Your first memory of Pro Wrestling
First exposure was when my uncle brought over the Wrestlemania NES game. Sure, we know NOW that it was horrible, but I liked it back then, and it made me want to know more about the wrestlers in the game. So i started buying PWI and WWF magazine, and rented old videos (first ones i remember renting were Best of the WWF Vol. 2 and WM4), but my first real exposure (as opposed to older video) was watching the Main Event special from Feb. 1990.

WWE's "Unseen Matches" DVD
Flair vs. Steamboat Sting vs. Callous Pillman vs. Liger Benoit vs. Booker series Also, I've read that there were plenty of Nitro dark matches as well. And if they could get the rights to it, that Christopher Knight vs Danny Bonaduce match from Spring Stampede 94 would be an interesting curiosity.

WWE's "Unseen Matches" DVD
If this set sells well, think we'll see a similar one for WCW?

I wonder how they'll handle commentary, since i'm pretty sure these matches did not originally have commentary.

Did they ever face each other?
How about Barry Windham vs Stan Hansen? For that matter, did Hansen ever face any of the Von Erichs?

What if, the WWF went with the original plans for WM4?
I wonder what the Rude/Savage feud would be like. Probably decent matches, but would they go with the obvious angle of Rude hitting on Elizabeth, especially if the Roberts feud still happens?

What if, the WWF went with the original plans for WM4?
While thinking about this, I thought about maybe Savage dropping it to Greg Valentine a few months after WM4. Valentine was doing nothing at this point, so giving him one more run with the belt wouldnt hurt anything, and it frees up Savage to go after Dibiase (maybe even have Ted interfere to cost Savage the belt). Then you can do the Warrior squash at Summerslam (while Valentine wasnt nearly as hated as HTM was, Warrior coming out and destroying him would still get a huge pop), and move on from there.

What if, the WWF went with the original plans for WM4?
Savage as IC champ likely means that we dont get Warrior's title win at Summerslam 88 as well, which means that Warrior's push is either stalled or never happens.

What if, the WWF went with the original plans for WM4?
Not sure if this was a rumor or not, but apparently the original plans for WM4 were for Dibiase to win the title, while Savage would have beaten Honky for the IC title on the Main Event Special where Andre beat Hogan and sold the title to Dibiase. However, Honky threatened to jump to Crockett with the IC belt, so they changed it so that Savage wins the title. What if Honky had no issues with dropping the IC title, and they went with the original plans?

Letters From Center Stage
I was actually the one who sent in the "dream match" topic, thanks for using it! BTW, The PPV that was supposedly advertised with "we're the ppv company and even we dont know whats going to happen" was Fall Brawl 99, but i havent seen any evidence of that ad existing (i even tried google images, no dice).

What If.... The Slam Heard Around The World
^ Just wanted to point out that Summerslam wasnt around in 1987, though I suppose you could just have the title change on an episode of SNME.

What If, Austin's career ends in 97?
As for Austin, I can't see them just letting him sit at home, the WWF would likely come up with some type of role that doesnt require any physical contact, like a color commentator (he would be GREAT in that role) or even a road agent. Heck, he could even, as he said in his own book, "tie up Pillman and force him into rehab" (though to be fair, if he didnt do that when he had the chance, there's no guarantee that he'd do it in this alternate universe).

What If, Austin's career ends in 97?
These What If threads are interesting, so here's one I came up with. What if after the Summerslam 97 piledriver incident, Austin was never cleared by the doctors and was pretty much forced to retire? What would happen then? I could see them hastily turning Bret babyface somehow (maybe the rest of the Hart Foundation become more of a gang, which causes Bret to decide to break ties with them (possibly leading to a Bret beatdown), and he can apologize for the whole anti-American stuff) and definitely not getting rid of him (maybe he lets Shawn go, but thats a topic someone else already did). I cant see the WWF overtaking WCW if that happens though, at best they'd be at the level TNA is now.

What if... Vince chose Bret over Shawn?
Since this means Bulldog and Neidhart likely would have stayed too, what role would they play?

WWE's "Unseen Matches" DVD
I wonder if the Razor/Jarrett title switches from 1995 (Razor beat Jarrett for the IC title in a ladder match, but Jarrett got it back days later) exists on tape. That would be an interesting little tidbit to see.

Matches that happened too early or too late
Too late-Bret Hart vs Sting in 1998. Would have been a dream match in the late 80s/early 90s.

WWE quirks, linguistic and otherwise
Six-Man matches are now being referred to as "six-person", even if all the wrestlers in the ring are the same gender.

WWE Network... It's Here
I wouldnt mind seeing Confidential return with new episodes, actually.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Were the New Breed really R&R clones? Their whole premise was that they were from the future, not that they were pretty boy rock fans.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Didnt ICW have The New York Rockers? And one could argue that the Rock N Rave Inflection was a modern-day R&R Express clone.

I'd like to see them throw out some of the ppv dark matches. Yeah, most of them were jobber squashes, but there were still some interesting sounding ones there like Public Enemy vs Smoking Gunns (Survivor Series 95) or Adam Bomb vs Kwang (Summerslam 94).
