Not a bad opener, even if the way they got there is kind of 'blah'. Drew McIntyre feels like he should be more than what he is. Always someone else's flunky or doing someone else's dirty work for some reason.

Catching up on these, listening to the McMahon buys WCW episode, I didn't realize that the first deal on the table with McMahon he would have taken over WCW with the timeslots still on TNT for Nitro and TBS for Thunder. Unfortunately he had an exclusive contract with TNN/Spike/Paramount Network/Whatever it's called now that any wrestling he produced had to be on their channel only. Sucks, because I think the Invasion would have turned out a whole lot better in that scenario. Has anyone ever done a book or other deep dive into everything that went on with WWE/WCW/ECW from 2000-2001? I know the end of WCW has been combed over many times, but the implosion of three major wrestling companies all with national tv deals and PPV into one has always been interesting to me.

I would love to see Vince and Shane McMahon vs Ali and 'Allah'. I'm sure that would go over great in Saudi Arabia.

Guys, new channel on Roku Jarrett Parsons Wrestling has episodes of Memphis Wresting, ICW, Southwest, IWA, Continental, Portland, Vancouver, Atlantic Grand Prix, and more. Not sure if there is anything new there but definitely worth checking out.

Just found out about this. Glad to see the spiritual successor to WTBBP. Just downloaded the first show to start catching up.

Pursuit has a Roku channel, not on Comcast so that's how I'll be watching.

If they had held off for a week or two they could had better response at the Georgia Dome. I dont think they wanted a good response. They probably got exactly what they wanted at the time.

GLOW Season 2 hits Netflix June 29th.

Always interested in the territory history, and I like finding out more about the Gorgeous George/DuMont network era. Not much before that though.
