  1. I love Al-Kassie so u got my vote. I love in ring promos and Al-Kassie was heat seeker with his Iraqi accent. Btw he legit went to grade school Saddam Hussein!
  2. Parv stop hatin on Jimmy Jam. Although I am surprised to see them nominated I am also happy because I love Garvin maybe Because he was cool in wccw. Anyway he was the work horse Hayes never did much. The only critisism is that they purposely no sold and the other negative is that the early '90s MARKS were sick of all that glam and wanted EDGIER TEAMS like LOD blew up when they hit mainstream WWF & STEINERS. BUT looking back it's so entertaining watching the clash when the freebirds debut their music video! If u haven't seen it u must go watch it now!
  3. I was thinking'89 wwf because Harley Barry Tully Arn Randy Hogan Bulldogs I think Garvin Valentine Brett Owen Shawn ;but I guess WCW'97 was pretty good. I'M on a cell sorry bout the sloppiness. I can narrow it down for u. I know it wasn't GWF'91
  4. Thank you @victory that brings back memories when I was little telling my sister that Hogan 's real name was Terry Boulder! Anyway I knew that tape had nothing to do with Colesium Home Video. I remember there was also one with just Terry Boulder on cover and I think one with Andre on cover. Anyway I hope I find those matches online.
  5. I remember seeing this VHS in K-Mart when I was about 6 or 7 and just walking around the store with it until my mom would take it away from me when it was time to check out! Never did i see it on the blue light special. But K - mart always had good selection of apter mags and other mags! Anyway does anyone know what is on this tape?
  6. Has anyone listened to the Bruce Hart podcast. He NEVER lets his guests talk! It's CRAZY! Every time he rambles on "in the old days we did this and blah, blah" Usually his guests will think its their turn to speak but 2 seconds later he starts up again!!! I think its called Hart Beat Radio
  7. I have to show you a hilarious crossword puzzle from 1984!
  8. I think Bix mentioned this on "6:05 Podcast" but didn't know if he found the same honey-hole that I did. But anyway if you are obsessed with the insider newsletter community of fans from as early as the sixties than I have a treat for you! Personally I am interested in 1980 - 1994 but when you look at the time and effort fans would go through to create these letters, it is amazing. I usually just randomly scroll through one and start reading. The bottom of this sample was pretty cool to read! About Bret's debut!
  9. My personal favorites are pwo-ptbn: specifically Between the Sheets and any podcast that talks about the '80s and early '90s. WTBBP and Titans need some fresh material.
  10. For the amusement park u gotta have Flair's space mountain. Stinger Splash for the water park. And my final attraction would be called "Your Last Ride,.. with SuperFly Jimmy Snuka."
  11. In regards to F_, marry, kill. Of course jon sorrow would kill Jesse Ventura. Jews hate it when famous people expose the truth! Say what u will about Jesse but at least he questions authority. I wish we had a Muhammad Ali in our generation, someone who risked his prime fighting years for standing up for truth & justice. Unless u have a reason for hatin on Jesse? The years Jesse was at Wwf were the best! What was his last big show? Mania 6? IMO that was peak of WWF and they never recovered. They had some cool moments after he left but not as intense. I followed him to wcw & love those years when Rude debuted & Dragon was back. Iron man matches are incredible. Then on to Governor he went. God bless the "body."
  12. I love Flair's Podcast because he asks good questions and he always gives his medical report on the old guys!
  13. LINKS? SAVE MP3 AND POST HERE PLEASE. UNLESS U WERE ONE OF THOSE KIDS WHO DIDNT SHARE THEIR TOYS!
  14. I agree with everyone who voted the "widow-maker" Barry Windham. Barry had it all.
  15. What about George Steele? Savage had to be peaking on his road to his first World Title.
  16. Anything '84-'94 WWF and '84 - 2000 NWA/WCW include me. I'm witty speak clearly and produced Audio before but main thing is I am a Wrestling Nut! I know this is an old thread but just wanted to offer my help.
  17. Outsider replied to Grimmas's topic in 2016
Has anybody got Silo Sam on their list? I was watching old PW News show with Solie & Pedicino and Silo Sam said he was 7'9"! He was horrible talker though. AWA Look him up and you will see the white El Giante!
  18. This was a crazy PPV Event for the simple reason that NWA/WCW as far as I know rarely came to Wisconsin and I don't think there was ever a WCW TV taping or PPV in Wisconsin before SuperBrawl II. Milwaukee is a great city to book these events for simple fact that you draw ppl from Chicago which is about an hour south and you draw ppl from Green Bay to Madison to Minnesota to Indiana and Milwaukee has rich wrestling history. I was about 10 I think when this show happened but didn't go because if you didn't pay attention to local flyers you would not know when they were in your town and my parents were cheap and divorced.
  19. My next door neighbor at the time was a HUGE FLAIR MARK he was allot older than most kids in the hood maybe about 15 or 16 and he came outside with his hair in a ponytail talking about Flair and school me on Flair and I remember asking him about the best match and he said Steamboat vs Savage WM3 and at this time my mom didn't have a VCR so I couldn't rent it until I was 11 years old which was a few years later. But I always remembered flair with that Ponytail and I thought it was so cool at the time.
  20. One piece of trivia is that Sheik is one of the only wrestlers to have a successful marriage with his wife in the business. Most wrestlers who bring their wives around end up in divorce court! - Anyway I was always facinated by the Sheik even though living north of Chicago we didn't get Detroit TV and by the time I was born WWF was taking over, but through the magazines he looked like a badass. Every Sunday when my mom, Grandma and Great-Aunt would go shopping I would be kneeling down in front of the news stand looking through the dozen of wrestling mags. It seemed every week there would be a new magazine that wasn't there the week prior.
  21. Of course Johnny has to be ignorant again. He said "Skandar Akbar was only Arab with Texas accent." Are you serious? Anyway Skandar Akbar translates to Alexander the Great! I think his real name was Joe Awad or something. And he is Lebanese-American. Ted Dibiase and Akbar were close. In WCCW he was scary. Was Brother Love working in Amarillo?
  22. WorldWide was awesome! They had dozens of TV's hanging above the crowd. And the ring was on a giant turn table! And my favorite thing about 1991 was The Diamond Studd, "good God!"
  23. I'm a mark for Hogan playing air-guitar to voodoo chile. Go watch it And see for yourself.
  24. ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man" watch raw footage from Crockett Cup. Midnight Express. The entrance is bad ass. If u grew up in '80s u gotta love Warriors theme. Oh just remembered Hollywood Hogan's theme Voodo Chile - Hendrix
