/segment and since that segment didnt air (or at least not in the same order) it would be irrelevant. They did it for re-airings of syndie shows as well, the ep of Superstars where Earthquake injured Hogan had Ventura on commentary solo for the last two matches with Vince finally coming out sounding somber and disinterested in the matches while Ventura chided him for being so "unprofessional". For the Prime Time version though, those matches aired with the Mooney/Hayes combo and the Hogan incident, obviously, wasnt brought up.

WWE Network... It's Here
I read that as Tim Horner at first LOL (though to be fair, someone like Horner does have history in most of the major promotions).

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Wonder if Jericho gets along with Regal over their love of heavy metal at least.

Is Vince McMahon done?
I wouldnt be surprised if Vince hasnt previously recorded a bunch of footage for when he dies to set up one final "Vinceploitation" angle.

WWE Network... It's Here
I've said it elsewhere, WWE needs a historian position. They used to have Finkel in that position IIRC, but he's since passed on. There are plenty of veterans who are either in the company or are on good terms who could fit that role like Hayes, Lawler, Slaughter, Wippleman, even Heyman. All of them have tons of experience and probably enough knowledge to help juggle the history of WWF/E. But this is getting off-topic so I'll stop. OTOH, I hope we do end up seeing the Vladimir documentary eventually (the Luger one was likely reformatted into the upcoming A&E biography episode).

WWE Network... It's Here
So do you think we'll see any changes with the Network/Peacock, or will they keep it as is?

Is Vince McMahon done?
I'd keep Hayes around, but as a historian. He's probably got enough knowledge of the history of the business.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Last time I saw people wearing wrestling shirts locally was last year when I saw someone in an AEW shirt at Wal-Mart, as well as (another time) someone wearing a shirt of local indy star Apocalypse.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
This is probably the dumbest question ever asked on this board, but do you consider WrestleMania one word or two? I mean, I've seen people abbreviate shows like WrestleMania 3 as "WM3", but I've also seen it written as just one word.

[1994-01-22-WWF-Royal Rumble] Undertaker vs Yokozuna (Casket)
One question, I've read that the Undertaker who was being raised to the "heavens" was actually Marty Jannetty in an Undertaker suit. Is this legit? Looking at the segment its hard to say, but the hair doesnt seem to match. I mean, they still could have conceivably just used Undertaker (slip a trap door in the casket so taker can head in back and get strapped up while the pre-taped interview is playing).

WWE quirks, linguistic and otherwise
Yet another bump. That weird wedding from last week was billed as a "commitment ceremony". They have used Wedding before, so I dont know why they went with that.

Control Your Narrative: when you totally get Fight Club
With Aries also working with the NWA, is anyone worried they might just merge with the NWA? I'd like to think Corgan wouldnt allow that, but stranger things have happened.
