WWE TV 11/12-11/18 STONE COLD BECKY LYNCH
For real, the card is sneakily really good. AJ had one of Brock's best matches last year, Becky/Ronda should be a blast, AoP/Bar is going really under the radar but should be awesome, and I'm always a sucker for the elimination matches. Plus Ali/Murphy! Genuinely looking forward to the PPV

WWE Hidden Gems
He's the brother of Johnny Ace and Road Warrior Animal, so you may see a family resemblance. He was the least successful Laurenitis brother, Marc, though he did work an AJPW tour in 87 as Tom Zenk's partner in the RWTL

WWE Hidden Gems
This is an incredible watch. Bless Tom Burton still playing to a non existent crowd. That's a professional. "Press the button, Greg!"

WWE TV 11/05 - 11/11 ei bolsonaro vai tomar no cu
Word is that Vega is nursing an injury after landing badly in the Evolution Battle Royal, so I wouldn't read too much into her absence

Dave Meltzer stuff
He said that Michaels doesn't compare to Will Ospreay. I don't even like Michaels, and that feels like a real slap in the face.

WWE TV 10/29 - 11/4 warning: actual political rant inside
Does the winner get a title match? Because I'd be pretty into an Orton/ Styles match. They were in a triple threat (with Jinder) at a house show I went to last year, and they paired up pretty well.

U.K. promoters lifting names from U.S. stars - any go the opposite direction?
I remember Scotty Riggs saying he'd faced Loch Ness in his first Nitro match, and that Loch Ness had fallen onto his head, which caused Hogan to instantly nix any programme.

Mae Young Classic 2018 thread
Looking forward to seeing a few more of the PC trained women getting integrated into NXT over the coming year, the way Lacey Evans and Bianca Belair have in the past 12 months. In particular, Xia Li and Taynara Conti have shown a load of improvement from last year, thought both of Li's matches this year have been really good.

Mae Young Classic 2018 thread
Not suggesting it's likely, but if she did have a good showing, they could still use her in NXT UK

WWE Agents, Trainers, Refs, Staff & Stuff
Shawn and Terry Taylor are both on the Performance Centre website as coaches. I think Taylor runs the finishing class, last I read. As I recall, Johnny Moss is apparently going to be working with a lot of the NXT UK guys, so he's been learning the WWE way in the PC. I also read there's been an NXT UK camp this week with Bloom, Brookside, Moss and James Mason as coaches. Jason Jordan was apparently backstage sitting in on production meeting while injured, but apparently they do that with a lot of inactive talent.

WWE Super Show-Down
I'm guessing it's nothing more sinister than Nia not considering herself Australian. Just because she was born there didn't mean she has to identify herself as bring from there. I've got a friend who was born in Canada to two English parents, left when he was three and has never returned, and he's certainly never referred to himself as Canadian. Nia's wiki says she was brought up in Hawaii and San Diego, so she probably has no memory of Australia as part of her upbringing. Besides, the show had the Iiconics and Murphy, who are all openly Australian, they didn't need to force that onto Nia to muddy the waters.

WWE Super Show-Down
I'm assuming Joe didn't grab the ropes because theres no rope break in a no DQ match, so it wouldn't do him any good

WWE Super Show-Down
Cena's sixth move of doom was delightful. Is it just me, or did the Iiconics not seem particularly over?

Goodhelmet's Wrestling Weekend
Based on current storylines, I'm guessing this was Eddie Kingston

RIP Nate Hatred
My first indy tape was Best of the Best 3, where Hatred won the battle royal, and I've had a soft spot for the guy since. The H8 Club were pretty fun at just wrecking guys, this is a real shame

WWE SUMMERSLAM 2018 THE BIGGEST PARTY OF THE SUMMER
The Becky turn feels a lot like when Bayley attacked Sasha, where turning a natural face on a miscast face didn't fit, and instead the crowd were just happy to see the face finally standing up for themselves. Just have to hope Paige doesn't force Becky to undertake therapy sessions with Charlotte

NXT TakeOver Brooklyn 4
What's great about this show is that you could ask four different people and get four different legit picks for match of the night (sorry EC3/Dream). Sane/Baszler takes it for me, just the perfect mix of likable pure face vs nasty bully heel. Loved that Kairi showed no fear to Baszler, as one of the few women to beat her, and took the fight to her. Mental to think Shayna has been wrestling less than three years

Dave Meltzer stuff
To be fair to the wrestlers, a lot of the same people called out Lio Rush when he made his ill timed joke after Emma's firing, so it may be a sign of a close knit locker room who don't take kindly to a colleague being slighted

WWE TV 7/30-8/5
You'd have to be nuts to take such a natural babyface and have her turn heel on such a natural heel... ...oh fuck, that's obviously what they're going to do.

Born in the 1990s
I went to a show last month where a guy called Joe Nelson wrestled, and his tights had "Est 2002" on them, which means he must only be 16. And he was excellent, a guy less than half my age, made me feel ancient. Heck, Millie McKenzie is only 18 and is already getting a huge reputation and getting noticed by WWE (dark match at NXT UK). If she stays healthy, she'll be a star in the next 5 years

Hulk Hogan reinstated into the Hall of Fame, maybe making an appearance tonight
Also, given that the Hall of Fame has only one requirement - that Vince wants you in there - I think Vince sees "making a porn film with characters to represent me, my daughter and son in law" as a big enough reason to blackball her for good.

World Cup, football and Pro Wrestling
As a Welshman who normally enjoys a good chuckle at England failures, the behaviour of Colombia turned them face in my eyes. Such niggly, dirty players, with the member of coaching staff who body-checked Sterling, played innocent to the ref then chuckled about it, being the ultimate panto villain. Falcao's horrible overreacting to every justified free kick given against his team was embarrassing, as was the three minutes delay for the penalty. Ref should have been dishing out yellows a minute into that farce.

Guys who were with the company far longer than you remember
I was looking up David Sammartino recently, and he wrestled in the WWF through to 1988, albeit with big gaps in between runs. Jim Powers was still appearing as JTTS in August 94

UFC 203: Because CM Punk is finally fighting
Punk himself referred to Cabana as his best friend in a couple of interviews after the case was over. The report about them having a "falling out" was almost two years ago though, I guess they could've patched things up a while ago. Now, the original rumor said it was because Cabana went backstage to a RAW show and took pictures with people. If Bix says that didn't happen, I wonder if they ever had a falling out in the first place. These quotes from a post-trial interview with Colt don't suggest things are going too well... On the status of his friendship with Punk: We're... we're what we are, you know? On whether he and Punk are least cordial: Yes. Of course we are. https://411mania.com/wrestling/colt-cabana-discusses-status-friendship-cm-punk/

UFC 203: Because CM Punk is finally fighting
Admittedly Twitter isn't the best forum to declare this vendetta
