The Panteras v. Navarros matches aired on IWRG TV and can be found on Cubsfan's Youtube.

PTBN Reaction Show: Fastlane 2016
Starting the show now. Just to let you guys know, the MP3 shows both Will and Johnny's last names. Not sure that was intended.

The Worst Gimmick Match Concept Ever
Chicky v. Invader 3 is awesome, and also feels like one of the most dangerously tall scaffolds I've seen used. Does anyone have a date on that Dutch v. Dundee match? Or better yet, a link?

Sunny Side Up: In Through the Backdoor
While I feel like the comments about her diet were a bit harsh, the rest of DMJ's review is fairly spot-on. She looks pretty out of it, definitely sporting the high dose of benzodiazepines look.

Viaje del Parties: 2016 in Review
This is a hell of a thread you've got going here. I know how hard something like this can be to keep up, but with any consistency this will likely be my go-to guide for 2016 match reviews. It doesn't hurt that we have very similar tastes.

Watching wrestling under the influence
I was stoned for nearly every piece of wrestling I watched from 2004 until early 2015. I stopped smoking weed in April of last year a couple months before the birth of my first daughter. I find now that my attention span is harder to control and that I'm less likely to watch wrestling for an extended period of time. Whether that's more due to my being sober or the fact that I have to also entertain a very small human, it's hard to say for sure. But I think smoking a bowl prior to or while watching definitely made me more optimistically analytical and less critical of the flaws in any given match.

Between the Sheets #28 (January 26 - February 1, 1991) (Featuring Kris Zellner & David Bixenspan)
Plus it's just weed. It's not like he got busted sneaking quaaludes up his ass.

WWE Network... It's Here
I grabbed a free month to watch the Rumble and have been enjoying showing my girlfriend some classic wrestlecrap. We've watched a couple of the Battle Bowls and the first World War 3, and the 99 Spring Break Nitro. Does anyone have any suggestions for god awful embarrassing shows that might be accessible to someone who is still relatively new to wrestling? I was thinking of some 2000 WCW but I feel like it all might be a bit too meta for her. That said, I'm up for whatever.

NJPW 2016
They've done Shibata vs. Ishii like half a dozen times already and it's literally always the same.

PTBN Royal Rumble Reaction Show
I look forward to the inevitable montage set to "Everlong" when Johnny finally retires.

PTBN Royal Rumble Reaction Show
Can't help but notice Bix' audio weirdness started after he made fun of Will's bad segue way. #PoliticalHit

Sunny vs Sable
Sable was gross and a terrible promo. The only thing you can really say about her legacy is she showed her tits when the company was in its hottest period. Tammy was incredible, one of the best non-wrestlers of the 90s. And she was incredibly sexy.

Jerry Lawler vs Terry Funk: The Last Stand
Holy shit you are the absolute worst.

Post-split All Japan
I also really enjoyed the Sekimoto and Okabayashi run there. Your mileage may vary on that style, but as a longtime BJW fan, that was an exciting time to be following All Japan again.

Post-split All Japan
Masa Funaki's run was awesome. I love his matches with Kono, Suwama and Akiyama. The cage match from one of the sumo hall shows vs Kono is a personal favorite.

Modern Indie Wrestling
Goofy douchebag Hero really is the best. I watched him teaming with Teddy Hart against Joe and MVP from Jersey All Pro the other day. Not a good match, but watching Hero come out wearing one of Teddy's custom tailored velvet suits, taunting Joe, and just being a fucking goofball; it was just hilarious.

Is this the famous 5-star Tsuruta-Tenryu match?
Yeah to be fair, my real suggestion would be to start with the Choshu invasion and watch all those tags up through the split of the Jumbo-Tenryu duo and then all the tags with Yatsu and whatnot. That's the way to watch this stuff. It's all well worth taking a look at, 85-89 All Japan might be my favorite wrestling. EDIT: I forget how much exposure this board has now with all the podcasts. This was a safe place at one point. Link has been removed. Original poster can PM me if interested.

NWA On Demand
So how do you guys consume this stuff? HDMI cable or something? I have a 4 month old baby, I can't imagine watching wrestling on my PC at this point.

Is this the famous 5-star Tsuruta-Tenryu match?
I would recommend watching their other high profile singles matches before this. Ditch still has them up. What ever happened to Ditch by the way?

NWA On Demand
I imagine this info is buried somewhere in this massive thread, but did they ever get the Roku app running?

Digging in the Crates #3 - Phil Schneider w/ Eric Ritz
I really enjoyed the part in this where you guys shit on Kevin Kelly's ROH commentary, and then it led directly into an ad for the Kevin Kelly Show. I about died. Also enjoyed the Juggs Magazine discussion.

Current (#2) Japanese promotions
Thanks for the heads up. Their match last December was my MOTY.
