Best Tag Team Names?
Here's one thats rarely brought up, Vader and Sid as The Masters of the Powerbomb. I dont know, i just always found it cool, if a tad generic.

WWE Network... It's Here
Have any other wrestlers who used the flag (Tracey Smothers for example) ever discussed its use in wrestling?

Under-the-radar wrestling book recommendations
A few years ago i heard a rumor that Taka Michinoku wrote an autobiography that was only released in Japan. Any truth to this rumor? I'd be interested in reading it if it ever got translated.

Famous fans
I've heard Adam Sandler is a fan, which could explain the reference to Chief Jay Strongbow in Big Daddy.

WWE Network... It's Here
I wonder what happened to Legends with JBL. There were already episodes taped with Jimmy Hart, Michael Hayes, and Booker T, so they do have those episodes ready to air. I hope they arent being delayed because they were too controversial (the preview for the hayes episode has him implying that Gino may have been murdered, and the preview for the Booker episode has JBL asking him about Hogans racist rant).

Wrestlers Doing Nerd Stuff
How can we forget Kofi Kingston's comic book inspired tights (pre-new day). Not sure if it's exactly "nerdy" but Chris Jericho is obviously a huge metal fan, and not just of the mainstream stuff too (he took the name "jericho" from the Helloween album Walls of Jericho). And related to that, Mick Foley's huge fandom of alt-country.

Wrestlers Doing Nerd Stuff
Raven wrote an issue of the Spider-Man spinoff comic "Tangled Web" (the story in question was the story of Crusher Hogan BEFORE he faced off against Peter Parker).

Did ECW even have tv in 1992?

The Worst Gimmick Match Concept Ever
Come to think of it, has there ever been a cage that has no door? I dont mean a situation where the door is locked, im talking no door at all, and the only way to escape is to climb out (of course, this limits the type of wrestlers who could compete, no "Giant" wrestlers for example).

The Worst Gimmick Match Concept Ever
Speaking of cage matches, am i the only one who doesnt get why some promotions would have tag team cage matches contested under "traditional" rules? IMO, cage matches should pretty much be no-holds-barred, with the ref just there to count a pinfall. Otherwise it just becomes a regular match with the novelty of a cage,

WWE Network... It's Here
Any love for Legends with JBL? The most recent ones with Road Dogg and Ron Simmons were very good, even emotional at times. I'd almost go as far to say it's better than the Stone Cold Podcast.

Biggest Matches Left On The Table
After watching Royal Rumble 1990, i find it sad that we never got face jake roberts vs heel randy savage. Yeah, we got heel jake vs face randy, but the match with the roles reversed would have been good too, given the sample of it we got in the rumble match.

NXT Kids
Did they have the same restrictions that Saturday Morning Slam did as it pertains to certain moves (they werent allowed to use any shots to the neck on SMS)?

Smackdown 01-08 Did You Get It?
For the first 3-4 months of 2006 i didnt have access to it as my cable company didnt have UPN for some reason (thankfully, this meant i never got to see the infamous "Eddie's in hell" promo). Other than that, i've had access to it pretty much non-stop.

WWF's introduction of music in the 80s
Actually P&G had music for their earliest matches, but dropped it by Summerslam.
-
WWF's introduction of music in the 80s
Several actually, Hogan, Piper, Steamboat, JYD, Hillbilly Jim, Cpl. Kirchner, Outback Jack, Bigelow, Strike Force, Young Stallions, Sam Houston, and Rockin Robin were all 1987-era faces who had theme music.

WWF's introduction of music in the 80s
There were also cases where music just wouldnt fit. Barbarian, Warlord, and Bad News Brown for example had no music, as it wouldnt really fit their characters. Same with Backlund not having music until his "presidential canidate" gimmick, since Backlund was a throwback to the old school. Speaking of which, was the WWF the first company to use original music (as opposed to the "real" songs that Mid-South, Memphis, World Class, AWA, JCP, and other federations used at the time)?

Jesse Ventura,the WCW run
Did Ventura ever work with Gordon Solie during this run? Thats a combo i would have liked to see.
-
The Taskmaster and his Dungeon of shite
Didnt they pretty much drop the horror/supernatural elements near the end of their run? I remember when Big Bubba joined and was wearing biker clothes, and you also had Konnan in his gang outfit, a far cry from the yetis or sharks or zodiacs and such.

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
Didnt the WWF show Rick McGraw's final match AFTER he died (and then announced his death the week after)? I guess the Marella incident isnt that scummy to be honest, it's more of an example of what can go wrong with pre-taped shows (see also the problems that happened with the WCW Disney tapings).

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
Would Gene Okerlund insulting Brady Boone on the WCW Hotline after his death count (he said the only reason nobody had a bad thing to say about Boone was because nobody knew who he was) qualify? Or how about the WWF not informing fans of Joey Marella's death until after the run of episodes taped with Marella as referee had aired?

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
Would the NWO Horsemen sketch count? Though to be fair, I remember reading that it was originally going to end with the Horsemen doing a run-in at the end and beating down the nwo (with Arn at the top of the ramp clapping), but they nixed it so that the nwo DIDNT get their comeuppance. Even then, they went after issues that had nothing to do with Arn the wrestler but Arn the person (ie, the references to drinking).
