Original Starrcade 93 Plans + Sid as Champion
Can I get the name of this podcast? There is a podcast dedicated to bad wrestling of the 1990s, and they just attempted to do a Sid match marathon.

You're welcome. Glad I could help. Should I post the links for the other parts? Looks like the last one (part 5) was posted about 3 months ago.

Rise of the WWE
Thought this was the best place to post about a subreddit I found discussing the Rise of the WWE. Posted about 6 months ago, it's actually about Vince McMahon's purchase of the WWF and it's rise in the early 80's. I just finished part 2 and it's been a pretty good read so far. It's not sourced, but I have seen comments pointing out anything that may be off. Would be interested in hearing what anyone else thought of it. Are there any good books or articles that go into this time in detail? https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/4epsby/rise_of_the_wwe_a_timeline_of_vince_mcmahons/

ESPN gives WWE/Wrestling their own section
I wonder if ESPN would be interested in getting back in the wrestling game and having a program again like the AWA/GWF shows?

WWE Network... It's Here
News to me, but it's possible. Had Directv (formerly Primestar) at my parents' house starting in 1998 and I don't remember seeing it. Ok, looks like it was a special PPV version of Nitro they started in Mid 1998: DIRECT TV PPV DEBUTS WCW began their "Backstage Nitro Blast" for Direct TV susbcribers. It's a $4.99 PPV where the day after each PPV viewers can see Nitro commercial free with exclusive features. During commercials WCW aired interviews conducted by Lee Marshall and others with Malenko and Juventud.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
I think part of it had to do with the logo they came up with, and to make sure no one was confused thinking this had anything to do with Global Force Wrestling.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
Guess since he already debuted in NXT they decided to go a different route. Tajiri is a welcome surprise. I'm only familiar with half the names on the list, but looking forward to digging up stuff on the rest of them.

Your first memory of Pro Wrestling
Pretty sure it was a late 80's episode of one of the NWA Saturday morning shows with sting and eddie gilbert after Crockett purchased the UWF.

Barry Windham vs Kerry Von Erich?
Headed to Florida this week heard they have some awesome yard sales and flea markets around where we are staying, maybe I'll get lucky and find a wrestling fan with old vhs tapes. Lol

Barry Windham vs Kerry Von Erich?
I noticed those when I was searching last night and have them saved to watch on vacation this week. Thanks. Hopefully whatever WWE has in the CWF library sees the light of day sometime.

Barry Windham vs Kerry Von Erich?
Was messing around with Booking Revolution (fun little game by the way) and a matchup that happened for me was Barry Windham vs Kerry Von Erich. That got me thinking that would be a great match I think, but it doesn't look like it ever happened. According to WrestlingData.com, they faced each other in tags in Championship Wrestling from Florida in May 1982. Does anyone know if any of those made tape?

NWA-TNA 2003 aka a passive-agressive way to deal with depression
I had forgotten about the Hard 10 tournament, but from your description I started having flashbacks to the Dupp Cup. *shudder*

Your Wrestling Guilty Pleasure
Good wrestlers in bad/weird gimmicks. Brad Armstrong as Arachnaman, Art Barr as the Juicer, Hector Guerrero as Laser Tron. World Wrestling All Stars. Weekly PPV era TNA. Hogan/Bischoff TNA (Jeff Jarrett cleaning a bathroom, Sean Morley comes in after him and you hear Jarrett go 'oh God' cracks me up) NWO celebrity stuff (Jay Leno, Rodman and Malone)

Southeastern/Continental Championship Wrestling
Damn that sucks. If you have a list of stuff you need help replacing I'd be willing to help out too best I can.

NWA-TNA 2003 aka a passive-agressive way to deal with depression
Thank you for reviewing these. I really enjoyed the weekly tna ppv's when they were happening. A lot of crap, I'll admit, but to me the good stuff (or so bad it was good stuff) made up for it. Loved Amazing Red, AMW, Raven, XXX, and Styles.
