Hopefully they’ll replay it. I think AEW has some talent to be excited about in their women’s division as long as they keep improving. Everyone seems unique and brings something different to the table. I really like the entire babyface side in this match.

With recent news of them going out of their way to keep MLW from getting in front of more eyeballs, if Vince is trying to put the screws to a third tier promotion he for sure is keeping tabs on the clear #2 in measurable numbers.

Got busy messing around on my computer and missed the first 20 minutes or so. I thought Shawn Spears was going to start doing some weird striptease dancing on that chair.

My thoughts too unfortunately. As long as there is nostalgia for the characters they own the rights to from 20+ years ago there’s no reason to create anything new. That probably describes most pop culture these days.

Been thinking about this lately. Cena has ties to Warnermedia through Wipeout and Peacemaker, so it would make sense from a business perspective. I’m sure Cena has some loyalty to Vince McMahon as do a lot of wrestlers. If Vince passes away or sells the company I wonder if any of that loyalty would carry over to the WWE brand? Some might still feel a sense of loyalty to Stephanie, Shane, or HHH if they are in charge but if there are new owners I think there’s a better chance we could see someone like Cena show up.

Jim Ross: “We don’t know when Cody Rhodes is coming back.” Um, Jim, they just announced he would be back on next week’s Dynamite. Sigh.

It was ok. Picked up about midway through. Something was wrong with Dustin, but he made it work. Cody can’t be out that long, so doing an interim champion is strange. Maybe time for one match for Sammy vs Garcia, then either Sammy is going to lose the title right back to Cody or is going to beat Cody which begs the question why lose to him in the first place?

Wonder if Dustin had Covid?

Another table spot so soon after what happened with Fenix might not be the best idea.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Rather see a gradual recovery. This match has been laid out weird so far.

Is Dustin ok or is him acting winded part of some story they are trying to tell?

Impact Women’s Champion Mickie James is going to be in this year’s Royal Rumble. WWE is opening their own Forbidden Door. Truly a crazy time in wrestling.

MLW Azteca premiers tonight at 8 on MLW’s YouTube channel. I’m hoping they can capture the same vibe as Lucha Underground.

Happy to see Jurassic Express win. Feel good ending to the show for me. Hope Rey Fenix is ok, he’s amazing. Weird with the lights going out at the end. Was wondering if someone jumped the gun or just technical difficulties. The camera shots of everyone at the end was strange.

One of my all time favorite wrestlers because of his early 90’s work. I thought he was a phenomenal babyface with a ton of potential. WCW politics hurt him, then when he was on the verge of breaking out with the Loose Cannon gimmick he had his accident. I think he could have been a big deal in the attitude era but it wasn’t meant to be.

Sad but true. I wish he was more but I haven’t seen it yet either.

Julia Hart with an eye patch is an interesting choice.

Personally I hope MJF starts bringing out a Wrestlemania sign and pointing to it.
